Early game, for my second army, I prefer an efficient Prince with an Archmage accompanying. With a full stack of lower tier troops on the efficient guy the savings mean the archmage is basically free upkeep.
Thanks for the guide!. I love teclis but i always struggle in the campaigns unless its a starting mod change. I'll give this a go on my next play through!
Great guide man, I think Teclis should get event to confederate Saphery like Imrik with Caledor. It would be nice to have a foothold on the donut or to just fully migrate there
Thanks mate and yes, I absolutely agree. He should either have a triggered confederation a-la Imrik/Rakarth/Lokhir Fellheart, or he should have a dual start position, a-la Eltharion. It's ridiculous that he's so isolated compared to his peers.
Great video guide as usual.. what happened in my campaign (middle game), is Oxyotl declaring war on me as i was busy north dealing with the the lizards.
Thanks Alex! And yeah, Oxyotl is a potential problem. Can be stemmed by selling settlements to him while you concentrate on other things, but has to be taken seriously.
Fantastic guide! Any tips on dealing with Kairos in general? He's ruining all my Mannfred campaigns by teleport ambushing me and I can't beat him in a straight fight with the standard Grave Guard, Blood knights and characters army
Thanks mate. Glad you liked the video! So I haven't fought Kairos yet as vampires (I prefer the *other* Von Carsteins, as Mannfred is a douche). However, I can see why this would be a struggle, as vamps are not a great match against that much range and magic. These are some things that I would try out: On the campaign map, obviously going settlement-to-settlement is the safest option for movement and attacking, however, that is not always possible. So, use heroes to scout him out and identify his movement range, then leave your army just outside that range, in ambush stance. That will encourage him to come forward, while minimising the threat of actually being attacked. For battles it is pivotal to tie down his Horrors and Flamers ASAP, to cut down on his firing. Use heroes and, if you have the magic, summons to initiate that as soon as possible, allowing your other units to close the distance. From there you need to concentrate upon his casters. Spirit Leech is extremely valuable for that and if you have single entities on flying mounts, get them onto Kairos (or any Lords of Change) as soon as you've been able to pin down the range. Cycle charging with the cavalry will also kill off the pinned ranged units faster, so you can move on to other targets.
@@WarmasterMoloch Thanks for the advice, yeah Im being soured on Mannfred after confederating Vlad and him being way more of a boss (singlehandedly tanked hundreds of dwarves winning me a heroic battle, Mannfred just melts). I'll give it all a try, I think my biggest issue was fighting them in the jungle just south of desert Mannfred starts in where everywhere is 80% ambush and slow travel between settlements. Looking forward to the next guide!

There is a mod on the steam workshop that triggers that after 5 settlement captures, if you like?
@@kevak1236 ah thanks a bunch 🙏, is it called teclis can confederate saphery?
@@TheMMOCafe Yup
