So what if I had immortality? What would I do with an infinite amount of time? Will I spend my eternal life traveling the world or try to become a cult leader and destroy humanity? Being immortal sounds cool until you realize it's a curse. Today Daniel, Stephen, and Hosuh will go explore the concept of immortality and discuss the possible outcomes.
If I was immortal and could live forever, I honestly think I wouldn't change anything...

I really love the way Stephen always acts like such a carefree guy but this video proved to me that he can be a wise kinda person and tbh I totally agree with what he said about heartbreaks and emotions ,that is the exact same reason why I think most of the people don't understand how agonizing immortality could be(neither do I I've never experienced it but still know that it's not entirely great)
I still feel like any amount of pain experienced long enough will either make you accept it one day or get so numb to it you won’t even care about the lives of anybody

You won’t just feel sad for couple of decades because even I don’t feel the grief of losing a family member 5 years after it happened

seems better to me because otherwise you will not be able to maintain your physical body in the long run as mankind also have life spans.

You get sucked into a black hole and mentally solve one of the biggest questions. What is a black hole? But you have no one to share it with. What Steven was saying about how love would be so painful, can you imagine the person you love most died and you eventually fell in love with someone new, and they went on to die and the same thing happened over and over and over, and then one day you think back to the first person that you initially loved, the pain would be unbearable
I would think the opposite, the more death you experience, the more desensitised. Also the mind would have a theoretical physical limit of how much memory you could store.

I’m so glad you mentioned Ajin, as I was literally about to write a comment about how the immortality ‘rules’ are the same as those in Ajin Demi Human. Also, I just finished it and it is very good.
I’ve always seen immortality as more of a curse than a gift. The most important thing in my life is my family and I couldn’t take it if I had to live an eternity knowing that when they die I’ll never see them again, in this life or the next. My family has gotten me through some really hard times and I couldn’t do that without them.
