Did yours not come with the 2 front deck wheels - I think they are anti scalping wheels? What is the reason they are not on your mower? I am about to buy one used and it doesn't have them either. Looks like identical mower similarly.
No, I bought brand new in ‘18 and it didn’t come with wheels on the deck. Just a striping roller on the back. FYI - built in striping roller is useless unless you have a fairly flat yard.
@@weekendhomeprojects dang that’s crappy. How does it stripe overall? I figure I’ll buy a big lawn striping kit but I was hoping the rollers did a good job. Does it cut overall really good and leave stripes or no stripes?
Yeah, at around 2:05, I had the bracket nut all the way to the top and it was only measuring 4”. So 4” was the most I could go but it eventually worked it’s way to 4 1/8th. My guess is something got bent one day when my deck fell off the hinge due to a broken bracket pin.
Pups are adorable!!! They were clearly a big help!! 💙🐶🐾
Thanks - They are there for moral support....and to eat the grass I scrape off the mower.

@@weekendhomeprojects I have read numerous places you can lower the roller bar and it creates nice stripes. Is it adjustable?
@@lmbuehrer12 You can adjust / lower. I have a video showing when I did it. But if your yard is bumpy or hilly the roller doesn’t work well if at all.

I have the same mower. I’ve been trying to finder a bagger or grass catcher. Any suggestions?
I haven’t looked around for one so I’m not sure.
Maybe I missed it, but why would you set the pin at 4.5”, then measure to a height less than that? Seems like you should aim to match.
