hi, Adam!) I love your lessons so much) actually, I might be one of your oldest fans and you are someone who always brightens my day up. I hope to see your smile more often! thanks for everything that you do, a lot of students love your lessons, your energy, your charisma) keep it up! I'm looking forward to your new topics and videos)
This is fantastic! And also, it only goes to show how much we DO need grammar!!! People over the Internet tend to overlook or underrate grammar books and focus on the "practice", on "real life". Those aspects are not wrong to be considered, but they, alone, don't hold water!
I love my language, Brazilian Portuguese (Brazil) and I'm very good at it. But I also love your language, English, well-spoken, written, as my language. I can't speak or write your language well, but maybe overhearing I hear you speaking and understand what you are teaching. Gratitude for the post.
I am your new pupil . When i hear you , i can understand everything . In street or in tv is very difficult . I speak spanish and now learning english here in Toronto ( vaughan). I won't give up. Thanks by your advaices. I hope writing without mistakes. Bye.
Well, I couldn't leave my comment in the quiz box, but I just wanted to say to you, thank you so much to teach us and take the time to create a single quiz for each section. I am already in my home city, although I continue practicing and learning thanks to you. I miss a lot of Toronto.
@@pandirisuresh6931Hi! No, I'm not. I went to Toronto to study there the last year. But being there I watched every EngVid RUclips video in order to learn and practice my english.
Thanks Adam. You're the best teacher. I mean all other teachers on EngVid are also good. I've been watching your video lessons for a long time. I'd like to do a request. Could you please do a lesson about the embedded clauses?
*Dear Honorable Grammarlogist Teacher,* I am Shekhar Banerjee from Satkhira, Bangladesh. Could you kindly recommend any *good English grammar book.* Thanks for your lecture and valuable time.
‘English grammar in use’ is a really helpful book for me, while I’m trying to find another good one and looking forward to recommendations given by Adam.
Shaikh Asghar 👨🏻🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. I have an answer to your question. Adam used ‘each of these verbs’ where ‘each’ is singular but the set of verbs is plural. Thus: Each verb works like this (example here) like this (example here) and so on. It is grammatically sensible to shorten this list to what Adam said.
Hi Adam! Many thanks again, really appreciate that. This video is essential for me as L2 learner. I do love learning English since I was in junior high school, now I am in the mid fifty 😊.....Anyway, do you have a good grammar book that you recommend us using it? Or, your own book for free? So that we are as L2 learners can download it. Please let us now. Once again, big thanks Adam, you are the best....
Hi ! Thx Adam for all these very practical and clear lessons. Today after this vidéo, I am looking for a good grammar book for an intermediate. Do you have some references for us ?

Hi Adam, I like your lessons. Can you prepare video that contains all tenses. Maybe comparison differences between them with table. Thanks. (Sorry my English, If there mistake)
I love this man (I´m so sorry Rebecca but I´ll never "speak like a manager" :) ) ! Just kidding, I love Rebecca too (why was not she my mother? :) ) By the way sir, can you suggest us an "good" English grammar book? I would like to take the IELTS (maybe in 2023 or maybe in 2024, I mean the CDT). There are many titles but do you "prefer" or like one particularly? Thank you (and all the members of engvid of course ) for the effort you put on these videos (I know I must sound like a chimp right now but hopefully I´ll speak like a manager by the end of 2024 :) ).
Thank you so much Mr .Your videos are so good and useful and I really appreciate you.Would you please give us some technic that how we can remember vocabularies and how make sentences . I have composition class and I have really problems with use varieties words.......
Hello T.Adam😊😊 Thanks for all good things you did for us🤩 We really really really appreciate it😁😁😊 By the way, i have a question here 😊, So do you mind answering it😊 I want candy---->"candy "here is an object, but isn't it also a noun??😕
Hi sir, i have just discovered your network on yt, its simply amazing and have subscribed all of your channel. Please can you tell me which accent do you use... By the way making a video about every teacher's accent will be very interesting 😃😀
Hello, I'm French and l often look at your courses. To day l didn't understand very well what you call a BE verb and why it is called like this. Is there any connection with the verb to be?
Granmaman Mamou 👨🏻🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. I have an answer to your question. Be and To Be are the same verb. Adam uses a Canadian form in his video.
Hey Adam, which could be a good grammar book, in your opinion? Is "English grammar in use" a good one? Or maybe if you could recommend a grammar book that is complete. I acquired english, didn´t learn it, so I´m going through the basics now to study as an ESL teacher. I am realising just know I know nothing about grammar. So thank you so much for your lessons!! Highly recommendable :)
Frederic Diaz 👨🏻🏫 Hello, Frederic. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. My answer to your question is they are both correct. You could also say ‘Yes’ but it could appear brusque or rude.
chandra parkash 👨🏻🏫 Hello, Chandra. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. Have you tried Amazon Books for titles you could use? You could contact your nearest university with an education department for advice on becoming a teacher.
Once you've finished this lesson, make sure to watch the other videos in this series!
