i have been watching caddicarus for a long time, and i wanted to put this message here as the channel turns ten years old. i came into the channel's history half way through and was introduced to the channel when he only had about 400,000 subscribers, it all started with the Playstation Cheats video in 2017 when i was scrolling through a search result and got intrigued, and the moment i clicked on the video i was hooked. and while the video's views may not be that significant when compared to any of his newer uploads, but it really was significant to me. i remember the joke that i would quote all the time was the "Garbled Commentary" cheat. anyone who remembers that deserves a veterans... biscuit. i was always fascinated by the diffrent turns caddy would make to his channel, like when he removed the "Slaughtered or Salvaged" bit from his videos and i thought it was a bit of a copout, until i learned to live with it as it gave caddy more creative freedom at the start and ends of his videos. and to me, i'm fairly certain that these kinds of videos were all prototypes for what would eventually become his content in 2020. as an old school fan i was always amaxed the longer the videos got in length, and when it finally peaked at over an hour and 20 minutes i knew that caddy was my favourite youtuber. like at that time, the Kingdom Hearts 3 video being 49 minutes was absolutely nuts to me, but i had no idea. thank you Caddicarus for all of the years of entertainment you have given me.

The Spyro colour cheats were always my favourite. I used to make up names and personalities for each different colour and have them talk to each other when I got bored. Once you've beaten the game 100% about 5 times, you tend to look for something new to spice things up a bit.

On the Colin McRae cheats, the best was missed off. The one which changes the voice of the co-driver to Colin McRae himself... yes... they got him to record all the lines for the co-driver in the game, but only allowed you to hear it through a cheat!
In spyro: Year if the dragon there is a code to access a crash bash demo. But if that wasn't good enough there is a code WITHIN the crash bash demo that allows you to access EVERY LEVEL IN THE GAME except the final warp room and even change the AI levels and see when the demo was created!
10:35 Actually, "Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal" (don't you just love that title?), which is an Insomniac game, had a demo for Sucker Punch's "Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves" that you could access from the main menu with a code. That was on the US PS2 version of "Ratchet & Clank 3", not sure if the PAL version had the demo.
It sure did. Ratchet and Clank were playing it on their TV in the intro, so it cleverly included the demo as part of the game's continuity. You weren't playing a different game, you were playing Ratchet while he played Sly!
I know that there was a game on PS2 called Zone of the Enders that had a demo of MGS2 on it, pretty neat stuff to see that it kept going past the PS1 generation of consoles.

My dad had the first (or second, I don't quite remember) Deer Hunter game for the PC. The cheats on there ranged from making the deer come right to you to turning them into giant deerzillas, but every time you entered in a code, the game would say, "Ahhhhh cheater" in this really accusatory tone, and stick a CHEAT tag on every trophy you bagged in that hunt. Good times, good times.
If I remeber correclly, Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal did something similiar to Crash Bandicoot 3. It had a special code, which unlocks Sly 2 demo.
Medal of Honor and MoH Underground had some really good cheats, like Civil War Mode, Wire Frame Mode, Ricochet Bullets, 4x Fire Rate, No Reload, Infinite Ammo, translating German soldiers to English with German accents, Podolski Mode (1 Shot Kill including to yourself), God Mode etc

Before my ps2 quit on me I did the riot cheat in GTA 3 and watched as chaos rained in Liberty City. The flying car cheat in Vice City wasn't as good as San Andreas, but was still so much fun to do and the drive on water cheat.
Come on bruh...Please... PS2 was not that long ago... I am 17 and my childhood console was PS2. The cheat that stuck in my mind was from GTA SA... Left Right L1 L2 R1 R2 Up Down Left Right... It was for jetpack I think...Also GTA 3 was my first GTA... Input "Peds have weapons" , "Peds Riot" and "Gore,limbs" code with no confirmation message, spawn a tank and enjoy the mayhem while sitting safely in your moving fortress XD

kaihedgie Ryu, Roy, and Lucas are DLC. Not charging for cheat codes lol. They weren't in the game and I'm fairly certain it wasn't leaked by a player.
In Ratchet and Clank 3 you can play a Sly 2 demo by holding down R1+R2+L1+L2 on the main menu screen.

The pause kills me every time. I've never heard a more fitting use of a momentary pause between words for comedic effect.
If I were to make a game with a password thing, one of the cheats you put in will make it so when the characters address you they'll call you a dirty hacker, and say stuff like, "How are you gonna defeat him when you can't even play the game without mashing buttons in the password screen?" or "oh yeah, you totally beat this on your own. Totally didn't look it up on the internet."

10:35 Actually, "Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal" (don't you just love that title?), which is an Insomniac game, had a demo for Sucker Punch's "Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves" that you could access from the main menu with a code. That was on the US PS2 version of "Ratchet & Clank 3", not sure if the PAL version had the demo.
It sure did. Ratchet and Clank were playing it on their TV in the intro, so it cleverly included the demo as part of the game's continuity. You weren't playing a different game, you were playing Ratchet while he played Sly!
I know that there was a game on PS2 called Zone of the Enders that had a demo of MGS2 on it, pretty neat stuff to see that it kept going past the PS1 generation of consoles.

My dad had the first (or second, I don't quite remember) Deer Hunter game for the PC. The cheats on there ranged from making the deer come right to you to turning them into giant deerzillas, but every time you entered in a code, the game would say, "Ahhhhh cheater" in this really accusatory tone, and stick a CHEAT tag on every trophy you bagged in that hunt. Good times, good times.
If I remeber correclly, Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal did something similiar to Crash Bandicoot 3. It had a special code, which unlocks Sly 2 demo.

Medal of Honor and MoH Underground had some really good cheats, like Civil War Mode, Wire Frame Mode, Ricochet Bullets, 4x Fire Rate, No Reload, Infinite Ammo, translating German soldiers to English with German accents, Podolski Mode (1 Shot Kill including to yourself), God Mode etc

***** I had so many codes memorized for the main 3 ps2 GTA games: GTA San Andreas had the best ones (seriously loved that immortality and Flying car cheat). Before my ps2 quit on me I did the riot cheat in GTA 3 and watched as chaos rained in Liberty City. The flying car cheat in Vice City wasn't as good as San Andreas, but was still so much fun to do and the drive on water cheat.
