The tempo, vocal style, and production is very similar to the early 80s style. The only difference is that most Indie Electronic bands don't use the funky bass style as much as the old days.

This song and style is awesome. I wish Neon Indians other songs were more like this. Most of his stuff is too fast paced with too many bells and whistle sounds. This song is slowed down more and sounds great. Like something out of the year 1983. Polish Girl is another great one by him.
