I think the cell or buu saga fear of earth getting destroyed he tries planting again so using the fruit to save the earth. Not for himself but for goku or gohn. I always thought that Turles being Bardock's younger twin brother would make sense. Also it would be cool to see you do a what if where Goku is raised by Kami instead of Grandpa Gohan.

I feel like the fruit since it does contain the energy of the earth and materials from it, should make the fruit like a super vitamin. the only source i can use that shows the effects of the fruit from positive or negative sources is xenoverse 2 when towa super charged the fruits from the demon realm, it made them monsters in strength. so much so that they could probably fight 3 form frieza with no problems. however it did turn them into a controlled time breaker, since that's what towa wanted. so without that effect to really cause serious damage it should be beneficial in the long run.

When the fruit eater consumes the power it hold. They will undergo painful memories that turtles will face. Till the point it reaches the potential that turtles must overcome to bear the painful past.
I think the fruits power should be a permanent boost as it would be kind of wasteful to go through draining planets for this boost to obtain a power boost that isn't permanent
I would say that the Tree of Might fruit lasts only temporarily. It made more sense originally that Turles would have to planet hop between ripe planets to continue growing the tree to harvest the fruit as opposed to it being a permanent stimulant.
Gohan and Krillin joining Goku for gravity training would force him to hold back and not turn the gravity all the way up, at least not as quickly. So, Goku would be much weaker on Namek than in the original timeline, and whatever extra power Gohan and Krillin gained would likely be just about nullified once they get Guru's boost.
Let the power return to turles The only time we seen the fruit backfires where when it was fake tree of might fruit like frost had in legends or modified fruit that towa had in xenoverse 2 let Turles get that increase in power that he be permanent let it be a scenario that guru help Turles unlock the hidden power of the fruit cause the fruit atleast from what xenoverse has said is food for the gods/kai's
I don't know if others would agree and it is nothing against Turles but my opinion is that he shouldn't get the fruit's power back. That way he learns how to get power the right way as I don't think there is a shortcut to being truly good. Building himself up along side the others could possibly help with his development as a character. P.S. It'd be funny if Launch was put back into the story in this timeline and Turles gets confused as the sneezing and stuff and ends up falling in love with how spontaneous she can be. Then they have a daughter or son who can turn super but when she/he sneezes she/he gets blonde hair but have her/his normal hairstyle be somewhat spikey so you can't tell if she/he is super Saiyin or not.

I feel like Goku in a way wants to persuade any surviving saiyans to their side not only to get a good fight but also to gather what's left of his kind. I think even though he didn't like his origins i feel Goku would still want to keep his saiyan race alive Broly was one of them unlike a regular saiyan Broly was pure just like Goku and that's what like about Goku he tries to persuade members of his race to join him and live a life a peace.
