    Adam is very charismatic teacher. I love all Engvid teachers but my favourite is absolutely Adam.

    This is fantastic! And also, it only goes to show how much we DO need grammar!!! People over the Internet tend to overlook or underrate grammar books and focus on the "practice", on "real life". Those aspects are not wrong to be considered, but they, alone, don't hold water!

    I love my language, Brazilian Portuguese (Brazil) and I'm very good at it.
    But I also love your language, English, well-spoken, written, as my language.
    I can't speak or write your language well, but maybe overhearing I hear you speaking and understand what you are teaching.

    I am your new pupil . When i hear you , i can understand everything . In street or in tv is very difficult . I speak spanish and now learning english here in Toronto ( vaughan). I won't give up. Thanks by your advaices. I hope writing without mistakes. Bye.

      Shaikh Asghar 👨🏻‍🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. I have an answer to your question. Adam used ‘each of these verbs’ where ‘each’ is singular but the set of verbs is plural. Thus: Each verb works like this (example here) like this (example here) and so on. It is grammatically sensible to shorten this list to what Adam said.

    By the way sir, can you suggest us an "good" English grammar book? I would like to take the IELTS (maybe in 2023 or maybe in 2024, I mean the CDT). There are many titles but do you "prefer" or like one particularly?
    Thank you (and all the members of engvid of course ) for the effort you put on these videos (I know I must sound like a chimp right now but hopefully I´ll speak like a manager by the end of 2024 :) ).

    Hey Adam, which could be a good grammar book, in your opinion? Is "English grammar in use" a good one? Or maybe if you could recommend a grammar book that is complete. I acquired english, didn´t learn it, so I´m going through the basics now to study as an ESL teacher. I am realising just know I know nothing about grammar. So thank you so much for your lessons!!
