I love your curly hair, I'm from Australia and I find it really hard to find brown yarn for hair. I do not think brown yarn is very popular here. I love the burnt orange. ❤
Hi Kayla. Your doll is beautiful. I would use a piece of wood for a swing seat, put a hole in each end and crochet two cords to look like ropes. Attach the ropes to the wreath at the top. If it is a tree swing you could make a limb at the top. I think that if it is a tree, I would make apple blossoms. Love, Audrey. ❤️🇨🇦😍
She is darling! That pull back haired covers her ‘scalp’ too. How about sunflowers 🌻 there are a lot of good 3d flower patterns out there! Saw some good ones with hooked by Robin and nazstatia
I wish there was a way you could turn that wreath into a crocheted tire. To make it look like she's swinging in a tire swing. Daisy's would look great with her I think. Maybe some sunflowers.
That's pretty cool. Thanks for showing us. Her hair looks great. In fact she looks great. For flowers you could make either roses or carnations. I've made them before and they're pretty easy. Don't remember the pattern names. Sorry about that. Take care.
You have given me confidence to attempt so many projects! You create with love! Your vision has inspired and influenced confidence for so many in the crochet community! She is beautiful! Your imagination is so powerful and inspiring! Thank you for sharing your beautiful yarn 🧶 art!
This doll makes me think of Anne of Green Gables ♥️. Daisies or Black-eyed Susans . I’d say sunflowers but they would be too big, but of course to could make them to fit the wreath 😊
Hi Kayla 💜 👋 thank you for showing how to make your curly hair for your doll. It's gorgeous I love the color. You are so talented and Is creative. I also love your doll she's cute. Your wreath is going to be gorgeous when it's done. 🧡💜💙💚❤️💗🦙🙋♀️
Wow that is alot of curls. I don't know of any flowers, but an idea, you need to put little butterflies on the flowers. Beautiful job, you are so creative 👏 .
That's amazing, I love her curls. You're so clever, I'd think, if I didn't know better, that you've been crocheting for a long time!! I'm amazed at how you see things and make them your vision. God bless you Kayla 🙏💛🤗
I am so behind on videos I got side tracked. I have never made hair before. This is so so cool to learn. Thank you for sharing your way of doing it. Blessed day to you all and continued prayers. 🦜
Great tutorial!!! I'm only a beginner and had no problem following your instructions, and my doll turned out great! Thank you so much, greetings from Germany:)
Hi Kayla, wow! That is a lot of work!!! I make curly cues for arms and legs for clowns that I have been making for about 44 years 🤗 love your work as always 💖🤗 maybe clematis, mandevilla, trumpet vine, morning glories, 4 o'clock or some other flowering vine. Or a combination of two different flowering vines intertwining. You could then add a few small butterflies and or a couple of hummingbirds. You can also use 1 or 2 of your beer buttons. 🤷♀️ just a thought😊
Just a suggestion, I’d also add a butterfly and a little bird because they are always in a garden. Their are many flower tutorials on RUclips so I’m so sure you can find something you’d like. It’s going to be very cute. You can always cut down the wooden swing seat to just fit underneath her bottom, and use some twine to attach to the seat and at the top of the wreath. Just some idea’s. Our fair had already came and went or I might have entered a couple of projects. Oh well maybe next year if I’m still on this earth 🌍.
Your doll is so cute and I love the idea on her curly hair. Maybe you could make some sunflowers, daisies or roses. I think the swing is a great idea also. Can’t wait to se3 how she comes out
I love all the extra curls for her hair. another wreath that is going to be so cute! If you haven't thought of it, if you find she's sitting higher than you prefer, you could always cut out the last row of the wreath just where she sits. it would still be sturdy enough without that portion.
It amazes me how you can make up your own patterns as you go along. Love the really curly hair and the wreath is going to be amazing. If you are entering this wreath in the fair it's for sure going to win. I was thinking, how about baby breaths for your flowers, if you could make that at all possible I think that would look nice, just a thought.
This is SUCH a good curly hair tutorial and I love how they look so much, Thank you! I'm trying to make a doll of my friend and she has the best curly hair and I wanted to do it justice for her doll and I think with your tutorial I can finally get the effect I'm looking for ❤️
