I love Steve Elkins. I have learned so much from his specific teachings on the differences between "children of God" and "sons and daughters of God".

    This was really encouraging.
Question: Eph 5:5 says the word INHERITANCE I believe this is talking about believers because only a believer has any INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM. Any thoughts?

The key words are "unbelieving heart." If one believes the promise of eternal life, they are given eternal life. Believing is KNOWING! When you heard one plus one equals two, you believed to a certain degree that someone was telling you the truth, but when you actually EXPERIENCED that one plus one equals two, you KNEW it was true. You can't UNKNOW that truth no matter what. In fact, revelation means that you know the truth so deeply that nothing can change your belief in that truth. Nobody is teaching that it is okay to continue a life of sin. There are definite consequences. But, the most serious consequence is the sin of unbelief. The Bible tells us that Israel continued to sin because of unbelief. Sin is the result of continuing in unbelief. I don't believe that anyone who believes the promise of salvation would continue in sin because they have the Holy Spirit working in them. I'm not saying they will be sinless, but there will be a constant struggling against the work of the Spirit and eventually they turn from their ways. "A righteous man falls seven times in a day, but an unrighteous man doesn't know when he falls." The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgement. Nobody who is born again can avoid the work of the Spirit in them.

Look it would be helpful if you start with a proclamation and then use your presentation to support it. You popcorn talk for 40 min ugh. Impossible to follow. But you're preaching to a choir, so they are just believing that you are confirming a shared bias. :(
