Roof is straight and you have extra doors. Section it and stretch the cab backwards to get the few inches you need to be comfortable. Add door panel and window track length from the rotted doors. The only thing you actually lose is door glass, but again, IT'S FLAT glass so it's easy to get those to fit stretch doors in acrylic. Gotta make it comfortable to drive or else you'll end up hating to drive something you worked so hard to have.
Dave: I’m pretty sure I’m done cutting. Also Dave: next scene going at it with the death wheel! Nice work and great progress! Super cool and very unique. Win win
Hey Dave, WOW ! That was a lot of cab cutting. But, It does look pretty cool. Those wheels could work if ya had to use them. Looking forward to the next video on this thing. Take Care
I have watched others do this, and for the first time it makes sense. Thanks for showing all you done. It is never easy, but always accomplishable if one puts their heart and mind into it. Love the look of the binder.
So very cool Dave!!!! Weird Beard re foamed some seats on his Plymouth Fury about a year ago. Probably going to do something similar on the 54. Mike has repaired some chrome trim a time or two on MKS. I'll probably pick up some Delrin or nylon to make chisels and punches to straighten the trim I need to straighten. You are knocking it out!!! Loving the content!!!!
Excellent video Dave :) & family and so cool also come together very good 👍! I like to also put windshield wipers motor plus parts and use longer blades for clean front window too!
@@madgingercustoms I'd never looked into aftermarket. Somebody must make something for street rods. You'd think that some modern compact car would have something that takes up little room. Meh. RainX.

I think the bed is going to be shallow at best!
Dave, is starting to look like a "truck". You might be the next George Barris of this millennium! Can't wait for the finished product!
It's getting exciting to see!
Way to stick with it. Most would have gave up. I like it so far. Looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you, we aren't giving up! Full steam ahead!

WOW!!! Looks really good!
Thanks!!

Let's not kid ourselves, there will be more cutting lol.
@@madgingercustomsof course, but it did make me chuckle.
Casey makes it look so quick and easy. It’s nice that you show how much you have to mess around to get it to fit.
Looks great! I love the stance!!!
He's a full time RUclipsr and has done a bunch of these. I think if I were to do it again I can move twice as fast.
You've got balls Dave!! That was bold.
Just wait!!! It will get worse!
I'm loving the old CT emissions sticker on the windshield.
-Justus from Glastonbury
OG CT farm truck!
I love it when you Slide it in!! Deeply!! lol
Yeah ya do!!
@@madgingercustoms all jokes aside that mini truck as you guys call it Ute as we call it looks like it'll be mad fun!!
Real guy and gal doing real stuff keep it going
Thanks for watching!
I'm really mixed Dave.I really don't like it, but it's your truck.Do whatever you feel like
It's really what I was looking to do when I bought the truck.
I really thought you were daft, but now it's lookin pretty cool. Carry on Dave. Terry 😊
Still daft, but it's coming along!
My daughter and I really enjoy watching your videos ....show us some of the cutting stuff we like to watch real people suffer a little bit 😂
I cut out a lot of the suffering! LOL
The old binder is looking BA!!
It's getting there!
You can probably find some wipers assemblies that mount above the windshield and figure out a way to blend them in. Looking good!
That's a good idea. I'll look into that! Thanks
Hey Dave,

The wheels will stay on till its painted at least!
This is going to be so cool. Nice job.
Thank you!!
Wow! I mean yeah, you have a lot of work to do but that stance is headed in the right direction for sure.
I think it sits right. Maybe bag it later.
I'm really liking the way it's turning out. You're gonna have a sweet little ride when you're done.
I'm certainly hoping it will be!
I have watched others do this, and for the first time it makes sense. Thanks for showing all you done. It is never easy, but always accomplishable if one puts their heart and mind into it. Love the look of the binder.
I'm trying to show enough that people can follow along but move it along fast enough that people aren't bored. sometimes that is tough.
Coming together nicely. I love it.
Yeah I'm pretty happy so far. Thanks for watching!
Wow! That is so good! I hope you’re keeping track of hours. That’ll be interesting to know.
I'm not really keeping track of hours. I think that would scare me off from continuing RUclips!
Nice job, Dave! It looks great!
Thank you!
Great Job! On Top of Working a Full Time Job!
Thanks!!
Awesome, I foresee many quality episodes to come!
I hope I don't disappoint!
Nice job cool car good show 😃👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍

Dave dude, looks sweet, little early to think wheels but some nice steelies with chrome moon dishes.
Now you're talking! Steelies are cool on most vehicles.
It looks Bad A$$! Great progress. Can’t wait to see more.
Thanks! I'm really liking it so far.
Awesome job Dave!
Thanks man! Come over and be in some videos!
I can’t wait to see it in person
Might of hid a winch in that funny front bumper menagerie
Lol maybe!

I'd love to be able to use the wipers but if I can't, I can't.
@@madgingercustoms exactly Dave :)
Looks great, keep up the good work. Welding time!!!
So much welding! I may get the wife and kid out to help!
@madgingercustoms and when your done I got a 51 chevy truck to put on a jag xjs. Think of all the welding you could do
@@docdetroit146 that sounds fun though!
Good one !
Thanks!
sitting nice
Thanks! I do like the stance so far.
Badass!!!!
Thank you!
Sweet it’s looking good it’s surprising how the wheels are actually centered in the fender opening
It may move forward or back a bit but that's about right. I got that nose to fit already. Pics are on our FB account.
Nice!!
Thank you sir!!
I really like it! Great job
Thanks! Going to try to move it along quickly.
wonder if there is some very compact wiper setup on a newish car that could hide in the remains of the cowl?
I may look to see if anything is available aftermarket.
@@madgingercustoms I'd never looked into aftermarket. Somebody must make something for street rods. You'd think that some modern compact car would have something that takes up little room. Meh. RainX.
Nice
Thanks!
Why do I like the way it looks??? I mean I do like it, but I have no clue why.
Hoping it gets even better!
looks good like it
Thank you!
Hi Dave I was wondering if you could tell me what happened at 7:43 lol. Love the build your doing hope it works out the way you hope.👍🇨🇦
I believe that's the point I realize its not going to fit unless I move it all......again!
@@madgingercustoms hahahah I was referring to the clock lol.👍🇨🇦
A little vaseline and a shoe horn it worked just fine
Hit it with speed always works too!
👍👍👍
😎😎😎😎
Can you cut the metal behind the dash and move the dash forward a few inches?
Probably could. It should work like this though......I hope.
I have a question about cabs on fames. So can you get a title as a new build ? Or how does that work?
No idea, this vehicle still has the vin on the cab and that's the title I have and will register it with.
@madgingercustoms I see, awesome..

Thanks for watching!
were any ants harmed in the making of this video?
Only all of them.
Well, you son of a gun, I can use a little laugh heights.I think I could get a little off your kneecaps.I got a bad knee
