This is a great video. exactly what I needed - confirmation - the wiring diagram is correct, and great approach. I thought about trying to tap into the driver side door, but I have no doubt your method is the correct and best method. I also searched and found the parking lights (but my Tacoma's front end is apart from a recent accident and I can only confirm red tail lights blink) - and they are correct per the Toyota wiring sheet (in your video) . You need to tap into the back of the fuse panel - to the green wire (the negative purple-red wire in the front didn't work for me). I removed the fuse panel to lower the panel slightly and gain access across the top. I used T-Taps and the overall job was relatively simple. Access to the parking lights was about the hardest part - so if you don't care about them - don't bother to connect to them! Thank again for posting the video!
Wow. After sifting through a dozen videos. Yours is the only one (in English at least) that actually does a good job. Just like explaining it to a 4 year old adult. Thanks!
Anyone looking to wire the turn signal lights. You will need to wire the 2 brown wires from the box harness to the green and green/white wires under the steering column.
I like your video! It's showing something special. Therefore here's my question on trying to install a keyless system on my 2003 RAV4, where do you find the central door manual for your specific car. Which term I can use to find for my RAV4 because I don't know which wire, or pin section correspond to the door central locking.... Hoping you understand my question.
very nive thanks for the vid. only question i have is there are two pos wires, (white and white/red) which one do you tap into for the constant power or doesn't it matter?
Good morning, thanks for sharing the information, very helpful. I have been looking for the wiring color guide for the 2019 Toyota Tacoma access can but no luck so far. Any recommendations?
Seems like a lot of people here are stuck on finding the correct diagram for their vehicle. In my experience, Google searching for diagrams was not enough. You need to find a database within which you can search for your particular year. I found this one, it looks legitimate to me. I'll be using it to install my own: www.the12volt.com/installbay/vehicles.html

Great video very clear and concise, also making sense of the diagram.. The unit i bought didn't have instructions as clear as yours.

Are you talking about the wires coming off the 22pin at the fuse box?
Is there any real benefit to wire the turn signals
Great video.. made my install easy.. thanks!

I have a 1999 Tacoma and would like to know where you ordered the wiring harness for the key less entry?

Great information! Thanks for sharing. Wondering if you can help me find the wiring color guide for the 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Thanks again.
You was helpful but type c is the ground 2 wires not type b. B type you add to 12v. But I figured that out
I’m struggling with this - how do you add a ground to a positive wire?

Go to Autozone. Enter your vehicle make/model and search under electrical.
I can't hear you.
What method did you use to splice the red to the constant power? Also I'm assuming black goes to the ground as well?
LulzBeast go to the commando car alarms website for the diagram I used! Hope it works out
There are better ways to splice into the harness, look into it. 🤙🏼
