Not really, Buddy was a major narcissist that took pride in inventing things for himself. I doubt he would have let someone else design his suit. Not to mention he wouldn't even know who she is.
What if Syndrome (AKA IncrediBoy/ AKA Buddy) was actually Mr. Incredible's son? When they first met Mr. Incredible was single but a man like that probably wasn't a virgin. Maybe he got a girl pregnant and never knew about it. Then when Buddy was old enough his mom told him. So Buddy tried to be like him. Because he was only half Super he never got any powers. Or maybe he did inherit a super power. Intelligence. Intelligence can be a power just like Strength and would allow him to compete. Thats why his head was so big. When he tried to help Mr. Incredible he was rejected, Not just by his idol but by his own father. This killed him. Without a super father in his life there was no one to tell him how to deal with his powers and so he used them for evil. He killed off all of his dad's known friends and then went after him, saving him for last.
And some make 0 sense at all. Like the Toy story one.. it barely makes sense let alone actually connect the two franchises ( pretty sure it doesn't even try)
i think, that he just wanted to be recognize, he looked up to Bob, because he saw him as a rolle model and then, Bob refused him. Imagine if you look up to someone and then he acct like this. It just hurts him..so much, he want to show Bob, that he can do it. He can be as good as he is. That he can be better. It wasn't nothing but pain, pain of little boy who was let down by person who he admired. I know he killed some people, but look it up for his side.
"Syndrome is secretly the hero." The next one: "Edna Mode saw how evil Syndrome was and designed him a cape to kill him" Great consistency there. I go with "Syndrome could have been a hero if he didn't get so obsessed with Mr. Incredible"
Snugg’s wife is Edna Mode, their kid is Violet, and she was adopted after her parents couldn’t live with her constant creepy closet checking/monster insanity. 🤯
The idea still doesn't make much sense - if Syndrome came to her to design a suit for him (which is questionable) and Edna truly suspected Syndrome of being up to no good, why stop at just adding a cape? Why not sick her high-tech security on him (like those gun turrets at the entrance of her work shop) instead?
Her personality is different because shes supposed to be a moody teenager. The entire family has different powers. Helen and Snug being close doesn't automatically mean that he's Voilets father. Her hair is different than the others because of genetics. She couldn't have been adopted from parents that we're killed by Syndrome because then the Incredibles would have known that he existed.
How does adoption make it dark? Adoption isn't a dark thing, it's pretty good in real life standards. I don't agree with Violet being adopted, because, come on genetics exist, but adoption doesn't make it dark.
I think Violet possibly gets her hair from Helen Parr's side of the family, being a lot of redheads do have parents with black hair. It just depends on how strong the gene is. Dash and Jack-Jack have hair like their father meaning the genetics is stronger on the blonde gene.
Patches But in real world genetic doesn't work like that, if we assume that the blonde colour is recessive than the brown gene then Helen Parr is a heterozygous brown, coz if she is a homozygous brown then her children's hair colour wouldn't be blonde. And even if Helen had the recessive black hair gene or else she would have black instead of brown hair,(but dominant on blonde) then the rate of getting black and brown haired children are 50% and 0% on blonde hair. The world where the incredibles in has a lot in common with our world like the reaction of the public when the supers got them into too much trouble and the politics in the movie, so its safe to assume that the laws of genetic works the same way with our world.
I doubt "Violet is adopted". I think Elastigirl just dyes her hair. Hair dye is a cheap way to change ones looks (secret identity) or cover grey hair (middle age). At one point Helen tells Violet, "You have more power than you realize. Don't think. And don't worry. lf the time comes, you'll know what to do. It's in your blood." which means that powers have been handed down thru family lines for multiple generations....rather than coming from a government experiment. And the young teen version of Elastigirl seen in the flashback looks alot like Violet. If Violet is adopted it could be that her bio parents don't have powers and had to give her up because they couldn't handle a child with powers...especially if all superpowered children are like JackJack as toddlers.
i don't think since the movie is in 1962, and i doubt that people did that because of stereotypes, those were other times and people thought differently
"It's in your blood" is referencing the fact that she's a child of Supers, not that this is some full lineage. Helen could have been experimented on, and they threw her into the field before fully mastering her powers, a "trial by fire" thing. Makes perfect sense for the 1950's era government to do to their experiment. Which makes even more sense if the Supers program was in response to WWII or an Operation Paperclip-type experiment.
But even when Buddy was trying to be Incrediboy he had a cape, so it's likely he made the suit himself. Plus it's not like it would have to be extraordinarily durable, seeing as it doesn't need to accommodate for superpowers and he's staging his own heroics. All he'd really need is spandex.
After being in the Marines I just realized during the jet aircraft scene where they were spiked and chased by missiles, the radio messages from Helen was almost accurate like in real life. I haven't realized it when I was a kid
Helen Hunt did her research to make it accurate, I also read that this research was due to there being an Air Force pilot who became a crop duster in her family somewhere

1:05 Statements like that make me angry. Airplanes are designed to fly when one engine has failed. The plane Stratogale was sucked into had four engines, so it still had three working engines when she was ingested by the one engine. That plane most likely made an emergency landing at the nearest airport and it has happened in real life as well. A recent example would be the United Airlines Flight 328 incident. That plane lost one of it's two engines and it was able to land successfully without fatalities. So the plane in The Incredibles most likely did the same. It honestly makes me mad when people say stuff like this because there are people who are afraid of flying and false statements like that only make people more scared of flying.
Miryam R I think your dad needs to learn a few things. A quad engine plane can run fine with 3 engines. Even 747s can glide for 210km (20 min) without both engines on.

And then build such a huge and successful business by his early 20s? No matter how smart you are, you can't accomplish any of this without massive resources, guidance, and connections. But what if you have a mother, who is also a super-genius having a lab packed with technology that can emulate super powers (e.g. invisibility suit for Violet) and who is also famous, successful and well-connected? That will do.
yea this makes sense , but if so theres a plot hole in it. being the child.of.edna, he should know how dangerous capes are , yet he still wore one so that doesent make much sense.
you know that commercial planes can fly even when one engine is down right? It's engineering safety to design systems for redundancies. It's unsafe to fly with one engine down, which is why the plane landed. No pilots would ever risk hundreds of lives to meet the plane schedule. But, the plane can still fly if the pilot wants to. It's just not safe
The plane certainly could have landed. Planes are designed to fly with one engine down. There have been many cases of planes successfully landing with one engine not working, with one occurring fairly recently.
Violet ain't adopted. I'll say it was her powers that changed her hair since you can see the violet shade in them. Also blended with her eyes; making them a violet-blue. And which parent has blue eyes? Mr. Incredible. Elastigirl has brown.
Um just bc someone’s hair color is the same doesn’t mean anything 😳plus why would we be worried about boo? Other kids don’t have parents either in monsters inc😕
And that's where you're wrong, kiddo. Studies on heritability of personality show a 0.4 (40%) genetic factor on personality. The remaining factors, however, are- of course- due to environmental factors. The more you know.
She's a teenager. Everybody knows that at that time of life your personality goes through most changes as you try to find your place. Violet's personality is that of a typical teenager. At the end of the movie we get to see how she really is, because she's comfortable with herself now, and that personality strongly resembles that of her parents, especially her mom.
What studies? How many? How many people were tested? (subject pool) Is there a meta study or maybe several ones? Where was it published? Has it been recreated??
@ Ro Calvo Here's the abstract of the meta-analysis, since you're curious. You can check into it further if you want individual studies. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25961374
The sequel starts directly after the first with the first main villain as the Underminer. The only difference is the slight age gap which is by a few months.
Who said no one was looking for boo? We only see the movie from Mike and Sully's point of view. For all we know, her parents went crazy as hell looking for her.
There's a different RUclipsr. They are they included that Mary change her name to Violet to match her superpowers. Because her Force fields are cough cough violet
Actually, the cape seems to be the most different element of Syndrome's suit, being more black and blue instead of black and white, as it is the case with the rest of his suit. Maybe Edna also warned him like she did with Parr about the dangers of capes but unlike Parr he just decided to make his own cape, which is why it looks slightly different from the rest of the suit
My theory is that Edna mode is stratogale. I think that because maybe when she got sucked into the engine that she secretly survived but her legs were cut off. Then she gave up on hero life and decided to work for heroes designing their outfits. About her legs, she probably got new fake legs but they were short. That's my dark theory
Planes can totally stay up with one engine lost. It actually happens a lot. That plane looked like it had four (plus maybe one on the tail). Losing one would cause problems but bot necessarily immediate crash. No this might not be a problem at all.
his development stage have so many power modes could mean that he comes into more as he ages. Mr incredible has two powers too ...imperviousness & strength.
Tbh I think the reason violet has 2 powers is because of this 1: she is very shy hence the "Invisibility" power 2: she is also kind of protective of herself and others hence the "Force Field" powers She saves dash from the barrage of bullets on the remote island. and being hit by those air crafts while running away from the shooter. and then again protecting everyone from the guns on the air craft a few minutes later and then from the omnidroid back home. And also when the jet or whatever it was that syndromes cape got caught in crashed on top of their house. Mr incredible aka bob 1: has the mentality that a man has to do everything and needs to be the person to protect the family. Hence the imperviousness power 2: also a mentality thing with him is that a man needs to be strong to protect people and if they aren't strong then they can't protect someone. Hence the strength power. Mrs incredible aka Helen 1: was probably into gymnastics or cheerleading when she was in high school hence the "Elasticity" powers. Dash 1: has an urge or almost a need to always keep moving and is full of energy and loves sports and anything physical. Hence the Speed powers. And Jack jacks personality has yet to be set in stone I think once he gets older his powers will start to set as well or if he's like violet and Bob he may have 2 or more powers just like them depending on personality traits anyway that's just my theory
The syndrome being the hero theory doesn’t make any sense. Didn’t he make the robots himself just so he could save the day and be the hero? It’s been a while since I’ve watched it so I might be wrong but I thought he designed them
Sean Robertson he did a very poor job of explaining it has more to do with the general theme of the movie versus his point of View, the overall theme of the movie seems to be unless you're super special you shouldn't even try yet syndrome was not special he was a self-made man. That's the idea at least. It's also not a theory so much as people philosophically disagreeing with the movie

The real question is:
*Where is my super suit?* (sorry couldn't help myself)
TinyŌkami The real question is:
Do u kno de wae?
Lol XD
I put it away
Pokemaniac NO
Taffychips no no here's the real question :
wats my 17 babys powers
OH MY GOSH BOO AND VIOLET HAVE THE SAME HAIR COLOR!!! THEY MUST BE RELATED!!!! Because no matter what hair color always shows that people are related.
Damn, all of Asia must be related then.
chaosmastermind 😂😂😂😂
Lucy Engman I don't know about that
Um just bc someone’s hair color is the same doesn’t mean anything 😳plus why would we be worried about boo? Other kids don’t have parents either in monsters inc😕
Lucy Engman
It’s not just cause of the hair color. They also look a lot alike.
One thing, personality is not genetic
And that's where you're wrong, kiddo. Studies on heritability of personality show a 0.4 (40%) genetic factor on personality. The remaining factors, however, are- of course- due to environmental factors.
The more you know.
nuture vs nature, also, they wanted a emo teenager
She's a teenager. Everybody knows that at that time of life your personality goes through most changes as you try to find your place. Violet's personality is that of a typical teenager. At the end of the movie we get to see how she really is, because she's comfortable with herself now, and that personality strongly resembles that of her parents, especially her mom.
What studies? How many? How many people were tested? (subject pool) Is there a meta study or maybe several ones? Where was it published? Has it been recreated??
@ Ro Calvo
Here's the abstract of the meta-analysis, since you're curious. You can check into it further if you want individual studies.

Greetings from the future! Wathced incredibles 2. Worth the 13 year wait.
I love the part when she say loudly: *EDNA MODE*
The Violet one is ridiculous....Boo has brown eyes & Violet has blue eyes. Also, not everyone has the same hair color as their parents.
The footage shown at D23 jack jack is still a baby. But the incredibles one starts in the past then time jumps so the sequel could aswell.
+Blukeyy you have a point!
The sequel starts directly after the first with the first main villain as the Underminer. The only difference is the slight age gap which is by a few months.
“EDNA MODE”
"And guest"
lmao that's her name
Alice Higgins hi dahling
Honestly the part when you said that "Violet is adopted" that made me scream "WHAT!!!!!"
Imagine he didn’t say this.
Plot twitst: Violent is adopted
Violet
Not every kid looks like their parents or siblings. My parents are short. I'm tall. Yup, I must be adopted. :D
Greyson Furrington exactly lol
That's actually true don't judge a book by its cover. Let's be honest, they didn't put a lot of thought in that theory
2:56 that smile is creepy
Ollmart he looks like trollface
Omg ikr
Dude it looks like this 👺
Why would she like a guy like that
if your wife is someone like elastigirl, i would smile like that all day
okay maybe not all day, but ya get the picture..
Violet coulda gotten a couple traits from her grandparents....
SpeediraWindira Genetics are WAY more complicated than just dad + mom = new human
SpeediraWindira exactly
SpeediraWindira well yea i have completly diffrent hair than my brothers too lol, they're blonde and i have brown just like my parents
Thank you!! My thoughts exactly
Also I know a lot of teens (I was one of them) that dye their hair black and act all moody..lol
Why is adoption dark I'm adopted
its not dark, its normal and people should be proud about it.
Adoption isn't dark but that theory has been confirmed wrong, knowing that the guy's hair is actually blonde on his concept art.
•cherri• thx
pocketwatch keepsake no problem ^^
•cherri• have a great day
I can totally picture Boo growing up to become Violet.
People really believe the Pixar Theory? C'mon guys, its just easter eggs
Boo's real name is Mary Gibbs but Violet might be her mother which would explain why no one was looking for Boo.
More likely her grandmother--assuming any relation at all.
How could violet be boo’s mother when she is 14 and boo is 2? I don’t think Violet would’ve been pregnant when she was 11 or 12.
violet wasn't adopted because if you watched the deleted scence its shows her younger (baby)
Mugen X Plays Baby adoption is a thing.
Atomic Robo Tesla i know that........ I didnt say it wasn't a thing
Mugen X Plays she could’ve been adopted as a baby still
snkdhendisnbdcu yeah she could have been
Then why did you say she couldn’t be adopted
Actually, the cape seems to be the most different element of Syndrome's suit, being more black and blue instead of black and white, as it is the case with the rest of his suit. Maybe Edna also warned him like she did with Parr about the dangers of capes but unlike Parr he just decided to make his own cape, which is why it looks slightly different from the rest of the suit
Syndrome's first monologue to Mr Incredible is spot on and you can't change my mind.
IM LOOKING FORWARD FOR INCREDIBLES 2!!! SO HYPED!
*DAMN. HELEN THICCC*
After all it’s just a theory.
A Film Theory!
Ian 6 not true dahling
Ian 6 she was my niece
The reason why there wasn't an incredibles 2 for 13 years was that they had a hard time looking for Violet
You win this entire thread lol
There was always one question I wanted to know the answer to. When the heroes went into hiding, what happened to the villains ?
Boo and violet have different iris colors
Who came here after watching trailer of incredibles 2😂😂
Me😂😂😂😂
me
Me😂😂
Me😂
yup
Planes can fly even with one engine. They can make an emergency landing safely, so the first one doesn't count
Edna had a tragic experience herself with capes that she doesn't want anyone to know about
What if andys dad was a super and died ?! :0 what if andys toys are actually drones ?!
qwe6348 that toys theory doesn't seem right bc every toy u see in the toy story franchise are alive
Crystal Blaye haha controlled by a secret organization..
I don´t know how this ruins my childhood...
0:58 is it just me or.. does she look like marinette from miraculous ladybug?
It really does
oh. my. god.
SHE DOES
No it doesn’t
Planes can totally stay up with one engine lost. It actually happens a lot. That plane looked like it had four (plus maybe one on the tail). Losing one would cause problems but bot necessarily immediate crash.
No this might not be a problem at all.
Aah yes. Jack Jack will get a power later. What a deep dark secret. My childhood is surely ruined.
Where is my super suit??????
Best line of the movie
Rodrigo Parra Palma true dat
You tell me where my suit is, woman! We are talking about the greater good!
I am the greater good!!
The incredibles 2 has jack jack the power “jack of all traits
Incredibles 2 takes place right after the oringal
Cam Davidson BEHOLD THE UNDERMINER!
Yeah but it SUCKED!!!!! I HATE that they added all the flashing light patterns that could easily cause seizures. Luckily I was still able to watch it.
so it basically takes place in 1962
If Dash was the villain that would be sooooo cool the should’ve done that for Incredibles 2
This just gets better and better. Oh well time to discuss the soccer world cup now.
Waiting for the incredibles 2!
June 15, 2018
Not just you
the movi is bad
2 months away
anna polk
YEAH!!!!!
The idiots added a million flashing light patterns that could easily cause seizures!!! I could barely watch it
Violet has two powers? So jack jack could end up with lots of powers not just grow up and end up with one
his development stage have so many power modes could mean that he comes into more as he ages. Mr incredible has two powers too ...imperviousness & strength.
Tbh I think the reason violet has 2 powers is because of this
1: she is very shy hence the "Invisibility" power
2: she is also kind of protective of herself and others hence the "Force Field" powers
She saves dash from the barrage of bullets on the remote island. and being hit by those air crafts while running away from the shooter. and then again protecting everyone from the guns on the air craft a few minutes later and then from the omnidroid back home. And also when the jet or whatever it was that syndromes cape got caught in crashed on top of their house. Mr incredible aka bob
1: has the mentality that a man has to do everything and needs to be the person to protect the family. Hence the imperviousness power
2: also a mentality thing with him is that a man needs to be strong to protect people and if they aren't strong then they can't protect someone. Hence the strength power. Mrs incredible aka Helen
1: was probably into gymnastics or cheerleading when she was in high school hence the "Elasticity" powers. Dash
1: has an urge or almost a need to always keep moving and is full of energy and loves sports and anything physical. Hence the Speed powers. And Jack jacks personality has yet to be set in stone I think once he gets older his powers will start to set as well or if he's like violet and Bob he may have 2 or more powers just like them depending on personality traits anyway that's just my theory
Edna is awesome daaaarling
That edna theory is really dark
i heard about this and it did NOT ruin my childhood
The syndrome being the hero theory doesn’t make any sense. Didn’t he make the robots himself just so he could save the day and be the hero? It’s been a while since I’ve watched it so I might be wrong but I thought he designed them
Sean Robertson he did a very poor job of explaining it has more to do with the general theme of the movie versus his point of View, the overall theme of the movie seems to be unless you're super special you shouldn't even try yet syndrome was not special he was a self-made man. That's the idea at least. It's also not a theory so much as people philosophically disagreeing with the movie
he did
No because boo has dark brown eyes and violet has blue eyes
She has blue eyes with purple shades
this channel sure love to talk about the incredible...
Yes they do
The series about Dash being a villain and violet having a different father than her siblings is just... Pushing it.
So awesome to see how this video's "theories" have aged like fine milk on a scorching afternoon on the road.
