Alex this gilcortez. I was with Tiempo Productions/Chicano Productions. We put that event together. The Latin Jam Music Festival. I might have the entire concert somewhere. I'll see about finding converting it and downloading in RUclips. Thanks for posting this. We chose Josefa as one of our acts because of their great musical talent. May your brother rest in peace.
I have to repeat what I've been reading in these posts, I have always looked for Josefa videos and had never found anything. They were always my favorite band and whenever someone would request a dedication to me on a radio station I would tell them to ask for Porque Te Vas by Josefa. For the sole purpose of being able to hear that song. My dad played with Joe with Los Pablos way back when. He was a great vocalist. May he RIP
Ain't no Tejano music like old school tejano orquesta . I grew up trying to do all their cover music. these cats were the shits back in my days. Lupio AkA La Guera del Aguilon
This was one of my favorite bands the lalaine bro's getting it.I jammed to in the 80's as a kid!!! I would play along with my drums and learn other chops from the drummer. Joe always had a great tone and a great voice. After this they rested the horn section for a few years and went to the keyboards. Josefa was awesome. Know the great Aviso from H-town R.I.P Joe
One of the best orquesta bands of the 80's. I was wondering where they were. My sincerest condolences to all the Fuentes family for the loss of their loved one. He is and forever be Josefa great singer and band. I grew up with this awesome Tejano music back in the day.
First and Foremost. No disrespect to anyone. I've been listening to Tejano music 60th, 70th to present. Don't remember this vatos. Wow. They sound great, no doubt. How long have they been on stage. Is there anyone out there with a response. For sure, they can jam bilingual . Sorry if I offended anyone. That sounds good. My condolences to the families who lost a loved one of this orchestra.
