Thanks so much for sharing your journey! I'm having my DM with axillary lymph node dissection surgery on 2/16 & this helped me know what to expect. Your strength & spirit are an inspiration! Hope you're doing amazing! 💖
You are such an inspiration to many women out there including me! I have also a BC! It's called Invasive Ductal Carcinoma stage 11. We have the same kind of treatments. Chemo first then surgery then Radiation and some hormonal pills I guess. But my chemo is alot than you! Mine is 16 and yours is only 8. You're luckier than me! Now, I am confused why I have 16 chemos?
My friend Tonya had cancer when we were in junior high and she gets nauseous when she sees any red liquids because she had the “red devil” chemo. She’s 32 years cancer free.
You’re amazing you can’t imagine how much you have helped others I have enjoyed watching your journey and I hope you are doing fantastic blessings always
So glad to see you looking like your real self again. Your journey was so emotional for me. Thank God you have a loving husband to support you the whole way. I wish I had that.
I don’t have cancer but I just love your spirit and learning about your treatments and such! Happy, inspiring, and bright vibes just beam off of you. I love your channel and I hope your journey is going well!!
Wow! I’ve been following you Abby, and you are a warrior! I’ll be starting radiation in August some time. One more cat scan before I start the final phase of treatment. God bless you and keep posting! You help lots of us. ❤️💕
Reading the bible out loud healed my neck one night, my bones , joints and whole body felt so much stronger. I have read of it healing other things not just necks so do it daily. You can look up healing scriptures online or read any of it.

Your are amazing and thank you for showing us! I am going to a bilateral mastectomy on Oct💓and then radiation... at right now I still in chemotherapy #2 round of Taxol 10 more to go 🙏🏽🤍💙
Thank you for sharing your experience and I'm glad you're doing well! I had a double mastectomy with 2 lymph nodes removed and tissue expanders 4 weeks ago, and will be doing TC chemo, followed by radiation and hormone therapy (UNC/Rex as well). I I was just wondering if you noticed any tightening or issues from the radiation with your reconstruction at all? I plan to go with the implant exchange after, but they also had me talk to the specialists for the flap, if I choose that option, as they say the skin sometimes ends up pulling in that area, so I figured I'd ask your experience with that.
Hey! I’m so happy you found my video and hopefully found it helpful. To answer your question after radiation yes my skin has tightened up quite a bit. I have to do stretches daily to make sure the skin doesn’t get too tight and uncomfortable. The only other thing is after radiation and the skin tightening on that side it stays up higher and my other boob dropped a little lower so they’re not completely even but I’m also not completing because they still look great. If I keep up with stretches, I have no problems.
@@abbeymotta Thanks for the tips! I did read that stretches are helpful, so I'll have to start those! Plus, different boobs are the new normal at this point, so I don't think I'll be complaining either :)
Hi I’m in nc also just started mt radiation for breast cancer. Did you have implants during your radiation. Hope you don’t mind me asking I had my double mastectomy went direct to implants. Then did chemo and now doing radiation. I was just wondering if radiation affected implants if you had them were there any changes to your breast from radiation. I’ve been looking everywhere to see if radiation will affect breast implants. Thank you for your videos I’ve watched them all when I was about to start my breast cancer journey they helped me so much.
Heyyy! No, I do not mind you asking at all! So after my double mastectomy, they put me in expanders, and I had radiation with expanders. Once my skin healed I was able to get my expanders out and implants put in. But they wanna make sure you’re at the size you want to be because after radiation it shrinks your skin and it cannot be stretched after a radiation.
@@abbeymotta thank you they originally did not think u would have chemo or radiation so they went straight to implants ended up needing both so now I’m stuck.
Reading the bible out loud healed my neck one night, my bones, joints and whole body felt so much stronger too. I've read of other healing miracles from bible reading aloud so do it daily, I believe it can heal anything. Look up healing scriptures online or read any of it.
Abbey: I just finished with 8 chemo treatments, bilateral mastectomy (no reconstruction) and now I face 6 weeks of radiation everyday. Can you give me some words of encouragement? I am tired from all the doctor visits and prodding and poking and . . . I am so over it.
It is going to be really annoying having to go every day... but when you get to the end of it all you will have accomplish something a lot of people can’t even imagine. You are strong 💪🏻 you are fighting the biggest battle and you will win!!! Make sure to use lotion every day and stretch as much as you can. You got this!! If you ever need to talk to someone or complain about everything I’m here and I will listen. Keep fighting you got this!!!
@@abbeymotta Thanks for the tips as I will use them. Thank you for the support. I have a call with my social worker tomorrow and I will tell her the same thing. If someone needs a shoulder to lean on, I will be there to help them. Pink sisterhood is so strong and positive.

damn I dont know you but I hope you get through this
Your eyes and face are so beautiful.
Awe thank you so much! One side of my mouth and drupes a lot when I talk so I get self-conscious about it.
❤️
How you feel after 3 year 😊
I’m doing really well! Still cancer free and living my best life. I still go in for checkups and get regular tests done.
I cannot use Dawn dish washing liquid. I used it initially during chemo and had to stop. I will vomit if I smell it now.
I totally do that with the smell of hand sanitizer! If I smell it, it’s game over 🤣. ❤️❤️
Are you cancer free now
I haven’t had been told those words yet.. I hope so 🤣 but I still have a few more doctors visits and surgery’s ahead of me
@@abbeymotta wishing you all the best
I hate the word breast too!
