This is my former guitar instructor Eric Wirsing as Alex Lifeson and his wife Julie as Geddy Lee, fantastic band, what a rhythm section!!! Fantastic band!!!
I've been a Rush fan since I was a kid. I've learned many many Rush songs (I am a drummer - no easy task!) and I like to play the songs exactly as the recording and that's what these guys do - Not many bands can do that, I can tell you. The best version I've ever heard of ANY Rush song.
I'm from a tiny burg just outside Lancaster and Neil and i were friends for the past 2 decades. We became friends in the late 90's thru the world of motorcyling. A day never goes by that i don't think of him and i can assure this band of several things: The drummer is highly skilled and passionate about his playing and music...and that this assemblage of musicians is phenomenal. The lady singer has an incredible voice. So glad that i stumbled upon this today by sheer happenstance. I'm certain Neil would have also found this flattering.
Refreshing to hear a singer who's not trying to imitate Geddy too much. She has great tone in my opinion to enhance the classics she sung. And the rest of the band is awesome as well.
Having a dedicated signer with this quality adds another dimension to the music that really enhances the power, emotion and story behind the lyrics. Great job!
Wow! Just came across this band and to say I am impressed is an understatement. You are ALL so freaking good, oh my gawd! I'll be taking in a LOT of your videos, for sure. Well done!
oh you guys knocked it out of the ballpark ! amazing everything! thanks for helping those 3 Canadians in their quest to have their music live on forever
The drummer doesn’t have any passion in his playing but DAMN IF SHE DOESN’T MAKE UP FOR IT!!! She lets the hammer down on this one! “and covers up his eyeeez”. Ohhhhhhh chills!
An amazing rendering. Takes me back four decades when I was a college student with my Fender Musicmaster bass and trying hard, without full success, to copy Geddy note for note. This album hadn't come out yet -- this was around the time of "Permanent Waves." Good times, and you brought them back to me.
@@solarfederation : I bet. I love the "Exit...Stage Left"" guitar sound you have. When Alex abandoned that sound after Signals, it bothered me. Anyhow, rock on.
Thank you Don! Much appreciated! I think the hardest solo for me are on "Working Man" and "The Necromancer". The "Analog Kid" solo is tricky but also fun. ~Eric
@@solarfederation you're welcome, been drumming since 71 so I know excellence when I see it, I would say this band is the best Rush cover band right now, you're all excellent, I'll keep tracking your dates, hopefully you will be around the Ct area at some point

Wow! What a nice complement. Thank you.
Excellent. I always look at the bass player and am reminded that Geddy was singing while playing those complicated syncopated basslines.
Yep! Geddy is a badass.
Great job on 1 of my top 3 favorite Rush songs!
Thank you!

I have a lot of passion. It just takes a lot of concentration. 😉
