Oh I've missed these types of UK vlogs. Your home is absolutely gorgeous I could happily move in 🤣. The garden is beautiful (gardens are my jam) and looks quite Australian/Californian in its design style...part of your kitchen area and bringing the outside in. Just perfect!
In case you want zo do it, I would recommend to paint the metal garden furniture with an anti-rust paint. It will make them last forever and you do not have to pack them away in the fall/winter month

Love the pink jeans! I bought a similar pair earlier this year which are Levi's 501 90s jeans but they look really similar. Also I especially appreciate the nesting content at the moment as we are moving house and in need of many new things and new ideas.

Dreadful weather???? I could not do some jobs as it was so hot. Come on Lizzie we had so much sun I am glad it is going for the sake of my skin. It was 30 degrees last week and only just going to 20's. We had a long spell without rain and badly needed it. I love our summers as i hate to be too hot and like to sleep. Autumn is lovely so let's be cheerful and look forward to autumn leaves, conkers, acorns, hot chocolate and cosy eves. Crispy morns and change of wardrobe, pumpkin soup and baked potatoes. Halloween and excited children and then Christmas with all its fun.
French Connection so classy - give that bed life. You need some art above your bed. Feminine pink jeans lovely - you are very thin so will be baggy on you but not others. Wouldn't it be sad if your priority was special ice cubes ? :-)

In terms of wine I know just a bit of the basic knowledge & my personal taste in it.
Red wine I don't drink
But white & rosè
First I look at the label and see if it's cute or cool, then I look at the description label and if the wine is for with fruit and desserts that means its a sweet wine
If the wine goes with fish it's a dry wine
If it goes with both it's more in-between dry & sweet.
Also the color : with white wine the yellower the sweeter.

I loved the colour of the bedding in your main bedroom - can you say where you got it? I've got wall paper (that I love and don't want to change) in my main bedroom that quite limits my colour palette to pinks/plums, grey or white.

New York is so polluted and busy and know you love it but it does not have the lovely old buildings that London does or the history or Chelsea and Greenwich or Hyde Park and Belgravia etc etc. As for John Lewis I bought a hoover from them and it lasted a year and will not be buying much from them after that.

A lot of RUclipsrs talk openly about this as it's so helpful to other people who want to buy a home. It also helps set expectations and acknowledges privilege. For example, was this home purchase and furniture made possible due to family wealth or your personal income from work or a mix of both? That kind of information level sets things for viewers and those wanting similar things in the furniture for themselves. I understand that you don't have to share this information but putting it out there as others may be curious as well.

I find your videos so comforting but, I really wish to see more thought on the amount of consumption of clothes affects our planet. It feels a bit outdated with so much ordering of new clothes all the time.
