Thank you so much! You are so kind. I’ve been podcasting for almost a year and I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with so many amazing people including you! Thank you for the beautiful comment and for taking the time to watch my little podcast! Have a great day! 😊❤️
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. You have a knack for podcasting, ie at ease, no fidgeting, or trying to be cutesy. Just good, straightforward information and sharing your love of knitting and crochet. With the current recession and money issues we are facing, I appreciate the topic of affordable knitting you presented on this episode. In fact, I would enjoy more on this topic. Thank you and keep podcasting!
Thank you Laurie for your kind comments! I’m so happy you enjoyed this episode about affordable knitting. I agree, the expense of knitting should be addressed. I have noticed more knitting podcasters are knitting with Holst yarn, Cascade yarn and Knit Picks which are much more affordable. Thank you so much for watching. 😀
Thank you Saleon for your lovely comments! Just like you, I like watching knitting podcasts is to see samples of designer’s patterns. Thank you so much for watching! 😀
Hi I am new here and enjoying your podcast very much 😊 The more you talk about the Ranunculus the more I want to knit it. Thank you for sharing the free patterns.
How lovely! Thank you so much for the kind comments and for watching! I was a little long winded with this episode. It ended up being an hour long. Thank you for taking the time to watch all 3 episodes! I appreciate it so much. ❤️🙂
I thank you SO MUCH, I am currently going back to all your videos as I am knitting the Leela Top. It really helps me so much that you mention how to style these knits - as I have a huge block when it comes to wardrobe planning. I am a beginner knitter at 67! I have trouble reading the patterns but all your tips are so appreciated especially when you use your sizing and if you change needles as you and I are about the same from the waist up. I actually ordered the Sandess Garn Tyne Line and am planning the Caprock. I will also follow your suggestions of doing a swatch for a new stitch rather that tinking back. You have already helped me do the new rib stitch I only want to use - again thanks from Georgia in BC
I love your podcasts and your style. I found your videos yesterday and have been watching through all the episodes. Just want to leave a comment for you and thank you for doing this. 👍🏻☺️
Thanks for another great, interesting podcast, Bobbi. Love your setting~very welcoming. 🥰 You inspired me to try Christie Archer’s tank that you are wearing. Yours looks so stylish on you. You are rocking it! 🧶 Happy Knitting ❤️
Thank you Susie for your kind comments! I’m happy you’re enjoying my podcasts! I really do like the Andalusia Top by Christie Archer. It’s really cute and it’s a fast knit too. Thank you so much for watching!
I’m really enjoying you and your podcasts Bobbi. You are very entertaining and so generous with your ideas, I love the way you knit up garments. The changes you make are so much nicer than the original patterns. You look fabulous in all your knits. What a fabulous start to podcasting. 🧶🇬🇧👍☀️💕
Thank you so much Carole for your lovely comments and for watching! I do like modifying my knit projects when it’s possible. You are so encouraging and uplifting! It means a lot to me to know you enjoy my podcasts. 🙂🧶❤️
Everything about your podcast appeals so much! I love your set, your down to earth conversational style, your projects…. Thank you for all the work you do to prepare!! I’m looking forward to the next time!
Thank you Susan for watching and for your lovely comments! My husband made my backdrop and I love that it is so versatile and that in every episode it has a different look. I’m so happy you enjoyed Episode 2 and please go back and watch Episodes 1 & 2. Have a great day! 😀
Hi, Bobbi. I’ve really enjoyed your three podcasts. I like your choices of patterns and yarns and appreciate how you explain your process. I’m looking forward to seeing more episodes!
Lisa thank you so much for your lovely comments and for watching! I’m so glad you’re enjoying watching my podcast episodes even though this one was an hour long. It’s so nice to connect with other knitting enthusiasts! 🙂
Thank you for all your hard work and time that you put into your podcast and the time it takes editing and uploading it!!! Your podcast is so nice and refreshing since it is not like anyone else’s. It gets a little tiring listening to people say things at the opening and closing and in between. It’s nice that you’re original, as well as your backdrop! Thanks again for originality!!
Hello Bobbi! Love your podcast! 🥰 I especially love the Christie Archer tank you are wearing! It looks stunning on you 🤩. I have some bulky cotton in my stash, debating a cast on..thinking of the Pop of Life Cardigan, as per Leslie Friend’s suggestion.🤷🏻♀️looking forward to your next episode! Subscribed✔️
Thank you Helen for your kind comments. Yes, the Andalusia Top is so cute. I remember the Poop of Life Cardigan Leslie talked about on her podcast. I really like it!!! Thank you so much for watching! 😁
Hi Bobbi, Another wonderful podcast, your knits are beautiful, thank you so much! Like you I started out crocheting which I still love, then I tried my hand at knitting…I started out English style but almost quit, then I changed over to Continental which was a game changer. I recently started knitting garments, which I’m loving at the moment. I’m currently knitting the Willa by Annie Haas of This.Bird.Knits Designs, using Pure Soho Linen Quill, I’m in love with this yarn, a joy to knit with! I’m So looking forward to your next episode! Have a wonderful week and take care!
Hi Jayleen! Thank you for watching and for you kind comments! Thank you for telling me about the Willa pattern. I searched it on Ravelry and added it to my favorites. Looks like we have the same taste in knitted garments. 😊
I just found you and I’m glad I did. I enjoyed visiting with you and hearing your perspectives on knitting and crochet. I’ve sewn since I was a teenager, learned to crochet about the same time and then jumped off into knitting a couple of years ago at the insistence of my baby sister. Anyway enjoyed and will be watching your other videos to catch up. 🧶💕🧶
I love your podcast Bobby! You are so positive and generous with your knowledge of knitting. Look forward to seeing all projects you’ve been working on. Keep it up!
Cathy, thank you so much! I really enjoy connecting with fellow fiber lovers! Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching. Please subscribe so you’ll always be notified about my future episodes. 😊
I just found you! I was a test knitter for Christine's Lil' sprout! I made it with Yarnbee Cot-lin, and the result was great! Right now I'm testing for a European designer, but the pattern is kind of a mess and I think she must be on vacation or something because there is no interaction at all with her. Not all the tests are enjoyable I guess... I recommend ViVi Berry Crochet's RUclips channel for beautiful bags, she doesn't talk, but her videos are very comprehensive. See you in the next episode, greetings from Tennessee!
Oh my gosh Raquel you test knit the Lil’ Sprout? I would like to knit it with Linen Quill, but I’d have to do some math to find out if I can get gauge with it. Thank you so much for the kind comments.I really do appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment! I love Tennessee!!!😀
Hi Bobbi I’m so enjoying your podcasts and I love that you give lots of information and advice about the patterns you’ve knit…I appreciate that when I’m looking to knit a pattern myself. It’s so helpful. I’ve just finished knitting 2 salty air tees and I thoroughly enjoyed them both so I’m sure you will too. I’m currently knitting the summer flirt tee in cotton which is knitting up lovely. Look forward to your next video xx
Thank you so much Jacqui for watching and for your lovely comments! Sounds like the Salty Air Tee is a winner. I’m definitely knitting a swatch today with the 100% silk Purl Soho Cattail to see if I like the fabric for the Salty Air Tee. You’ve inspired me! 😊
This is a podcast that I love so much, you are a real inspiration to me and all your makes I would love to knit and chrochet. I liked and subscribed so I will not miss an episode ❤️
Hi Bobbi great to see you today 🤗. I now have the ranunculus pattern waiting for me 🙏🏻🧶. I’m such a procrastinator. Enjoyed the content again. I’m crocheting a little granny square bag for my granddaughter too. Until next time👋
Thank you so much Zena! When you decide to knit the Ranunculus sweater, may I suggest knitting the wider neckband with size US 9 needles. I think the wider neckband option is much easier to knit. So glad you’re crocheting your granddaughter a little granny square bag. Sounds adorable! 😀
@@knitterskniche I will take your suggestion for sure help is much appreciated. I’m not the most confident knitter very slowly getting a wee bit more adventurous 😉🙏🏻
It is so bizarre to me when folks say that crocheters knit continental. I understand the mindset but as a long time crocheter…I find flicking (not throwing) much more comfortable and efficient. 🤷🏻♀️😊♥️
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! I’m sure you’ll be able to jump right into crocheting without any trouble. I know, isn’t the granny square bag too cute? I want to crochet a larger bag to hold my mini skeins. 🙂
Hi Rene! You are so kind. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for watching my little RUclips channel. It’s so nice connecting with fellow knitters! 😊❤️
Thank you so much for your kind comments! I’m so glad you’re enjoying watching my podcasts. Stayed turned, I’m busy editing episode 4. Thank you for watching! 😀
I so enjoy you and your channel! I am currently knitting the Little Sprout halter top in yarn bee bamboolicious. I’m bad and did not swatch so we’ll see lol! Love the bags too and will definitely try one! ☺️💕
I knit a t-shirt with Coboo. It does drape very nicely and is comfortable to wear. I did not know how much it stretches, so it is a tunic rather than a t-shirt. I also crochet so I am Crocheting a belt of the same yarn to go with the tunic. Have you tried washing the Coboo project? I am afraid to do that because I don,t want it to get any bigger. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you Karen for watching and commenting. I have not washed my Coboo Tee shown in my podcast. I did, however steam block it and it did “grow”. The only solution I can think of is to knit it with smaller needles and knit a size smaller. You’re right it does stretch out. It’s too bad because it made a beautiful fabric with a soft touch. Thanks again! 😀
Thank you Nancy for commenting and watching! Oh no! I didn’t realize the Edda Bag is no longer free. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to search for a similar bag that is free. Have a great day! 😀
