With recent development of foldables (regardless of brands), I feel sincerely sorry for iPhone users who can only buy new iPhone just because of green bubble 😂
Why do I always read on RUclips tech channels comments about foldable slim phones being a positive thing?! Is it positive and a good thing for the phone to be slim as biscuits so it will break in half so easily?! A foldable phone is a premium phone. Premium means quality and durability, which means the phone has to be heavy (a little bit) so you can feel the weight and the materials in your hand. Otherwise if its too low weight then its like holding a plastic phone toy.
Do you even own a foldable to have an opinion on this? I have the Honor Magic V3, and it’s 9.2mm when folded. Sure, it doesn’t look like it would survive if I forced it to bend in the wrong direction, but that’s not something that would happen by accident. Despite its thinness and lightweight design, it feels premium to me, and I genuinely love it. I wouldn’t want it to be any thicker or heavier, as it already feels slightly on the heavier side and a bit too thick when folded. Also, with these thin foldables, you can add a case without it becoming uncomfortably bulky. I'm rocking a case on mine to help it survive as long as possible.
@@smokyz_ your message wasnt friednly and you should learn how to address other people. Yes I have foldable samsung and vivo, and I know what Im talking about.
I really wish oneplus/Oppo would get rid of the 3 app limitation on the open canvas. Samsung supports like 12 apps at once? (3 main, 8 popup and 1 video player?) The open canvas has the potential to open more than just 3 apps. Nobody would use it, but it would be super hecken cool.
What would be the purpose though? I don't think I've ever had a need to have more than 3 open at once and generally that's just the Bank app, checkbook app, and calculator
I don't know how people here can afford upgrading their foldable every generation or even own more of them 😂 I personally would have to skip but maybe I'll get the gen after

@scaryifliteral yeaaaaa you're right but I got one used and I'm already experiencing the future from Canada. I can tell you this thing is a beast. Battery life itself is just insane, not to mention the thickness. @@carriebeary8 I'd mostly agree. The multitasking is definitely not up to par to Oneplus, but then no foldable really compares to the Oneplus canvas (which I truly love) . I love my OnePlus open and i believe it in what you just stated. Too many drink the Samsung koolaid and think other companies cant produce what they say they're going to do, or should do. SHANE..... QUESTION do you think they'll have a stylus for this, and if so ,will it be available to us in the USA
So far, no word on that front.
The only reason I returned my one plus open was there was a dead pixel and I live in Illinois . They expect u to just ship ur phone to Bangladesh for a month or two without a replacement .. lmao no thank the pixel 9 pro fold is fire
🧐I'm assuming you bought it from OnePlus directly instead of Amazon/Best Buy with their added insurance.
@jermainemouzon4909 brought it from Amazon said they couldn't do anything and to contact one plus
I hated the pixel 9 profold. My one plus blew it out of the water with the multi tasking
With recent development of foldables (regardless of brands), I feel sincerely sorry for iPhone users who can only buy new iPhone just because of green bubble 😂
How many suspected uodates...7 years I hope
A nother phone going too big 😢😢😢😢😢
I want it
I really wish oneplus/Oppo would get rid of the 3 app limitation on the open canvas. Samsung supports like 12 apps at once? (3 main, 8 popup and 1 video player?) The open canvas has the potential to open more than just 3 apps. Nobody would use it, but it would be super hecken cool.
How do you even get anything done with all those apps open 😅
What would be the purpose though? I don't think I've ever had a need to have more than 3 open at once and generally that's just the Bank app, checkbook app, and calculator
I don't know how people here can afford upgrading their foldable every generation or even own more of them 😂 I personally would have to skip but maybe I'll get the gen after
Seriously...people need to calm down.
Of course a new device is great but Jesus these are costing a lot. Just wait a year after it drops and you can get it at half price
Or honestly get the gen 1 open and you'll save even more savings. The open is still going to be usable until 2028, which is the last year it will get a security update
At least mine are tax deductions.. lol
Google pixel 10 Pro is the phone I am looking forward too don't really care about the OnePlus
Seriously Shane, I didn't give two shits about it until your coverage of Oxygen OS 15. Now I'm in a holding pattern keeping the Fold 6 until see them unveil this thing.
Honor magic v3 anyone?
Except I don't have to import it.. lol
@scaryifliteral yeaaaaa you're right but I got one used and I'm already experiencing the future from Canada. I can tell you this thing is a beast. Battery life itself is just insane, not to mention the thickness. I do really miss one plus open's canvas multitasking though, so I will be replacing this when v2 hits the market (even though it would be a tad thicker but at the same time bigger battery so I think they made the right choice if these leaks are true)
I tried it and didn't like it. The software was not up to post with the One plus Open in my experience
@@carriebeary8 I'd mostly agree. The multitasking is definitely not up to par to Oneplus, but then no foldable really compares to the Oneplus canvas (which I truly love) . But there are other areas where Honor shines, like the app folders being resizable to expose app activities. There are definitely some quirks with it, but most of it can be fixed with some effort. But I can't wait for the oneplus2, Honor v3 is a placeholder for me.
@ ya there were definitely some pretty cool features on the honor
Hi
If No sd card slot, ill pass.
No high-end phone available in the US have an SD slot.
