It was very good to see Paire actually play like he cared and would extend some real effort to winning. He is a gifted and creative player, but this is one of the few matches that he acted competitive. Good luck to him this tournament and in the future.

I get excited but scared at the same time every time I watch grigor play. he has so much talent and is fun to watch but manages to lose against opponents I think he should be able to beat.

Same here to the point, I don't watch his matches. I cringe, I shout at the screen. It's not good for my anxiety. And yet his game is one of the most beautiful to watch, and he can hurt Top players. I still remember his 2017 AO semifinal match against an inform Rafa, 6-4 in the final set. It was anyone's match to win. He has had very little close to level ever since.

@@peterpunsalan9467 we haven't really seen that level of tennis from him since the 2017 match against rafa. Closest performance I can think of is 2019 us open against Fed but other than that, he's been down on his luck ever since, which fucking sucks cuz he's my favorite player besides Roger.

He might make a Quarters at best... For 6'5 His Serve isn't nearly as deadly as it could be. Not as accurate as the top players for free points, and his forehand is very loopy and doesnt sting! Very creative and gifted, but not skilled enough to ever get past a Quarters at best.

Any player who lost to Paire in a Five Set match should consider retiring from Tennis.
Dimitrov defeated Medvedev 4 months ago at Indian Wells. And he lost to Paire today.
AO is Dimitri's best GS. And this is how he is playing now.
Two of the big 3 are not there. Next Gen are not showing any consistency. And Dimitrov became this.

Lovers of Australian politics thinks that my ideas about Australia are bizzare in this case.
I guess it's not bizzare for a billion dollar organization to send an invitation, say that they will pay for the trip give you all the requirements for entry, speak to the state and have the state agree and than zip it's mouth while the person they invited languishes in a camp or prison, call it what you will.
It's not bizzare that your personal belongings are stolen, however temporarily while your loved ones do not of your condition.
It's not bizzare that your employment is threatened and your initial costs, because of the innvitation are rising.
It's not bizzare that you are a totally healthy person with NO sign of any infection and on top of that papers to prove it.
It's not bizzare for a person to languish in that prison or camp unless you can hire lawyers that cost an arm and a leg to speed up the process.
It's not bizarre that after you spend an arm and a leg to get a judicial body to hear you out and sanely tell everyone that you are not a danger to society, someone comes out from under a stink pile bureaucratic rat dropillings says that the judicial body is a NOBODY and that a person has to endure more torture.
And that sad bureaucrat gives the finger to all the people that THOUGHT they voted in western values.
If I can list all of these moronic things the Australian government has put in place , just wait for the lawsuit.
