- Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins performs live at the Totally Tubular Festival. Fiddler's Green Amphitheater in Englewood, Colorado (a suburb of Denver) on 7.6.24. This was my first time seeing all of these bands. Concert #36 for me this year!

To all the negatives on this list, thompson twins are 80,s legends! So cut them a little slack! He,s trying to keep there legend going forward! Plus I have rarely ever heard anything live was as good as the recorded studio version, by any living artist! It's live folks, just enjoy the moment and the Aviance!
Obviously you have never heard Paul Weller or The Jam live then !

I saw the Thompson Twins twice back in their heyday. They were fantastic. This sounds great too all these decades later.

I read a review of a Thompson Twins concert in the mid-1980s saying Tom just held his guitar like it was a prop barely playing it and that's exactly what is happening here.
After all these years Toms tired of Hold Me Now. It’s time to let go.
Fun fact: Steve Stevens played guitar for the Thompson twins for a period, and studio work

@@carolincleve1630 it always amazes me looking back how many amazing muscians,groups & solo performers there were back then similiar to the Freedie Mercury Tribute concert,luckily some are still performing,was real music back then

One of the biggest bands in the world with that tune .now his aint same old .but to play keyboard then guitar aint easy try it .
I saw Thompson Twins open for the Police in 1983. They were brilliant. This is just sad

Horrible. He is singing it like it is his Opus and everyone know it. The solo piano, etc. Where is the Duck Bill chick and cool dude with the Dreads? That made them the Twins in the 1980's. such a shame, robbing folks of good money.

He hasn’t sounded good in ANY of these 2024 videos I have seen. Me and a couple friends were going to travel a few hours to see him until we saw all these current videos.

It's a great song but Tom Bailey's voice was never that great live. However, the 12-inch version with that fantastic bass riff is perfect.
