That was an insane open hook to then suggesting your video about credibility. After watching your scripting video, it’s really opened my eyes to how RUclipsrs hold our attention and it’s definitely improved my videos! (Went from a 1:00 average view duration to around about 4:30 which is absolutely insane) Thank you for all the hard work you’re putting in ;)
I agree with most of the video, great stuff! Although I will say, the more "professional" u get, the lower the viewer can relate on a more personal level. Personally I like to keep it a balance between casual, fun, and professional. It differs me than literally everybody else because of the unique vibe I bring to the table. Not to forget that it takes years to build-up trust with subscribers. Cheers!
People know you're already not a professional, but knowing that you've put enough effort into the issue will make them more attracted to you. And don't say that you're a professional, unless you're certified/acknowledged
I think there’s a market for every kind of content with how much social media has spread. But yeah, definitely don’t say you’re a professional if you aren’t. People will be more likely to stick around if they find you honest and relatable.
Extremely helpful, thank you! I’m commenting to tell RUclips I want to see more hahah will be doing a little binge I think! Glad I found your second channel 🥳
Watching from Kenya in Africa. I havent really found my niche but I religiously follow all of your videos. Im always inspired by the knowledge you ooze out. Hope yo become better at RUclips.
I loved that Dollar Shave Club ad! And I loved this video too. As always great stuff. FYI I think you're the ONLY YT'er whose videos I never skip a second of. Keep it up!
Thanks! I used to love that ad to. It drove us mad though. Everyone wanted to make one after they saw it so we used to get a tonne of enquiries at the production company to produce it but nobody was good enough on camera haha
@@creator-booth Same in my production company! Just with different videos/ads. And yes... clients ALWAYS overestimated how good they could be on camera. LOL

Great advice. Tried this in my last two videos, and got 1/10 on both. (Coincidentally, probably because we're about the same age, I have 15 years of experience helping skinny people bulk up full-time.) (Those fluffy things look pretty cool.)
Another home run video, thank you for all the insights. I was able to grow my channel from 0 to over 32K subs thanks to some pieces of advice from you!
@@ladybull_1111 Thank you! I am now since this comment at 34k! However, it took two years, but I will tell you I messed up... I didn't even have a mic until a year ago so I scaled to 5K without a mic then bought a mic and magically soared to 32K!
This was a amazing and THANK YOU for the #3 point....The au natural thing people keep talking about on RUclips, but I always felt it wasn't 100% true. Thank you for explaining that.
Hey Ed, thank you so much for all the value you provide on RUclips and through your newsletter. I'm not a RUclipsr myself, but I’m a French video editor, and I try to help my clients with their RUclips strategies. My goal is to become a RUclips Strategist like you. If you could give me 3 pieces of advice (more or less) to help me on that way, what would they be?
Thank you, you are probably my fav channel I rely on to help me as a content creator. So feedback from me: yes, I listen to every word you say from start to end because I know there will be value in every piece. This is exactly what I am struggling with. I know I am going to be one of the best in my niche, and finally, I have the result I want to help people with (which I did not have when I started this channel XD) - but still not able to make that see to my audience (not really have an audience anyway). I do have a crazy journey to share, crazy results achieved in a crazy amount of time with respect to the rest of my "competitors" - I only have to find a simple way to show it. Sometimes it's frustrating to see all those fake unskilled creators in my niche selling air, while I got the real thing so fuc*ing hard to achieve. XD
That’s what I wrote. She graduated before I did at Institute for integrative Nutrition, so when I saw Furlough, I came to ask if he meant Forleo. He probably should do his research before botching the only female’s name on the list that he included. 🤦♀️
1 Mention your achievements for credibility in the intro (I have x years of experience in y) 2 Show (visual) results, don't mention them only 3 Clean room setup (no mess laying around) 4 Have confidence when you speak 5 Tell a story that proves you get results (or your clients)
Fun story. I got turned down by some PNW investors who in the same sentence told me that they had turned down Starbucks seed round way back when.. then said that we should assume they aren't great at picking winning investments!
Gold content, thank you! Parts of it seem applicable in music niche, but I wonder if you have any ideas for musicians to build trust with music videos, performances, etc?

Hey , I've been working on my copywriting skills and created a few samples for you. Feel free to use them if you find them helpful. Could you please let me know where I can share them with you? I understand that sharing them in RUclips comments may not be ideal.

3 hours later...new title, LOL. I bite my metaphoric tongue on poor grammar and misspellings on RUclips all the time because I understand that it's done for engagement. I figure if that's the only thing worth engaging about, I'm watching the wrong video.
It seems like you’re confusing claims of experience and referral to past success with the actual evidence itself. If you want to get viewers to a guitar channel that you must show them you playing differently and better in real time on screen, nobody cares what you say. Once you fix this problem, your channel will really grow.
It wasn’t a cheap dollar razor! They explained that they owned the factory and were starting you out for a dollar for a subscription! So they were guaranteed the sale of the blades for much more that $1! If you’re going to explain something, how about doing it correctly!
I like your channel a long time but I am always annoyed to hear about clients. This is for me like the new trailer intro. One thing I dislike even more is "don't let us waste any time and get right to it"... Both a waste of time for me.

Or is there a Maria Furlough that I can't find on Google RUclips could really be a better place for women, I would love to see more women represented, even though I understand the audience breakdown.
Great video but doesn't include my niche. I just film my household pets that I love who make me laugh and I wanted to share. I'm over 50 & disabled. It's difficult to learn new things because of this. I have never been techy at all! But thank you!😻🐾🩷
If you got anything out of this, I hope its that you can buy a razor for $1
Where is the other video you are talkin’ about in the end? Can see nothing on phone
