The Little Big Planet series was amazing to sony, people loved it, sony got tons of money from it, and now they are just throwing it out! The game will be missed by so many people for a very long time and I really hope they come out with something new soon

If I had to make an honest guess, it's most likely the licenses expiring for various copyrighted tracks used in the game. Same thing happened to LBP2 around it's 10th anniversary as well.

they are making it impossible not to- legally emulate these games

And just a month later they release a sackboy costume for LEGO horizons why include a costume for sackboy if their trying to end the franchise

No no no no, this is horrible, SUPER HORRIBLE, and very disrespectful, just kill it when it’s 13 years old or something, not at it’s damn ANNIVERSARY, this is disrespectful to the game, and to the community, meanwhile Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Mojang, etc, are treating their games nicely, but Sony just likes money and replace Sackboy with A$tro Bot. If I was Sony, I would kill LBP3 when it’s 13 years or something, not 10.

If there was work on another lbp, it’d be a few more years anyway. Developing a new engine in the modern day is a lengthy task, bethesda took a decade for it too. If there was a new game in the works, the engine is probably being worked on still.

After seeing the comments on this video, People are too hopeful for another game. Molecule media who are the studio and company behind LBP are no longer devoloping games. There will be no new LBP, Please stop being hopeful. *EDITED*

I'm so attached to this franchise that I am currently on my way to recreating the LittleBigPlanet games (1 - 3) in VR in Rec Room. I've already published ^LittleBigPlanet1-RR and still tossing out updates for it. Pls go check it out! It shot up to 20 cheers and favourites in the first couple of days. That just shows that there are tons more LittleBigPlanet fans that stuck with the game than you think.

Not to give anyone false hope but Sony has de-listed old games in preparation for a remaster. I don't believe that's the case though
