Thank you Shamma 💖 I am blushing when you call it a technique, I have never even learned how to do it.. class from Grandma's Footsteps is on my to do list 🤓 Cat babies always are around when it comes to felting 💖
Lovely sparrow! Did you draw it free-hand or did you trace it from something? My drawing needs to improve. I enjoy the music and you calmness. Also, your cats are so cute!
I love the piece but I couldn’t recreate without a template, list of colors/types of wool used and explanation of which colors you’re using to blend and build texture.
Hi Leslie, Thank you for the feedback! This wasn't a tutorial, just a cozy feltalong video. Definitely will create a tutorial with template and all the details in the future for a birdy! Let me know if you have any specific birds you would like to see, I always love to receive ideas!
Watching this next as I’m fascinated how people even do birds any shape or form ! How did you get the outline of the sparrow, is it special pen and is the square a felt material.thank you in advance . 👏😃
Hi! Yes, birds are really special 😍 For the background I use 100% wool felt, 1mm thick. And to transfer the picture in this case I printed the sketch using printer, placed it against window with the felt on top on a sunny day and traced with a pen (pencil works fine too). I talk about it a little bit in my winter scenery video. I am going to show another way in my next 2D video I am about to post in the following weeks. It might be easier one.
That’s lovely 😊
