Waiehu Martins Singing Oiwi E

Check out Waiehu, student at Kanuikapono Public Charter School in Anahola, jammin ʻOiwi E. As the winner of our Kauaʻi contest, he was flown to Oahu to be featured in a scene of our next video, alongside John Cruz, Taimane and Tavana!
To honor the Cruz ʻohana and Kumu Keola Lake, we are filming a medley of "Island Style" by John Cruz, and "ʻOiwi E", written in Hawaiian by Kumu Lake to a Maori melody.
This will be produced in similar fashion to Hawaii Aloha, where over 1,000 youth and many pro artists will be filmed live across many locations, including the Cruz ʻohana, Jack Johnson, Paula Fuga, Eli-Mac, Natalie Ai Kamauu, Lehua Kalima, Kali Navales of Ooklah the Moc, Josh Tatofi Music, Glenn Awong of Maoli, Kamakakēhau Fernandez, Lion Fiyah, Pomaika'i Lyman and more.
