They said Nasr killed his future F1 career by placing his Sauber in P9 in final race in 2016. because he would most probably join Manor in 2017. and this way Manor lost 30$mil and went bankrupt before 2017. and Nasr got no other racing seat in f1

And despite being 3 months late (definitely not a feature a regular virgin can show) this did give Nasr the chance to compete in the IMSA Endurance Championship which he one on his first outing. Which is quite impressive considering it is a hard fought competition. JPM won it a couple of years ago.
And the same one our dear friend Kevin Magnussen is competing in this year. Just like his dad before. Motorsport is a very small world.

You should've mentioned that originally, the 2013 lineup was Chilton and Luis Razia, but Razia's funding had issues so his contract was terminated, so he was then replaced by Bianchi.
As well as the fact that Felipe Nasr signed for the team for 2017, but he himself scored those 2 points in Brazil, meaning Sauber finished ahead. So Nasr both ended his own F1 career and Manor's.

There's something about Simtek backed teams and tragedy. Two Manor drivers die of complications from serious head injuries, one Simtek driver from a broken neck. Poor Montermini was damn near killed in one too. If I were Nick Wirth I'd probably feel pretty upset by the fact that 3 of the 4 most recent fatalities in F1 machinery are all linked to him however indirectly. In fact the only team to run a Simtek car and not see any fatalities was... Andrea Moda. Weird.

Think they were hard done by in the end but being beaten by the bank manager still counts. As a team they were improving but it doesn't matter how much you get closer to the rest of the pack if you can't afford to keep the lights on. As I've said on previous videos about the 3 new teams, it's difficult to judge them too harshly as they were basically lied to before they entered and the situation they were expecting to happen never did. After that they were always going to be in trouble.

I've gotta be honest here. I had some sympathy over that team over the years - to the point where I now own a 1/43 model of Di Grassi's car from 2010. They where a mess in the beginning, sure, but there where sings of things improving. And for once they didn't seem utterly and completely unprofessional, as did HRT. I saw Monaco 2014 and Austria 2016, and I also saw the picture they had on their factory with the 2017 model car.
It's a shame that their name will most likely be remembered in the future not for their persistence, but rather for the unfortunate circumstances that led to the two most recent fatalities in F1 happening in their cars, within a span of 2 years - much like we mostly remember Simtek for Ratzenberger.

The three teams mentioned in this series were essentially born in a very difficult transitional period in F1 history, during a global recession. A little known fact is that these teams were originally penned in as a sort of lower class F1 B-spec, so to speak, with strict budget limitations in a time when new teams could no longer afford to enter F1, with a dwindling number of cars on the grid.
After signing up for this low cost F1 format, there rules were changed leaving the three new teams competing under a rule set that they didn’t sign up for, against all the other teams as equals.
The all digital design Virgin F1 car was actually a huge step towards standardising CFD analysis in place of wind tunnel testing (a hugely wasteful and expensive method of aerodynamic development) as the first F1 team to use CFD exclusively, they were actually well ahead of many other teams in this area. Modern teams use CFD religiously, without it they couldn’t manage the rapid testing of the ever more complex aero on the cars. In this sense the Virgin team deserves respect for at least its forward-thinking attitude.
The fuel tank problem was as a result of a last minute rule changes by the FIA. Larger teams could react quickly and fix the issues, but a smaller, low budget team didn’t have the resources to fix the issue before the start of the season.
Although the results ultimately didn’t come, the team deserves respect for their vision.
That being said, I enjoyed the video!

I honestly dont think you can call this one of the worst teams in the sports history. There were lots of teams in the 70s 80s and early 90s that were run far worse than this one. Even in their final season they still were able to take on future potential talents in Wehrlein and Ocon rather than pay drivers. I feel that the team just got sold to the wrong sort of people where ownership was divided so many ways that no one really knew who owned the largest share of the team and they were seriously struggling with the ridiculously expensive hybrid era as well which was ultimately the catalyst for the teams demise but maybe with some stable management and some respectable big money sponsors the team could've survived and one day been brought by a major car manufacturer like Racing Point.

Hire Nick Wirth and went all in on his approach was their biggest mistake, they dug a big hole for themselves that contributes to the later management chaos.
