I feel like part of the metatext is that both Miguel and Miles have lessons to learn as the protagonists of their own stories. Miles does need to learn that he can't do both, that Spider-man doesn't always do both. But Miguel needs to learn that Spider-man always puts forward the best effort attempt to save everyone, even if he doesn't succeed. The point isn't succeeding. The point is caring. And not just caring in a broad text of "The fate of the multiverse" that makes the other Spider-mans brains die a little. Caring in the very real sense of RIPeter starting with "I want to save Manhattan, so I have to save the multiverse" and Miles' "I want to save dad, so I have to save the multiverse" Basically, it all comes down to love. Our traditional understanding of Spider-man is founded in tragedy, yes, but that tragedy is rooted in love. Peter loved his aunt and uncle deeply, and through an ironic twist lost one of them through his own selfishness. The lesson was that you have to protect people you don't know like you would your loved ones because we're all interconnected. Meanwhile, Miles has that loving environment. It's not tragedy that makes the spider-man. It's the love his expresses and exhibits. This love is also what roots his tragedies. That's what life is. No one lives a life without tragedy. Spider-man experiences tragedies because he is human, because even when you do your very best to do everything exactly as you think they should be done, you will still lose people through accidental deaths, senseless deaths, breakups, fallings out, the slow decay of time after you both move to different cities. It would be strange for Spider-man to not have these tragedies, but they need not be inflicted on him by the spider-society for him to feel this gravity and to do the good he does. That's, I think, where Pavitr fits in. He didn't lose police inspector, Singh, no, but he still felt the weight of that potential loss. That near miss made him a better Spider-man, one who will take things a little more seriously going forward.
I love this Miguel is like the old ways of viewing who spiderman is and Miles is a newer version of it. Ive always wonder why does Spiderman HAVE to have such a unhappy ending. A part of it is cause they writers and audience love seeing the characyers struggle but at the same time I feel like they love seeing a character in dispair a lot more because we can connect with them. 9:57, The specific theme of acceptance and rejection definitely works to connect all the characters and plot lines together, and not just with the primary protagonists in Miles and Gwen, but also the primary antagonists in Miguel and Spot. Miguel first stayed in another reality too long because he felt he could only have a life and a family there, wether correctly or otherwise, but his attempts to find belonging and happiness only ended up costing the destruction that entire reality and everyone in it, hence his determination to maintain order at all costs, sacrificing any further search for happiness and targeting anything or anyone that threatens to repeat his mistakes. Spot’s motivation for being a supervillain is purely based on the desire for validation of his suffering after losing his form and previous life to his condition and being rejected by his family and peers and though he comes to embrace it due to his growing abilities, he simply uses it and his obsession with being Miles’ nemesis as a crutch to cope with his loss, a loss he wants Miles to share in. Meanwhile, Miles and Hobie, and by extension Gwen’s “band”, each are able to embrace their own identities without fear of rejection from others (though in Miles’ case, he may have more to go as he faces the consequences of the anomaly that deprived another Miles the fate of being Spiderman and doomed his reality to being infested with crime). But the fact that “canon” is valued so heavily means that there is a limit as to how far any of these people can diverge from their stories before their realities disintegrate, before their stories become unrecognizable and stop “mattering”. That would mean the Miles likely won’t be able to save his father outright and would need a “technicality”, just as Gwen’s father quitting being a police captain supposedly saved him from dying. It is possible to change these stories, but not without preserving what gives them value, what makes the journey and struggle worth the destination.

I do think it's ridiculous that two people in the same universe could develop an almost identical, positive mutation as a result of ionising radiation. Ionising radiation causes random mutations to DNA, usually resulting in cancer. However, in the world of Spiderman, it's not that unbelievable that the mutations could result in spider powers. The odds are low, but it's possible. (Obviously it's not possible to gain premonition as a result of any genetic mutation, but Spiderman's other powers like swinging and super strength could potentially be replicated in the real world with careful genetic modification. Or just firing beta radiation at someone and getting extremely lucky.) But the odds of it happening twice are practically nonexistent. It's impossible. Although, with multiverse stories, stuff happening against near-impossible odds can be brushed away with "There are septillions of universes in existence, and we chose to show you the only one where this happened because the others just aren't that interesting."
I hear comic Miles is boring though and the fans think the writers are trying to replace Peter with him, so I don't see the racism angle so much as bad writer intentions.

Concerning the canon as tropes, I think there's something to be said about the nuance of the story in that tropes CAN be helpful. Miguel's story where he subverted a trope only for his entire world, his entire narrative to fall to pieces, that CAN happen. Tropes exist for a reason, the best tropes work, they can be great devices and just like anything else can be the thing that if missing will cause a story to crumble. And yet when tropes become not a tool, but a comfort, a place to retreat to and refuse to diverge from, you don't get new stories and each successive one just becomes worse and worse and worse because you've already seen it before. When you can't unstick yourself from all that is familiar to you, you can't grow or change. Which where Miles comes in, because he is like the black Spider-Man. People actually got mad about this. That wasn't Spider-Man, he's supposed to be whi-.... uhhh... Peter Parker. Even if you take the worst reactions to it, racism is just that: An aversion to the unfamiliar, the different. Fundamentally the same thing that goes on in the mind of the comic fan who gets mad whenever they get something new. What goes through the minds of corporate executives who want to see money and decide that doing the thing you did last time is how to get it. It's the sort of thing that the people in charge of the Comics Code Authority were thinking. The same Comics Code Authority that both Spiderverse movies decided to stamp the start of their movies with in ironic fashion.
@@lainiwakura1776 I don't think it's irrelevant in the initial conversation. if you bring up racism in contexts where it doesn't matter, yeah that's not great. but this matters for the context
Every time I watch your videos, I cannot believe that you don't have more subscribers. The way you bring everything to life, the way you deliver your lines, the editing, it's all so amazing. I can't wait until more people find you and you are shown how great of an essayist you are.
Once I saw that iconic thumbnail with one word to encapsulate the video essay, I knew this would be a good watch. The movie was such a great experience in the movie theater and I can't wait to see how this whole trilogy will be wrapped up!
spiderman and this movie changed many things, it changed the animation industry for the better, it changed the reputation of many multiverse flims, and most importantally of all, it changes lives
One of the most important themes in this movie is control. All of the characters exhibit their thoughts on control and have things happen to them because of control. Miles became spiderman out of his control but when he seemingly starts to control his ability to be capable and bold as spiderman, he starts to lose focus on his normal life causing his parents to assert their dominance over him so that he can get things in "control". Going from the first movie we already know that he struggled with the feeling of responsibility and how it weighed him down, this film adds more weight onto him by having his parents expect him to be a good student and son in their own perspective. Miguel then shows up telling him that he's a mistake and that everything he ever worked for was inauthentic and he was at fault for Peter's death... All of this control and lack of control that was thrown at him is what causes him to say the iconic "Nah imma do my own thing"
Gwen was explored deeply in this film. We get to see her dynamic and her lack of "control" over what occurred in her life with the loss of Peter and her father pinning her as the primary suspect. She joins the spider society as a jobber doing things and it isn't until she gets back home that she and her dad have that heart to heart. In her dad's pursuit of doing what was right, he forget about his other more important job which was to care and to nurture his daughter. After he releases that false sense of control and justice, he then finally resonates with her and they make up. PS. There's more to discuss about control with gwen as she accepts the fact that things happen out of their control as a means to cause Miles to not save the inspector in Pravitar's universe but she then realises that the major difference between her and Miles' Canon event is that she tried to save Peter whereas they want him to allow his father to just die.
Miguel is the epitome of control in this film. From his assumption of leadership over the whole spider society to his aggression, we find out a lot about himself. He is bent on order due to his mistake that led to the destruction of a universe. There isn't much else to say about him as we don't really spend much time with him but that's it. Moving on to Hobie, he's a rebel through and through and all of his monologues and one liners all involve rebelling or being against controlling powers. He is quite literally the only reason Miles escaped in the first place.
Huge fan of your essays. And the way you handled this particular video has only solidified that further. I love how you've broken down one of my favorite movies this year, and the way you've described the angles and interpretations was fantastic. A wonderful reminder of why I loved the writing in this movie so much, and how, to me, it surpasses the first one in quality. I look forward to what you cover next.
It feels like I have stumbled upon a gold mine of great and masterful content. You have made video essays that have truly touched me and have left feeling that I missed a new angle in a story. You remind of a RUclips channel called “every frame a painting” where they also made top tier content about movies and whatnot. Please never stop what you do. You are one of the best in RUclips.
Into the spider verse and across the spider verse and two of my most favorite movies ever made. I was absolutely blown away by across the spider verse when I first saw it. I still think deeply about those movies and I really hope the third movie is even better and makes this trilogy go down as one of the best in film history. I know I will come back to it a lot when I start writing my stories.
Ah yes, my regualarly mandated 'Crying to a StoryStreet video' session. You tru;y have an incredible way with words. Thank you for everything you do and who you are to create this art for us
Just another homerun, you've very quickly become one of my favorite writers and media analysts. The first time it swapped between the different layers i couldn't help but smile. The charm and personality you put into your videos never fails to get that warm and fuzzy response, fantastic job and I can't wait to see what you do next.
the identity/race/gender allegory stood out to me first bc im not a teenager anymore, im a black queer adult now. Rio's speech about being told we don't belong somewhere/not taken seriously/discriminated against is very common to black/brown experiences, specifically having to get a speech from our parents sometime in our lives about racism. ther'es also the confirmed allegory about people not wanting miles to be called spiderman bc of his race. navigating life as spiderman can be seen as a general allegory for being stealth/being in the closet but especially with gwen's speech that also had word choices very similar to being queer along with the trans flag in her room and the trans colors
I found you nearly two hours ago with the Kung Fu Panda video, and you are instantly in my top 3 favorite content creators of all time. Good shit my guy, keep it up.
It is not often that I press the like button on a video. It is even less often that I comment, and exceptional that I add a video to my playlist of special, wonderful and impactful videos... But this video, this video has earned all three. Thank you for this thorough analysis. It was just as impactful and joyful to watch as the movie itself. Keep up your great work, and I hope the rest of your day, your year, your life treats you well.
I disagree about Gwen’s dad’s motivation for trying to arrest her. I don’t think he chose duty over his love for his daughter, instead he put all of his faith in a system meant to distinguish the innocent from the guilty. He thought that if Gwen goes on the run, she won’t get the opportunity to clear her name. If he arrests her, her innocence will be exposed because that’s what the system is meant to do.
Everyone here must have surely told you how cleverly you structured this video and they are right. But for me, this is one of the most important pieces you've ever made. For an aspiring storyteller like myself, this is a VERY IMPORTANT reminder to never forget the people. As clever and engaging as our themes are, the characters are what make it all stand and fall. I'm so grateful for all your work, but I have to thank you especially for this video. It matters to me greatly, even if it's but one tiny piece of the blurry picture that is the internet.
Several times during my viewing of this movie, I found myself absolutely awestruck by how gorgeous it is. The way certain moments wrap you in colorful softness and gentle themes is something I’ve never experienced.
maybe its me but i think when we get the love we always been longing from someone, for few minutes everything around us just doesnt matter that gwen dad hug scene thats what i understood
Hey man, I just wanted to let you know how much I have been enjoying your videos lately. I have gone back and watched several of them now and I really appreciate the effort you put into them. The way that you talk about the source material is very thought provoking and interesting. Also I really hope that the Last of Us Part 2 video is still in the works, as I also really enjoyed the game and your other videos on the series are really spectacular. Please dont stop anytime soon and thank you for the great content!
I love across the Spider-verse it was freaking fantastic and also a bonus seeing my favorite character mayday parker spider-girl from the comics finally adapted into animation made me so happy that I am very excited to see more of her in the future, especially seeing more of her even as a baby mayday parker the future spider-girl helping out her dad fight against the spot and saving there best friend Miles Morales Spider-Man from the prowler is going to be really awesome and badass in my opinion.
good video man, almost brought me to tears. format was amazing and well thought out. I like how I can tell you put work into the theatrics of this video.
saw this in theaters 4 times 1 including 4D what an experience best movie of 2023 everything was perfect even if the ending felt like a bad heart break and getting blue balled all at the same time. GG sony GG
I feel like like I watched the movie all over again. Something about the way you write, way you present point to point is so…potent. I can just feel the impact of the words your saying so vividly. I don’t really have anything of super high value to add to this video, but…amazing work. This video really stands to represent what this movie truly is, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Not in this universe.
i also see "a lot but also a little" in terms of the animation. it can go so fast with so much movement, but they do not miss a beat when it comes to micro expressions/gestures and using as little movement as possible to express the most significant emotions or personality. they pay attention to how every single muscle would move in ways that are very individual to the characters and successfully do this with so many at that. i enjoy the way you said intimate and personal, when a character is important, this team doesnt just want them to have their own importance in the story but they work very very hard to make sure theyre all seen as individuals we can connect to in an unprecedentedly detailed way. This brings me to another contradiction I enjoy where it practices realism while also doing the exact opposite. theres a very impactful and addicting mixture of this and theyre cearly very purposeful with each one instead of lazily trying to fulfill some quota for making a Good Movie
Honestly man, you're one of the best video essayist(?) ive seen (and heard). They way you just make a story with just a simple essay, with the emotions and its own twists too 😭 ❤
The first video of yours I saw was Batman and it made me cry actual tears. This one moved me in ways and levels I'm not sure you really intended to. But it still touched me in a very personal sense because I can sense your empathy, kindness and your willingness to connect. I don't know you but I like how you think and what you're trying to do. You're a net positive in the vast world and the internet and the space of creation/art.
I’m glad that Rio doesn’t undermine or commands Jeff in a nagging or condescending manner like most wives, she respects him and actually cares his job and reputation and himself
Hope you make a video on Spider-man 2 for the PlayStation. Been really enjoying these and very curious about your analysis and thoughts on it. Much love ❤ God bless
And what’s so crazy about this canon events thing is that Peter is okay with all of this! And when Miles asked him if he would’ve turned away if he knew about his death, and he replied with,”if not for Uncle Ben, most of us wouldn’t be here Miles.” Yeah he only died because of a stupid, selfish decision that you made, and now you’re doing it again. Ben would be ashamed.
I think people like Rio is because shes a mom. As much as we dont like our parents being in our business or so involved in pur lifes at a certain point, we know they do care. And this is me thiking on it from a adults perspective; I know parents have it hard when their kids become independent. They become walking contradictions while trying their best not to. At the same time their experience and slight know it all point of view shines more and so at times causes a rift and makes them more stren than necessary. Rio reminds me of my own mom and how I try to keep a distincnt line but because there really wasnt one to begin with it becomes a weird dancenof telling her to trust that ill tell her what she needs to and not tell her what I dint want her to know even if all I wanna do is cry and complain to her. At a certian point we can all connect to Miles because of that and the responsibilities he has but still wanting to connect with his faimily even at times when he has to break promises because they collide and ine HAS to be more important than the other. Just like most peoples parents, to Rio family is more important, as even though I agree with that emotionally, logically thats not possible and its heartbreaking when you have to disappoint them.
Interpretive complexity and thematic depth: 🎨 "Across the Spiderverse is undeniably ambitious in its craft and a sheer technical achievement, packed with pure cinematic energy running from scene to scene and moment to moment with the frenetic speed of a bullet." 🌌 "The stakes are potentially Universe ending but they are also intensely personal. It is a movie that feels so large and yet so small simultaneously." 🎭 There are many different interpretive levels and lenses by which to understand the film, leading to a vastness of complexity and different ways of viewing it. 🌌 The Multiverse is in danger of losing its constants, known as the cannon, and Miles is seen as the reason for this, adding a layer of complexity to the storyline. 🤯 Depending on your focus, preferences, and interests, there is so much to think about, so much to take in and discover in Across the Spiderverse. 🎬 The allegorical lens is the most important for exploring the thematics of the film, connecting the literal narrative to our reality. 🎬 "The most important lens and the only one really worth exploring is the third one, metatextual because a metatextual reading will allow us the broadest interpretation across the spiderverse." 🌉 We remember the few times Spider-Man didn't save someone, highlighting the sacrifice and dedication of the character. 🌈 "Across the Spiderverse works because it remembers them, it works not because of all the colours and the music and all of its technical Marvels. It works because those things only matter as much as the people." Impact of identity and societal systems: 🕷 The Spider-Man identity can represent any secret, from small embarrassments to major fears of rejection based on sexuality or political beliefs, reflecting the fear of not being understood or accepted. 🌍 The systems and people that maintain them have a great impact on a teenager's identity formation, shaping their understanding of the world and their place in it. 🌍 The allegorical interpretation of Across the Spiderverse highlights the impact of systems on teenagers' identity formation and belief systems. 📚 The Spider Society began as a reaction to different people showing up in Dimensions, disrupting the canon, but who's to say that wasn't what was supposed to happen?
I think most screenwriters, directors and editors are aware that Characters are important, and that plot and the rest comes 2nd. Just because the spiderverse movies are amazing at being efficient and doing more with less screentime, doesn't mean that other movie makers aren't trying.
It’s a beautiful film of coming out to parents, the way they except that, parents realising their children need to grow up as well and it’s also about you asking yourself the question “why does life have to be this way? Can it be changed” Miles is doing something I’ve never seen a Spider-Man do, he is trying to prevent the tragedy that makes him Spider-Man. Is Spider-Man based on tragedy or based on a pure heart within? Both sides are shown here. I think the third film will show all this. I think we see the other Gwen’s. The butterfly effects of life with Earth 42 Miles. We see that Gwen doesn’t want to fall in love because her falling in love with Spider-Man and then dying is a cannon event in her eyes. I think we could also see Spider-Man India loose his world and maybe step up to be the Spider-Man in Earth 42. The Spider-Man without a world stepping up in a world without a Spider-Man. I would have loved to see Yu I believe is how you spell his name from Spider-Man Fake Red. I have the manga but haven’t read it yet but what I know is he is from an earth where Peter goes missing (and becomes Venom) and he finds the Spider-Man costume and just, becomes Spider-Man. Great Power isn’t the fact he has spider powers, his power is his bravery and hope to do good and his responsibility is putting that to use. That character would be fantastic to see in a Spider-Verse film
I think Miguel was going to recruit Miles after he learned about everything and if Miles accepted it. Why wouldn’t he just send him home and tell everyone in the Spider Society that they cannot go to 1610 unless needed and it can’t be someone Miles knows. Even when Miles was starting to argue Miguel still tried to explain it to him hoping that he would agree. Only til he realized that Miles was just too stubborn did he lock him up.
My two hopes for the finale:
1. It doesn't get cancelled.
2. Sony treats its artists better.
Why would it get cancelled?
I agree
Because of number 2 not happening @@TheMrblessed
Why is everyone talking about Sony cancelling something? Has it happened in past?
@@TheMrblessedWorking conditions are AWFUL for the animators. Really, it goes hand-in-hand with the second one

But you're the one bringing up racism.
@@lainiwakura1776 so?….
@@lainiwakura1776 I don't think it's irrelevant in the initial conversation. if you bring up racism in contexts where it doesn't matter, yeah that's not great. but this matters for the context
Dude I swear. I'll like 'like' a movie, but then I watch your video essay on it, and then duuude, the chills man. Awesome job as always.

Every time I watch your videos, I cannot believe that you don't have more subscribers. The way you bring everything to life, the way you deliver your lines, the editing, it's all so amazing. I can't wait until more people find you and you are shown how great of an essayist you are.
I remember in the theater i was like "man... this is like the longest second Act ive ever seen, boy im sure loving this movi-" |To Be Continued| "-oh"
This video has transcended the concept of mere analysis and I'm here completely immersed in this soul enlightening experience... thank you
I haven't even SEEN THE MOVIE & I learned a LOT !
25:12 So basically Miles Morales is a multiversal fanfiction writer? Dope.
Also great video. So glad I subscribed to you.
I love the way you write and tell your story and feelings about a movie, they always feel so friendly and its just perfection. Love your content
If that's the case, why didn't he explain that to her when she returned?
@@me-myself-i787 I don’t know, maybe by that time it didn’t matter? Of course I could be wrong, it’s just an interpretation.
@@Mr_Case_Time That makes sense. She was gone for a long time.
This video is amazing!! I can’t express how creative this was and it shows how you understand Across the SpiderVerse!!!
Damn this is such a good way of understanding this movie.
maybe its me but i think when we get the love we always been longing from someone, for few minutes everything around us just doesnt matter
that gwen dad hug scene thats what i understood
Thank you for making this piece of art. Though I cannot see it through your eyes, mine are teary and fulfilled.
After the first glitch in this video I was then watching the rest with a smile on my face. Brilliant story telling.
I loved the quote in Tobey Maguires spider man. "No matter what in the end the ones I love are always the ones who pay."
Fantastic video man! Very well done
Damn StoryStreet, your videos just keep improving. You are amazing dude. Thanks
I love across the Spider-verse it was freaking fantastic and also a bonus seeing my favorite character mayday parker spider-girl from the comics finally adapted into animation made me so happy that I am very excited to see more of her in the future, especially seeing more of her even as a baby mayday parker the future spider-girl helping out her dad fight against the spot and saving there best friend Miles Morales Spider-Man from the prowler is going to be really awesome and badass in my opinion.
great intro, your're 100% bang on
good video man, almost brought me to tears. format was amazing and well thought out. I like how I can tell you put work into the theatrics of this video.
It is always a pleasure to listen to your video essays, bang on job.
That's why it's called an origin story: so that you have more time to explore all the figures in the next chapter.
The first time it repeated, I was making my bed. I was confused to be sure, but then the second time I was like holy sh… this guy is a genius

The Duology Is Masterpiece As A Animation Movie
After that first glitch and it repeated I was like... "Clever guy" hoping you'd do the next one. You did not disappoint. Just Spidertastic!
I love it. Doing justice to the original material by putting the different parts together in this way is very clever - and entertaining. Chapeau!
I loved this format. Such a cool and in-universe structure.
You have such a way of telling stories abd giving perspectivr yourself. The editing, the writing and how you deliver the words is outstanding to me.
I’m glad that Rio doesn’t undermine or commands Jeff in a nagging or condescending manner like most wives, she respects him and actually cares his job and reputation and himself
Amazing video essay as always 👏🏼
Hope you make a video on Spider-man 2 for the PlayStation. Been really enjoying these and very curious about your analysis and thoughts on it. Much love ❤ God bless
This video was the best review I've seen on Spiderman Across the Spiderverse. Well Done man.
This was a fantastic analysis!! And you mentioned the deviation of Gwen’s universe now that her pops has resigned.
this is the first analytical video of atsv that managed to make me cry lol
Structure of the vid paralleling the structure of the first movie, beautifully done 🤌🏽
Ben would be ashamed.
this might just be the best video essay i have ever seen wth
this must ve taken forever i applaud the work you put in
Into the spider verse was about anyone can wear the mask, but Across the Spider-verse shows us how your wear it that what matters
I love this channel! Every time I get a notification I’m super excited to watch the latest video.
Been waiting to watch this since I saw it in theaters, great work
Huh weird a glitch happened and I saw the same video 3 times
That time anomaly thing you did was clever.
As this video ended I just wanted to subscribe to you all over again. Thank you for this.
MORE is exactly what I thought after seeing this movie .
NOW THATS A VIDEO ESSAY. HOLY HELL❤
Interpretive complexity and thematic depth:
🎨 "Across the Spiderverse is undeniably ambitious in its craft and a sheer technical achievement, packed with pure cinematic energy running from scene to scene and moment to moment with the frenetic speed of a bullet."
🌌 "The stakes are potentially Universe ending but they are also intensely personal. It is a movie that feels so large and yet so small simultaneously."
🎭 There are many different interpretive levels and lenses by which to understand the film, leading to a vastness of complexity and different ways of viewing it.
🎬 "The most important lens and the only one really worth exploring is the third one, metatextual because a metatextual reading will allow us the broadest interpretation across the spiderverse."
🌉 We remember the few times Spider-Man didn't save someone, highlighting the sacrifice and dedication of the character.
🌈 "Across the Spiderverse works because it remembers them, it works not because of all the colours and the music and all of its technical Marvels. It works because those things only matter as much as the people."
Impact of identity and societal systems:
🕷 The Spider-Man identity can represent any secret, from small embarrassments to major fears of rejection based on sexuality or political beliefs, reflecting the fear of not being understood or accepted.
2022 Everything Everywhere All At Once
2023 Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse
Damn this video was worth the wait! Keep up the great work!
I think most screenwriters, directors and editors are aware that Characters are important, and that plot and the rest comes 2nd. Just because the spiderverse movies are amazing at being efficient and doing more with less screentime, doesn't mean that other movie makers aren't trying.
This video just make me love this movie even more😁👍
I love this movie so much.
Another banger video!!
It’s a beautiful film of coming out to parents, the way they except that, parents realising their children need to grow up as well and it’s also about you asking yourself the question “why does life have to be this way? Can it be changed”
Miles is doing something I’ve never seen a Spider-Man do, he is trying to prevent the tragedy that makes him Spider-Man.
Only til he realized that Miles was just too stubborn did he lock him up.
this is hy cross the spiderverse is my favorite spiderman film it challenges what you believe and want also to keep going towards what you want
