I’ve lived the synthesizer sounds ever since I was a child in the 80’s.
Same here. I have still a double album, The Ultimate Collection Synthesizer Greatest Gold from 1992. I was 11 back then.
But it is not the original sound I think.

I had the first 2 Synthesizer Greatest albums on cassette. I know they were covers but pretty close to the originals. Great to hear a mix of all four of the albums here. For those who haven't heard this stuff before, listen to the originals by these amazing pioneers of the synthesizer, so much better.

For those of you who love synthesizer music, listen to Switched-On Bach, Volumes 1 & 2 by Wendy Carlos. The CDs feature some of J. S. Bach's greatest compositions arranged for the synthesizer. The music is somewhat trippy but has an ethereal and pleasing effect. Unfortunately, due to copyright issues, they are unavailable on RUclips. Libraries (audio CD section), borrowing from a friend, or ordering them online would be your best bet.

Great mix. Still consider Kraftwerk, Yellow Magic Orchestra to be pioneers of synth music as they brought synth music to the fore and most of their music was synth based. I know others may have other opinions, others they consider pioneers etc, my comments are purely my opinion.
