Is there a big difference in low light conditions? Between those 2?

  • @chrisfrost8456

I have a pair of Ziess Bins had them a few years now they are Conquest HDs and Realy good for me the Light Gathering is Excellent i will upgrade when finance allows , i also have a Swarovski scope which i want to part exchange for a Ziess Harpia scope as i think they are better at the light gathering again Ziess to me are the best.

Unfortunately, that sound more of advertising then test and review.

Is the Sfl 40mm the same optically as the sf 42? Apart from the slight extra light gathering of the 42mm? Are they the same components?

  • @shem44

1 thing to note SFL doesn't have the back balanced design like SF.

I don't buy the claim that the extra 2 per cent light transmissions gives you an extra 20 minutes of use in challenging light conditions. Sounds like BS to me. In reality I strongly doubt you'd notice the difference between 90 and 92 per cent. Let's see the physics here!
