No reviewers think full recline front seats are noteworthy on 2023 Ranger XLT . That's OK. People seems to LOVE tires and wheels
Two things to add. That infotainment screen is real bright at night, but it can be changed to blue and reduce brightness which really helps at night. But it's much better turning off the screen from settings.
Also, there's hidden storage under the rear seats.
I have a 2019 xlt. Not much difference. I agree...the power is awesome. You didn't do off road but it's great for that too.
I'd gonna buy this vehicle someday friend.
same
I have a 2023 with 5000 kilometers already 2 visits to the dealer for differential noise and bad vibration and still the same
Buyers remorse
Sorry to hear that. 😩😩
Yeah I have taken mine into the dealer many times. But (knock on wood) I think all the bugs are worked out. Now I've added the ford tune plus new intercooler and turbo pipes. It has so much get up and go now. And after doing the ford tune and put amsoil transmission fluid in it, the shifts are buttery now
Have you fixed the differential noise?
Hello, you are vervy nice presentator. Thank
That my dream truck
Yeah, love the blue!
The fuel door just opens from outside? How is that safe? All of my cars have had fuel door releases inside.
It locks when you lock the doors.
Best thing ever honestly. You have to push it quite hard to open it. Plus the no cap is awesome. Super quick to fuel up definitely with touch to pay
Very nice but old fashion headlights why not full l. E.D front lights for 40 grand
🤷🏾♂️😬
"old fashion" headlights are much easier and cheaper to fix. Just wait until you get water in the headlamps and it shorts out the bulb, ballast, and blows fuses. You won't want expensive headlamps then.
Don't need LED. But you can probably add in the aftermarket.
What is the MSRP for that trim level?
Around $40-$45k

Appears to me the Ford Ranger, interior appearance wise, is not that fancy as the other mid-size trucks. And for $39,500+ not comparable to other models. Excellent Review.
"Not comparable"? Really? As compared to all the other mid-sized trucks on the market, the Ranger boasts: best in class fuel mileage, best in class torque, best in class towing capacity, and best in class payload. Care to revise your statement?
@@gregh2880 I went from a 2012 Taco TRD off road to a 2020 Ranger Lariat FX4 and it isn;'t even close how much better the Ranger is. MUCH better gas mileage. Also I live in Wyoming and when driving at elevation the power stays solid with the turbo as opposed to NA engine losing power. Most important I am 6'3 and I actually fit comfortably in the Ranger.
If you have vision problems you definitely need glasses to read the gages and entertainment center.
2024 has new interior, completely new suspension and other upgrades for about the same price. you're a sucker if you buy a '23. unless you want a 6 foot bed supercab. later on 24 you can get a 6 cylinder and supercab but who knows when in this environment
We had a better Ranger now in country not this outgoing model huhu
I have no idea what you’re talking about with the ride quality of the Ranger versus a Colorado/Canyon. I’ve driven both the Ford and the GM twins and BY FAR the GM’s have better handling and ride dynamics compared to the Ranger, which is floaty at highway speeds and has pretty noticeable body roll in the corners compared to a Colorado or Frontier. Also, it may be quick off the line but the Ford runs out of steam pretty quickly. A 2WD 3.6l Colorado will still keep up zero-60 and with more HP and better power to weight will pull away after that. You just don’t have all that low end torque like the Ranger does, so you got to really punch it and ring out all 300 plus horses into the 6000 plus rpm range from a dig, but you can roast the tires pretty easily if you do.
No. The Ranger does not run out of steam fairly quickly. In fact. It keeps building. And if that's not quick enough for you, Ford sells a chip that gives you 50 more hp without voiding the factory warrantee.
@@Anthony-ll4nh The torque curve with a turbocharged engine is not linear. It peaks lower in the rev range and drops off earlier than it does in a naturally aspirated engine where the torque doesn’t even peak until after 4500-5000 rpm or higher. The Ranger doesn’t “keep building”. It can’t because it’s limited to how much turbo spool there is within a limited rpm range. The Ranger has more torque than the Canyon at lower rpm’s. So it jumps off the line a little faster. That’s when the Canyon’s V6 “keeps building” toward top end.
@@nelsonvanvickle8862 I haven't driven a Canyon, to be honest, but I do own a 23 Ranger, and the acceleration does keep building, the longer you stay in it. Of course, this has nothing to do with the RPM because while it's building, the transmission is shifting to keep the engine in the meaty portion of its torque curve. And it has 10 speeds to work with. So yes, the acceleration keeps building; it doesn't drop off and go weak like you're describing. Also, if you want more, you can get most of the Camaro-version's power with a dealer-installed mod that improves the boost. I just felt that your description of the Ranger's power was a little off.
Why separate the climate controls into both the infotainment touchscreen trash AND a few buttons below? Such a bad design.
Because some of us old timers don't like to use the new modern infotainment screens.
Renger is good truck
