My Mom was a real tough old bird. I never heard her complain about anything my entire life, even when it was obvious she was sick but still taking care of us and her house. But when she got shingles ... she was hurting and complaining about the pain every day! But still working! It was heart breaking! Get better soon Brother, you are in our prayers!

My Mum and Grans were similar, didn't get shingles but, just kept goin. Dad's Mum was still walking 5 miles a day at 97. Down hill to shop then up hill back to house. We had cars, she wouldn't let us pick her up, her groceries were a different kettle of fish. 😂😂

My mom was the same. She had several situations requiring surgery and even had cancer, but never complained until she got Shingles.

Hi Philly. I wrote a longer comment in your other vid - the one where you were lying on the hammock as thumbnail. TLDR: I think it's a bad idea to repair/ improve the big ancestral house & it's better if you & Lot build a smaller house of your own within the compound/ property. I'm a Filipina & I know a bit of real estate law in PH. There are many disputes re: land. The courts are inundated with them. The disputes usually happen when the head of the family dies (in this case, grandma/ grandpa) and the descendants fight over the land. Caveat emptor. Good luck in your future plans.

hey philly take some oregano oil 4 to 5 drops mixed with a tablespoon of pure unfiltered unprocessed raw coconut oil by mouth internally also you can use the same ingredients same dosage to rub on the shingled area it should solve you conditions in 2 to 3 days. also blackseed oil tablespoon internally and about a teaspoon on the shingled area

@@PhillyinthePhilippines I’ve had the shingles about 15 years ago totally cured my problem so far 🤞but oregano can be taken daily it’s a hot 🥵 oil that’s why you have to put the drops in a carrier oil like coconut oil but coconut oil has health healing properties also the raw unfiltered unprocessed version oregano has many benefits and health properties on it’s own anti inflammatory anti viral anti bacterial and many more so does black seed oil but it’s nasty 🤮 taste is like kerosene and motor oil but king tut was buried with it in his toom and it cures everything but death 😂but joking aside just read up on it and you will be surprised how much it helps the body in overall health benefits including the shingles hopefully this will give you an idea and hopefully 🙏 it helps you take care Philly.

We had one of those in our yard about a week ago. We live at the edge of the jungle here in Cavite. It was found by my 5 dogs. The lizard had bitten one of my dogs on the ear. That was when Lilly, my hunter dog went into action and bit the Lizard. At that time, the lizard went into playing dead as all the dogs were barking and sniffing it. My wife then took it and tossed it into a more jungly lot. Yeah, I do like living in the jungle areas. The sound are amazing.

Thanks Brian, another great update vlog to the future province life. With RUclips aside, I wanted to ask what your plans are for keeping yourself/mind engaged when the move is complete. It does look like the expat population is going to be small and spread out. It can be challenging but no less important as we get older to keep our minds challenged. I was wondering what your initial thoughts were on the subject. Will you move down full time, will. you be doing vlogs to show how you will be adjusting to the slower pace of life? I have been in the same situation when I lived in Belize....that is why I ask.

@PhillyinthePhilippines Gabapentin is great for relieving nerve pain, but take great care to take it properly. You have to ease into it, taking one a day for the first week and then increasing by one pill a week until you hit the desired dosage. Same thing in reverse when you come off of it. You should never skip a dose while you're on it. It was originally developed as an anti seizure drug and can trigger seizures if not taken properly. Other than that, the stuff is a miracle. After 3 years of walking around feeling lung shot every day due to my spinal cord slowly being cut by damaged cspine vertebrae my American trained doctors couldn't detect, I found an Indian/UK/American trained Neurologist that diagnosed it on my first visit, got me an emergency MRI that same day to confirm his diagnosis and had me starting Gabapentin and seeing a Neuro Surgeon the next day. The Gabapentin completely relieved the pain about 15 minutes after I took the first one. No dopiness or drowsiness or any other side effect. It just stopped the pain until the Surgeon could get in and work his magic and fix my vertebrae.

Hi guys, great video, again. Getting more jealous!!!
Not worried about critters, lived in Southern Africa for a while. My buddy there, used to have elephants wandering thru his garden, back in the good okd days! Lol
Monitor lizard( go 6 feet in Africa, much shorter than crocodiles!(, tastes like chicken, so don't waste it.!!snake also, tastes like chicken..
As for that yucky shingles, when you get home, get hokd of quails eggs to eat, 5 a day ir so
They are very high in vitamin B12. Promotes healthy nerves.
Avoid caffeine and sugars( including, white rice, pasta and white bread!).
More about quaiks eggs here. (Btw , have relatives from Germany staying in Dau( Red Planet), Supposed to be doing the pinatube trek thus weekend ( fancy being a guide?!! Lol!).
Quail eggs, compared to chicken eggs, can provide greater amounts of protein, iron, vitamin B12 and healthy fats. They also boast properties that can help treat allergies, reverse cellular damage and help your nervous system.

Nice, I like the Bolo, I've seen them in WW2 movies. I'd love one. but all that stuff Downunda you need a license for any guns and weapons. Its like we're going to have to get a Collectors or Sellers License. Real impressed Miguel's got his own place. Seen the Snare Traps on a few shows, Don't like'm catching tigers an elephants but lizards are a different matter. Roosters could be quieter but, other birds are real kool, cept plovers move other local birds out. You get over your shingles m8, you and yours stay vertical Eh!
