- Alright guys, we're about to jump into the easiest makeup tutorial ever. Well, borderline anyway.
I'm going to show you how I do this super easy eye makeup tutorial that's perfect for everyday. This eyeshadow look is simple and neutral enough to wear to work or school!
I'm also going to give you a review of some of my favorite makeup products that I use every day!

I've only used them once in my life and when my makeup was done my eyes felt so heavy. It felt so weird.
I'm happy wearing my mascara, lashes are a no for me now.
Only the kiss lashes in the feather light style, I can do, ANY lashes other than those I can’t do. The feather style are so light so comfy I can’t feel the lashes
I suggest cutting up the lashes and putting them on piece by piece. Makes it a lot easier and natural. To me, at least
Just found your channel. Love that your looks never overpower you. Your skin always glows and you have fabulous bone structure. You use so little makeup but place and apply it perfectly. Your haircut really compliments your whole vibe. Great channel !
Can we bring back this lash look? I cannot with the heavy false lashes, everywhere you go. I think one day we're gonna look back on false lashes like 80's blush and blue eyeshadow. Too much!!

I have an autoimmune disease which rendered me a Hairless Hoodlum in three weeks: I have zero, zilch, not a single hair anywhere-unless the cat makes a donation ;-) Eyelashes are vital to the health and protection of one’s eyes and without them, I’d be in abject misery or eventually blind.
Not all eyelashes require glue. You can always try out different non-glue lashes and see if they work more successfully for you. But the eyebrows? UUUggghhhhh!

This is my fav makeup look ever. It’s everyday, it’s posh, it’s natural, it’s gorgeous. It can even immediately become glam with a set of lashes. To me, THIS is what makeup is about.

No eyeliner is like the best part. I mean it’s not for everyone. Every time I try to use eyeliner it just looks wrong. I like my eyes a whole lot better when I don’t use eyeliner and just pretty shades of eyeshadow and some mascara! SO much better!
My hooded eyelids say “yeah.. this ain’t happening” 😁😂

Ahh.. having pale olive skin AND hooded eyes, no wonder I've always struggled with makeup lol. Finding a good eyeshadow to match my skin is a real struggle. I love preppy by mug but it can be too dark for me in winter.

After the lockdown over you could try going to a beauty counter at a Debenhams/Seohora (not sure where you live). There's usually someone there around to help.
@@pingu3984 I'm in Australia. I'm not sure if we have those stores here or not. But thank you for the suggestion. I've been to a myers counter before. But they made me up to look so overdone i couldn't stand it😅

Agree it looks much more natural with just a neutral eyeshadow and without eyeliners.
Lovely! On my next "natural" day I will totally try this. (Usually I'm wearing obvious eyeshadow or none at all, but I really like the definition that the contour shade adds to your eyes!)
This should be the only recommendation for the no make up look.

Alex has soooooo many videos th as t deal with dark circles. I'm unsure if u have seen the one where she addresses this issue. She explains how she has insecurities regarding her own and shows how she tackles them. I'm not certain of the exact video name. Look for the one where she says she never previously shot a video without some under eye touching up. It's really amazing!. She is naturally such a stunning woman full face of makeup or not a touch.
We all have insecurities and she is excellent at showing her audience how makeup can change or illminate them with products that are generally easily accessible.

I LOVE this look and have been doing variations of it for years. The shadow on the lower lash line is so sexy beautiful natural looking. You can also look at your natural skin tones before putting in any makeup to see what color your eyes want to be and just improve on that
Why do my lower lids look older when I do this? I feel like the shade just accentuates my wrinkles (I'm 34).

Please tell me what color your eyes are. I swear mine are the same and I've been calling them hazel green (blue grey ring, green background, with gold around the pupil).I keep getting told my eyes arent green or hazel. I just want to play up the colors in my eyes but it's impossible to find the right shades if I dont even know my own eye color 😳

Wow, if this is the “natural”, “easy” tutorial then I am in way over my head 😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️
I promise it's not that complicated to try. if you can pat stuff on your face and swirl a brush, you can do it! I wear makeup once or twice a week or for "occasions" and this is basically all I do, sans contour (I haven't found a good shade yet) and bronzer (I literally do not see the point when I'm so pale).
If you want SUPER basic, you can literally just wear a BB cream (CC cream has more coverage, may wash you out) and call it a day... Total 1 and done
If you feel like you want a little more here's what I suggest, in order of what I'd put on first:
*1. face primer* (preferably one that hydrates and blurs w/o being oily... I really like Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser, but mists are cool too. BB creams would also work for more coverage.)
(1.a) concealer for dark eyes and red spots
*2. a light coverage foundation or CC cream* (use as little as you want, but blend it out for consistent skin tone)
(2.a) some kind of sponge and/or brush for blending is nice, even though you can literally use your fingers for foundation and primer)
*3. just a hint of blush* (if you get one with a brush in the package, no need to buy a brush!)
(3.a) maybe a lip tint or just balm or gloss
(3.b) mascara and/or liner for eye definition
(2.c) eye shadow if you feel brave (again, check to see if the package has an applicator... although you can use hands)
*4. setting spray or translucent setting powder* (if you get powder you may need a brush, although you could sneak past with a cotton ball or your blush brush.
There are 4 products (in bold) that are bare minimum. If you got everything listed, 9 total... maybe an extra cheap brush or two if your blush or eyeshadow don't come with an applicator.
Hope this helps! If you have any questions let me know. I do very basic makeup on a shoestring budget, so I get it.
My biggest problem with eye makeup is that I can't see anything without glasses
Same. I can’t see well without my glasses. Even with them the lighting is still bad. But I don’t have a bright light that won’t take an hour to properly adjust, and won’t hurt my eyes.

This might be an odd request in that you are young with fabulous skin and obviously many years to go before you hit 'that age', but I've recently discovered and really like your cut to the chase style of tutorials and was wondering if you might offer some make up tips for the over 50's and the skin creasing, eye hooding, etc, challenges we face? I work in a corporate office environment so still want to look put together but wondering if I can and/or should still be trying to pull off my tried and true make up routines, specifically eyes, regarding shadows and liners. Don't want to be THAT old bag trying to stay young, but still look classy. Thanks so much for your videos!

I use a mix of different powders on my face to achieve similar look and I only wear mostly a protective moisturizer underneath. Are you wearing any foundation or--- do tell: What do you wear as a base underneath the powders which you use from the pallet?

Fortunately your natural look is my glam look! I can't rationalize the time it takes to put on false lashes and full glam make-up for any occasion. If I have good music to listen to, then I will take more time to try it.
