Love your podcast and love all your knits. Your outtakes are the funniest 😂. Thank you for sharing the discount code on the Florencia. I purchased the pattern and added it to my long Ravelry queue. I love all the lace yoke tees. Rachel S.
Hi Sherrie! You are so sweet! Thank you for the lovely comment. I have so many mistakes and my timing is awful. So I have a lot of outtakes to choose from. Lol!! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! ❤️😍😊
I recently discovered your podcast and want you to know how much I am enjoying it. I especially like your comments regarding the pros and cons of specific yarns. The patterns which you knit and discuss are so appealing. I immediately look them up on Ravelry and add them to favorites. I could go on and on, but will simply say please, please keep on doing what you are doing! Would you be willing to discuss the pros and cons of super wash yarn and if you use it for sweater knitting. I’ve heard that it grows and I’ve shied away from it.
Loved your outtakes, hilarious! Thx for another great podcast. I started the Florencia, a little nervous, I have only knit top down, as well, I hear once you attach your sleeves it is difficult to line up the triangle pattern, I’m crossing my fingers. I also just cast on the Ilha, so far so good. Thank you for always including the metric size of needles!
Your knitting is just beautiful, so inspiring. Love seeing the patterns you knit and always such pretty soft colours. For Autumn knitting I wondered if you have seen the Whitmoor Cardigan or Sweater pattern by Ami Lowden - it is a lovely pattern in DK. I am making the cardigan. Loving your podcasts very much x
Bobbi, I really appreciate your podcast > it’s great that you are always mentioned inch and cm , mm and meters > just great for us European knitters > I’m german and live on the Canary Islands > thanks for that
Hi Deborah. I know what you mean, the camera angle is not ideal. I appreciate any and all suggestions to help me improve your viewing experience. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a wonderful day! 😊❤️
Thank you for another nice relaxing podcast. You have become one of my favorites. I love the outtakes. I laugh so hard because I have the same things happen to me. I’m 4 years older than you so it’s nice to watch someone in my range that is so genuine. Some of the younger ones make me nervous 😬. Love all your items. 🧶
Hello! I really like the Salty Air Tee I’m wearing in this video. Sorry about the camera angle. I know what you mean. For some reason I thought it was fine. Lol. Thank you so much for your comment. It really helps me know where I need to improve. Have a wonderful day! Thank you so much for watching! 😊❤️
I have knit the Winters Beach Cardi I enjoyed it so much I’m knitting another one, I knitted it in Rowan Felted Tweed as I live in the Uk and not all yarns she uses are easily available. I chose my yarn as I saw someone else on the projects page had used it, I wasn’t aware that Andrea gave yarn substitutions at the bottom of her pattern pages and Rowan Felted Tweed was one of them. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did xxx Love your podcast by the way your style is so classic xxx
Hello! I can’t wait to cast on the Winters Beach Cardi. I want to use a tweed wool, but I haven’t found one I like and one I can afford. Is the Rowan Felted Tweed next to skin soft? Thank you so much for watching and for the lovely comment! Have a great weekend! 😊❤️
I’ve been listening and enjoying your podcast, thank you! I appreciate the photos but if you could move them-maybe over to the right, on top of the fairy lights, that would be so much better! I want to see you!! 🥰
Thank you for your suggestion! Great idea. I will make sure I slide the photos to the right. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Have a wonderful day! 😊❤️
Thank you so much for introducing me to Florencia! I purchased it and appreciate the 50% off code. What a treat. As I run warmer all the time, I will still consider making this short sleeve top into the Fall. Blessings on your day and week!
Let’s talk about knitting!!!! I have so enjoyed your podcast and the outtakes may just be my favourite part. They are so endearing ❤ I really appreciate your perspective on the patterns you choose to knit. Thank you so much!!! And I can vouch for Wool & Co in IL; I live 30 min from it and it is a yarny wonderland!
Hi. You're so cute. And struggling with the camera would be my thing too ;). Yeah, I'm really ready for autumn. Enough knitting with fingering yarns. I'll do thick sweaters!! Love your Podcasts, Go on as you are. Thank you.
I started knitting lace with the Exordium shawl and found it pretty easy to follow, nothing too fancy, but it gave me the basic skills to try something else so now I’m doing the Ranunculus and it’s….creatively knit, so far :-)))
Love your garment choices. We are the same age (ish). I turn 64 in October. I’ve been knitting for at least 40 years and agree that lace patterns can be tricky, even for us long time knitters.
Always enjoy watching ;) Thanks for mentioning the Magna Flora, I've also put it into my favs for next year, so darling! Have a wonderful day, Sunshine
Thank you for inspiring me! My list to knit keeps growing. Not enough hours in the day! Line is also my favorite summer yarn. I am working on the Deschain with Line on a 10 needle which you will need to wear something under it but the original you also need to wear something under it. The lace pattern is a lovely take on a feather and fan. Check it out for next year!
Thank u for the knitting inspo. I keep adding favourites to my ravelry after watching your episodes. I am knitting a deschaines with lion brand 24/7 cotton in dark blue
Sorry the comment about the lace edging. Not seeing the pattern, I just thought it might be easier, but the pattern designers usually know the best way to achieve the desired outcome. Thank you for taking the time to try it out, now we know there is no shortcut. You do a wonderful job explaining all the patterns.
Hello! I think your question was a great question! I really enjoyed trying a new way to knit the lace on the sleeves. We think alike because I’m always looking for new ways to knit garments. I appreciate your viewership so much. Thank you for watching and commenting! 😊❤️
Oh that Florencia is lo-ve-ly! All the suggestions for fall have been saved (my queue is growing!!!) The bloopers and the I-love-lucy-esque music were so much fun! Lots of hugs from Tennessee!
I love your podcast!! Its the 2nd one I watched. Your sweaters are lovely. I am working on my first sweater, and also tomorrow, I am starting the Staycation Shawl by Caroline Sommerfeld from Ancient Arts Yarn. They are having a Knit along to. Tomorrow night is a zoom meeting and a few more times after. They have a newsletter too.
Thank you for inspiration and a new lovely episode 🥰 I am from Norway and love to knit with wool. And sometimes cotton and linnen in the summer (I am from Sandnes, the home city of Sandnes garn and Line 😊). I normaly dont knit with acrylic. Your jacket with cables is super nice. What do you think is the difference between knitting with acrylic yarn compered with wool? 🌸 Looking forward to your next episode 🤩
I live in Illinois & recently drove the 1-1/2 hours to Wool & Company to buy the sandes garn yarn. They had different varieties & a wide range of colors. They also had a huge showroom of so many other yarn that I did not get out of there for 2 hours! It was so worth the trip. They do a huge online business also. I love your podcasts by the way. ❤
Hello! Thank you so much for watching my video! I am planning a trip to Wool & Co soon. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful yarn. Especially the Sandnes Garn! Thank you for the lovely comment!
