- The 22 L5P has arrived! Today we power this 6.6L Engine with our D3 Hp Package! Upgrading the Factory Turbocharger to larger 64mm , adding a Fass Fuel System to the low fuel pressure system , ditching the factory rubber pipping and topped this build off with a heavy duty set up manifolds and up pipes!! Strapped to the Dyno we go after 600RWHP!! It’s DYNO TIME!

For general towing and efficiency it would be nice to see the graph for around 1500rpm. Also some pulls at a specific throttle percentage to see what the improvements would be in a cruising under load situation.
Issue with that low of a rpm the trans won’t allow power to be lugged through it, you would have to downshift to lower gears. In the lower gears you don’t use a ton of power because you have gear Reduction. Pulling power is normal based on running up a hill higher gear where the engine truly has to fight Mother Nature and pull its self and what ever it’s towing up a hill. Cruising down the road 1500 rpm’s no load might take 130
Hp to do the job. Cruising under a load on a dyno will generate massive amounts of engine heat . You can mimic load but not ideal. Much respect for interest sir , what platform do you own ?
I just found this channel. great content guys 🤙🏻 those engines are gonna live a much longer life especially towing with that turbo and all the work you did to make the exhaust flow to the turbo better

Love the sound of these trucks when you’re loading it and then u hear it come to life What % injectors would you do for the 67 since you went 64 for stock fuel or when u say more fuel cp3 ? Thank you Mr Tyson
Yo!! Personally I would do a 60% over injector with at least a 10mm pump! I know I’ve seen people do a 30% over on stock HP4 pump but we’ve not had the same luck ( the pump won’t hold rail on the bigger file ! ) I also lean towards bigger on the injector unless it’s strictly a tow rig and 30% are the way to go sir ! A healthy 67 should do 800
Or close so I would give it a fighting chance with more then enough fuel !

Do I have to delete my truck in order to do all this work? I would love to be making more power but the damn ecu is my weak point lmao
Have you guys thrown any bigger turbos on 20+ powerstrokes? Really anxious to see a 67g2 on one and to see how much hp the stock fuel will do.
powerstrokes blow up all by them selves... no need to add a bigger turbo

There’s been a post about several L5P 10 speed trans issues. Have you seen any?
We personally haven’t and our builds all make 550 plus for years now. Just dropped a new D1 on a 21 2 weeks ago
What kind of boost pressure can the oe 62 handle. Mind you (not all the time and i understand this isnsitutuonal and obviously depends. But an accocasional whoop whoop 44psi too high?) Asking for a friend

Nothing so far ! Truck does have a shift kit in it !
Do you have a video of a stock L5P on the dyno to show how much hp it puts out? I have pulsar tuner and WC fab piping and am pretty happy with it for now, im thinking a turbo may be next.

I have heard the l5p will handle more horse power and torque compared to the 6.7 power stroke! True or false? I have been told the l5p is the best built in stock form
They hands down Will ford rods are the weak point ! The L5P against a 5th gen cummins is a close battle power matched equal
