It's my childhood, I got bad in heart when they did VOICE to sackboy. I want lbp4 be good, I want it be a lot near to lbp3 and 2, and 1. Lit remember when me, and my brother was playing on our broke joysticks, on ps3.
I want a new LBP game so bad. Gaming now just hasn’t felt right to me because LBP was like a core game series for me. I miss going online with friends to play community levels and creating levels. LBP3 killed the series for me and I tried playing it again after the problems were “fixed” but it didn’t feel right. I felt bored with the game and I tried playing it for a long time like I did with LBP1&2 but I couldn’t play it for more then 30 minutes. If LBP4 ever gets made and it’s given the time, effort, and love of creativity (and not rushed like LBP3). I would be more than happy to give this series another shot.
@@LetGoMyLegosTyler I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt like that. I hope soon we can get LBP4 and hopefully it resparks my interest in the series and revives the franchises.
If a 4th game came out, I think it should have the option to make your level 3D or the classic style before you start making it. It also needs to take certain tools that only exist in certain DLCs that are no longer available, and put them in the base game.

I'm hoping that they bring back DLC mechanics into the base game (floaty fluid, attract-o-gel, walljumping, ect.) like how they did with plasma and the memorizer. I'm not sure if it would bring about copyright issues, but it would be really neat to be able to use them after their DLCs were made unavailable.
I know for some reason on LBP3 attract-o-gel lost it's DLC property, and you can use it as a collected object (or someone who has a level with the material giveaway) The tweaker is still DLC, but material itself isn't.
It would be interesting if they could remaster the older DLC kits as well. I loved (and still love) playing the Creator Kit, but I remember seeing lots of people showing plenty of dislike for it, which is understandable. I never needed that much entertainment to be hooked, so I just kinda abused the airborne Queen in the jet pack level and tried to climb the displays in the Global Lighting Tweaker level. For hours. Honestly i think saba was just a mistake, they thought about how much fun it was back in the days so they tried to revive it but didnt exactly know what made it popular in the old games, so they probably just toyed around with features from that game and came to a conclusion that it was the cute lovable little sack doll main character. So they developed it around that, but probably now they have realised that it wasnt just sackboy, so if there ever will be another in the same universe game, it would probably be a spinoff of lbp or just a new lbp game entirely.

Good video But I think you missed an important thing that really made LBP1 and LBP2 special : the ambience, the artistic direction. Even if I think lbp3 and SABA were good games, I think Sumo Digital didn't really understand the LBP universe and its "feeling" that made LBP games so specials. There was a real 'DIY' aspect in the games, and you can really find that in LBP Karting, the antagonists in that game are really good by the way. I think that SABA has good gameplay, but the artistic direction doesn't represent at all what I liked in LBP. All the character designs are generic and similar with ugly childish eyes... I would also add something important : the musics in LBP games are very important to me. Sometimes I would spend my days in front of my console just to listen to the LBP OST in creative mode: they had a very varied and unknown music gallery, which made me discover many artists and genres, which went well with the hyper-varied gumball atmosphere of the games. In SABA, what kind of music do we have for example... Let's Dance by David Bowie. /: I love David Bowie, I love that song, but seriously guys, couldn't you have chosen some less-known, more 'indie' music? If there were a new LBP game with a story mode, I hope we'll have a completely different and more mature storyline than SABA's. Something that truly embodies the morals and spirit of LBP: collecting, creating, sharing. I've always loved the intros of LBP with real people dreaming; there's something very meta and poetic about it for a story.
If LBP4 exists then that would be amazing but unfortunately Sackboy a big adventure exists which was such a disappointment with no create mode. Its like buying LBP but only getting the story mode and sadly this spinoff series seems like the path that Sony is going down.
If they ever make a 4th game i want them to go back and use the old concept of the lbp3 story.Lbp3 alpha story mode was much better and i think it could have been better that lbp2 s.m especially with the inclusion of the hub system but u know sony had to rush sumo bc money
I know you didn't said it on the video but do not get me wrong, I did not enjoy the 16-layer feature when LBP3 was launched. In my opinion, 2.5D makes LBP just LBP. I know it is really cool to construct 3D levels or other somewhat impossible things, but Dreams already allows you to create these things, so another LBP is not necessary, when we will think in this way. And, yeah I guess that players shouldn't be able to public more like 40 levels. When the number of levels you can post may end, then players will make better levels.
If I had the money for it, I would buy all the little big planet games/company and move those to ps4-ps5 and then make one more lbp level that would have all the desires people want but also give off the same vibe as lbp2 since lbp2 hits different
the thing that i want so badly is for all of the games to be dragged into one. like a lbp time capsule. i would like to see all of the games come back I'm 20 now and i remember playing this game when i was 10 goodness i would love to see little big planet come back!!! i mean with how much people are demanding this sony would make alot of money and i think the fandom would love it. i also think the best thing LBP should do is when their games get hacked is to do back track updates. or have a copy of the game to where each time somthing happens with the game getting hacked they can do a quick fix. i hope they think of somthing soon
One thing I want, more original DLC packs. Don't get me wrong, I do love the licensed ones, but they have to stay with what the license holders agrees with and wants. Original will let them go all out
I don’t think lbp4 would be 2d+3d like lbp3 because this feature is what made us love the lbp series, I am an og of the lbp series and I started playing since lbp2 until saba. Even sackboy run on mobile I played it❤
little big planet was *the* game that sold me on a ps3. I was so happy when it had a sequel, and I played them so much. sad I couldn't get everything in the base games though. 3 was a big letdown after what 2 established. Vita was also not that great, but I guess it was like lbp3 with a not so great story. I also never played the psp version. I did have lbpk but couldn't really get heavily invested into it. Sony needs to get MM back on board with a new lbp. only they know how to create such a wonderful game. they could also reintroduce some of the advancements they did with Dreams. it's too bad that all the major consoles charge for online nowadays. I liked jumping into a random lobby to see what people were doing. now that online multiplayer is a 'luxury' and not a standard freedom like I had long ago, I don't know if I'd buy a ps4/5/6 just for lbp4. lbp4 would also probably have to be a new experience entirely disconnected from lbp1/2/3 because of the way they handled save data, which allowed you to transfer things from the first game. I'm glad that 'restitched' is in the making. it's gonna be a bit like lbp, but for PC.
if they do make a lbp 4 it will very likely be a new engine meaning that all the old levels dont work, but they will be able to have a fresh start and better experience like less corruption and better online
The OG LBP is by far the best in the series, Sackboy Adventure is number two, LBP3 is 3rd, and i honestly think LBP2 was my least favorite. It was more arcadey and less puzzley and creative feeling.
Okay, so a few problems here. The LBP3 servers have had problems, and will have problems, due to a hacking incident. Yeah. That's a bit of a unique problem. And all LBP games, 1-3, shared the same servers. And the reason for doing this was content. It allowed you to transfer data from the previous games, to the next. This includes all DLC items, unlocked base game items, and community levels. This allowed your created levels to be carried on to the next game. So this getting hacked is bad. To put simply. It was basically an implosion, in more complicated words. So for the PS4 version of LBP3, they made a new server for. Why won't they just do that for the PS3 titles? Compatibility. The servers then were probably older. If you used the same kind of servers, that'd be a different story. But turn back a page, and you'll remember those servers got hacked. So for security reasons, they have totally new servers, that would NOT be compatible with 2013 software that is not at all geared to connect to those modern servers. That's like trying to fix the broken cable on your toaster by splicing it with the male end of a generator cable. You're gonna burn your house down. Now, something other than the server issue . . . Custom powerups. You can actually make these as complex as you want as is. It's just a matter of making it on a large scale, so you can get all your functioning bits in and set up while also prettying it up. Drag a box around it, and shrink. A lot of people make them into extremely basic weapons, not ever realizing you can put connectors in there as well. Yes. You can put a piston in a powerup, and make a sort of uh . . . Boppinator. Something to bop and push back hostiles, or press buttons just out of reach. To say you need a microchip of sorts to further expand this concept is not at all correct. What this really needs is more general building tools. As you can already do a lot with it, you just need more building tools to expand upon something so multifaceted yet basic. Like a sprung piston. Or a blasting cap. Instead of a missile or explosive object, it's more of an emitter type object that gives off a little explosion. That way, you can make a tool that launches a solid projectile with combustion. I already had an idea where it's a gun that blasts out some sponge or cork that's attached to a winch inside the gun, so you can reel it back in. I have so many absurd ideas. Some more functional in practice than others. But still. Custom pod structure. This was only just an exploited bug, but it definitely should have been an official feature to some extent. Being able to make my own pod of whatever size and place some fun to mess with things inside would be amazing. And the fact they kept patching it out is a huge bummer. Because although you COULD break the game with this, it was easily circumvented. You see, the issue is the pod navigation controller. It's an interactable object that is nowhere to be found in the popit menu. So if you deleted the navigation controller, and loaded this new pod, you essentially softlocked yourself into your pod. But, you COULD just save the original pod as a backup, and this fixed it completely. In my opinion, they should've left it. That exploit bred some divine ingenuity. Addons/DLC. They should definitely keep focus on level and game creation. But sadly that's exactly why Sony is essentially ditching LBP. Because it has a niche fanbase of people who like custom level designer games. Not everyone likes a game that just says "build it yourself." That's how I got all the games for 10 bucks a pop at a Gamestop. Some folks bought them, played them for a solid 15 minutes, and dropped it with nothing but criticism. To Sony, that's not a viable business model. But that's to them. And instead of trying to work with it, they're willing to rebrand altogether. Media Molecule made friggin' Dreams in the meanwhile, and now somebody has been making an Avatar Last Airbender game in Dreams over the last few years. And yes, it looks cool. The guy, Elca, took advice from his viewers. Bending moves aren't just attacks, they also have a few locomotive and platforming uses. And Penguin sledding. It's just stellar. In fact, it's even developed in part by fans. As the Penguin model was fanmade and sent in to Elca. And they've even got the cast of the show doing voices. Go check out his channel, it's ElcaGaming. Dude started it off as just a few month challenge. Ended up making a full game for like, 3 years now. Again, in Dreams.
Amazing video but the real question is if they would evej consider making another lbp. But going off of your videos idea, im a fan of lbp3 despite it's bugs, The create mode capabilities being carried over combined with the love and passion put into lbp1 and 2 including the other spin offs (not including SABA) would be a masterpiece in the making. Another factor i think is the developer, completely getting rid of Sumo Digitals involvement with the series and have Tarsier (the devs of lbp ps vita) take over to work on the game.
What Sony has done with lbp franchise would be the equivalent of Nintendo firing Mario…. Pure insanity on Sonys part as this game was a total masterpiece. They just kind of gave up on it🤦♂️🤷🏼♂️
Not really Lbp 3 has been supported for years now since it launched solely due to Sony making it so, plus Media Molecule confirmed Dreams was scrapped then restarted several times while Sony provided them almost an entire decade of development time until Mm felt it was ready If anything it's up to Media Molecule to deliver
@@John-d5i8v Sony Interactive Entertainment contracted Sumo Digital to create Little Big Planet 3 so that Mm could focus on Dreams, they never "took over" the actual franchise kind of like what Sanzaru Games did for Sly TIT while Sucker Punch created Infamous Though at least thanks to SIE Lbp 3 has received years of support post launch most other publishers tend to give a year or two at most for such projects

That ending hit hard 😞
you made this video on my birthday >:)
Not allowing myself to replay lbp2 until ive 100% lbp1... I am very excited also ive been playing every Christmas
Did you get past the notorious wheel?
I actually finished 100%ing it about 2 weeks ago now since i was already almost there! Finally feel justified starting lbp2@@ChickenJoe-tq6xd
Man LBP2 was so special!! The good old times :/
I really want to see more levels for swoop in the story mode of lbp4
Swoop is pretty cool 👍
@@Ryejimmy yea swoop sackboy and oddsock (except toggle nobody like toggle)
i felt like the lbp series could have been a 10 game series but they for some reason just gave up…
Dreams happened
If they ever make a 4th game i want them to go back and use the old concept of the lbp3 story.Lbp3 alpha story mode was much better and i think it could have been better that lbp2 s.m especially with the inclusion of the hub system but u know sony had to rush sumo bc money
Leak just came out saying that media molecule is working on new “live service game”
Agreed with your first point! I always preferred the 3 layers over the 16 too
If I had the money for it, I would buy all the little big planet games/company and move those to ps4-ps5 and then make one more lbp level that would have all the desires people want but also give off the same vibe as lbp2 since lbp2 hits different
Short answer no but i love watching this video since it really hits in my heart
I love LBP SO MUCH!
Me too
the thing that i want so badly is for all of the games to be dragged into one. like a lbp time capsule. i would like to see all of the games come back I'm 20 now and i remember playing this game when i was 10 goodness i would love to see little big planet come back!!! i mean with how much people are demanding this sony would make alot of money and i think the fandom would love it. i also think the best thing LBP should do is when their games get hacked is to do back track updates. or have a copy of the game to where each time somthing happens with the game getting hacked they can do a quick fix. i hope they think of somthing soon
Reply here if you play lbp3
Yep
✌️
I would be happy with Sackboy 2. Love them all!
I need it on pc
One thing I want, more original DLC packs. Don't get me wrong, I do love the licensed ones, but they have to stay with what the license holders agrees with and wants.
Original will let them go all out
3:37 That's the best Shadow the Hedgehog costume I have ever seen in LBP. Where did you get it?
I was pod surfing, some random person had it on.
Btw what headset/mic do you use?
Is it bad?
@@Ryejimmy No it’s good that’s why i’m asking
@@Ryejimmy what’s the name of the headset
@@TheSupremeLeader69 I just use a PlayStation VR headset
@@RyejimmyNo it’s actually really good 😂
I don’t think lbp4 would be 2d+3d like lbp3 because this feature is what made us love the lbp series, I am an og of the lbp series and I started playing since lbp2 until saba. Even sackboy run on mobile I played it❤
10:18 Subtitles become self-aware
i had a heart attack seeing that title
little big planet was *the* game that sold me on a ps3.
I thought a big adventure was lbp 4
maybe for the 3d stuff just add everything from dreams like key frames
I just want it to be fun, well put together, not buggy, and to not look so goddamn dull (looking at LBP3)
i would give my legs for lbp4
Lol
The servers are gone now.
The OG LBP is by far the best in the series, Sackboy Adventure is number two, LBP3 is 3rd, and i honestly think LBP2 was my least favorite. It was more arcadey and less puzzley and creative feeling.
Um it's not out? What it's called sackboy a big adventure
Wow, that is a lot to read. No offense but this is just all over the place.
I hope they revert LBP3. LBP 3 was too complicated for no reason at all, I especially didn't like the introduction of new characters.
As long as no battle pass bullshit is in it
Hi
Hello
or will it even exist?
I doupt that LBP will ever release a new game. We have Restitched over horizon, so I wouldn't be so hopefull about LBP.
lbp4 is the new gta6
What Sony has done with lbp franchise would be the equivalent of Nintendo firing Mario…. Pure insanity on Sonys part as this game was a total masterpiece. They just kind of gave up on it🤦♂️🤷🏼♂️
Not really Lbp 3 has been supported for years now since it launched solely due to Sony making it so, plus Media Molecule confirmed Dreams was scrapped then restarted several times while Sony provided them almost an entire decade of development time until Mm felt it was ready
If anything it's up to Media Molecule to deliver
@@bamban_garcia5562 media molecule isn’t responsible for lbp anymore sumo took over that’s why part 3 kinda sucked
@@John-d5i8v Sony Interactive Entertainment contracted Sumo Digital to create Little Big Planet 3 so that Mm could focus on Dreams, they never "took over" the actual franchise kind of like what Sanzaru Games did for Sly TIT while Sucker Punch created Infamous
Though at least thanks to SIE Lbp 3 has received years of support post launch most other publishers tend to give a year or two at most for such projects
There is *NO* Way i found you on my reccomended
Uh oh…
lol@@Ryejimmy
Little Big Planet 4 - will it be?
So you want more microtransactions and to allow pc players in the community to hack everything and ruin it like they did to the first 2? Yikes can’t say I agree with you
Never said that. Plus I’m sure the micro transactions would have better security to prevent that sort of thing.
lbp4 is not even confirmed
I’m aware
I feel like most of this video is “make these creations easier” and its not good. It shouldnt be easy to make abstract things, because it limits creativity, what you are talking about is too much like roblox.
I’m sorry to crush your dreams but lbp4 simply isn’t happening. Lbp3 is 9 YEARS OLD.
I’m aware, this video is explaining the stuff I would like to see in LBP 4 IF it happened.

LBP4 won't happen.
Leak just came out that media molecule is working on new “live service game” might be possible but idk
