One more thing as a seasoned psychologist his lack of understanding about why sexual assault victim sometimes take YEARS to call out their predators is baffling to me. From 8-15 I was a victim. I told my mom when I was 17 and the world when I published my memoir in 2021 ( I was 32 when I released my book) sometimes ppl need to heal first, the fear of not being believed, some people try to forget it but realize the trauma is hindering their adult life and they need to revisit it to fix it and move on that was totally insensitive on his part and very unexpected.
I think you missed the point he was trying to make: I believe he, respecting the white power structure that is after successful black people and their money, tried to hammer home the fact that this only happened once she was with her white husband and was quick to accept the money without seeing to it that the perpetrator received far more punishment than just parting with his money.

1:55:44 - he's 1000% right. When I went to child support court, the court was full of men and women, women were being represented by the state basically and none of the men were represented by anyone except me. I was literally the only person in court with a lawyer.

I'm far from racist but I'm looking at things from all different angles.I can understand where he us coming from. Em is a part of hiphop. But he went off on mgk just because he called his daughter pretty.He didn't think it was funny.So to make a joke about having a shot at her feet which he was saying feature.Alot of people thought it wasn't funny cause it wasn't. If the shoe was on the other foot he wouldn't take it lightly. Some things are cool & some things are just not.Alot of hip hop fans say he is hip hop but I would bet they are not the ones who bought his CDs. They are Caucasians.At his concerts they are 95% Caucasians.

I truly at age 61 fully understand how successful celebrities, athletes, business rich will never defend injustice against anything-it is harder for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle than rich entering Paradise...go sell all you have! I have to trust God of my understanding to restore me to awakened consciousness best suited for me. Yes, I desire to help youth, young adults most because I will need them to help protect babies under them! Let's focus on our youth, children and see if we can raise an honorable army of decently loving respectful caring elderly and children watchful...villages of society. #ineedyou

Really good point, but I wish Dr Umar would preach less and communicate more. His style makes it very hard to get to real substance, even if his essential persona is undeniably valid.

Spiritual Laziness!
Nearly 25 years ago, I went to a couple of Catholic Mass services with a friend, and I was amazed that only 1/3 to 1/2 of the parishioners fell asleep, because the majority of the service was in Latin, and other languages, that I’m 100% certain no one but the priest spoke and it was mostly ritualistic, repeating the same things every service.
