This country needs many more Sheldon Whitehouse’s in government! Section 4 of Amendment 14 states in part: “ The validity of the public debt of the United States…shall not be questioned.” The bottom line, Congress is required by the Constitution to pay the bills! As that is the case, there shouldn’t even be a motion or a debate! This needs to happen automatically without “permission”, especially from a MAGA House!
