There is an important lesson he learned though: we don't always have control of what happens to us. Sometimes it is the boys coming up with ideas that end up going wrong. Sometimes it's the fact that they live in a crazy and hellish town where the unexpected is always expected from us.
For me, Craig is one of the most autistic coded characters I've seen in a show ever, and thats partly because he really reminds me of my brother. His way of existing (especially how he deadpans) along with his monotone voice makes me believe he falls on the autism spectrum, and that would also explain a lot of things he does, at least for me
you should do a video like this on wendy! i think she's really underrated dispite how many appearances she's had and her up and down relationship with stan would fit well into this format :)

Isn't that kind of what happens to him once he becomes Tweek's bf? We get to see a more mature and happier side of him. We get to Craig and Tweek, the two characters who almost never smile, smile. :)
Watching Craig’s bleakness in speech and realistic approach is weirdly therapeutic, I have autism and share similar characteristics to him. I sometimes forget that I need to use my tone in speech, I can be overly aggressive when I don’t mean to be and I offend others when I really don’t mean to. It’s caused me to get sent out of class a lot when I was in school and having frequent arguments with friends and all that did was frustrate me followed by being labelled as an asshole. This isn’t a vent in any way, it’s just a way of me saying that I reflect on this whenever Craig is on screen and from the few episodes I’ve seen, his character is weirdly special to me and I can imagine a lot of others relating to what I’ve said as well

I really love your videos! It's great to see more detailed analysis of the characters, and you not shying away from calling them out sometimes. About Craig, I also wish his sarcastic side was shown more in the show. It is, however, shown again in the game fractured but whole, where he makes a lot of sarcastic comments during fights (he's lowkey mean to tweek), and really shines during the storyline in mephestos lab. One thing I wish more people pointed out about craig and tweeks relationship is that it isn't perfect, and in more recent stuff tweek is shown to be very attached and needy, and craig can be cold towards him. Sometimes it even feels like he forgot about everything he learned in put it down.

I looked up the episode timestamps on HBO-max on my phone so if the timestamps aren’t great I’m sorry but essentially within those episodes you can see, Craig mainly “runs” to his mother. /edit -o and I might be nitpicking, BUT in the Tweek vs Craig episode in the scene when Craig and his family are eating dinner and Craig starts talking about the fight he’s going to get into Craig’s Dad just brushes him off but his Mother jumps to defend him so if that counts?!

Cartman likes this especially since Cartman is a narcissist and usually people like people they have things in common with, with also that "opposites attract [like magnets]" philosophy about humans, kinda like mostly in the way how they're similar that they're rivals and usually try to one-up each other like in the episode "South Park Is Gay!", and you can obviously see Cartman's side of liking Craig in the episode "Tweek vs. Craig", obviously seeing Craig's potential as a fighter while also admiring his tough and stoic demeanor. His aloof, cynical, and nihilistic persona and/or personality.
