Ok if this comment gets away from me I apologize, I've been dealing with a damaged ulnar nerve damage in right arm. If you're not familiar with the medical term, its what they call the "funny bone", but believe me when its messed up there's nothing funny about it just very painful and takes a while to heal. This video is definitely one for the books, had a little bit of EVERYTHING in it. Funniest part was where mule decided it didn't like its rider. I know that the person it happened to didn't think so, but yep it was a Kodak moment...lol . You guys go through so much either by mule or whatever it takes just to keep it real and interesting so for that I say thank you so very much. You all have helped me make it through some rough times. Lot of people say that I just have to deal with it because of my age. That may be but my spirit doesn't accept that part. Ok...so you go after a puma and come back with one very huge bear.....unbelievable. I've had bear meat before, most didn't like it, me I was sorry I didn't have more. Those beautiful dogs worked their buts off, and showed no fear, job well done and very well trained. Ok made it through all this and have to go ice my right hand. If you ever get bored which I truly doubt, just for one day try doing everything with the opposite hand that you normally use. Definitely a challenge and at times it can be very irritating. So going to buzz, you guys take care, stay safe, at least try. And best always Rusty in OK. Best vide ever later

This channel is AMAZING. You’re right, the algorithm is absolutely messing with my exposure to the right stuff. I started down the rabbit hole regarding hound hunting after YT recommended a bunch of anti hound hunting vids/vlogs. I was so shocked that people could run untrained dogs through private land and hoped to hell it was an isolated issue. Your dogs are on a different level. Rooster shutting up immediately after being shushed shocked me, based on the other hunters I watched with 0 relationship with their dogs. Them not tearing into the bear or roaming away after an hour, them sticking with you when you’re close. Beautiful hard working hounds, I love it. Thank you!

I have to say when those mules start bucking I wish you all had helmets on, no matter where you fall out on the trail it's going to be a hard fall and you could get hurt and hurt bad. Depending on where in the US they are population control of both bears and mountain lions is absolutely necessary for ecological reasons. Furthermore, everyone I know of who hunts bears in the US eats them, so I suppose the point is the same as with killing any animal.
A few good reasons: Bear Steaks, Rendered Bear Fat, Bear Sausage, Bear Fajitas, Bear Chili, Ground Bear. The license fee to hunt them helps pay for improving habitat, research, etc..
My mind sees dollar signs. Hunting isn't cheap. Weapon's and ammo, gear, clothes, dogs, Trucks, trailer, mules, horses, training of dogs and horses. 4 Wheeler, ATV. It's quite the commitment
Dude just wanted to know that why would you kill a bear entering it's natural habitat? He was not harming you. How can you kill him while he is living in his natural habitat? Where do you guys want those poor bears to go ?
So each state has a number of animals the environment can support so to make sure there aren’t too many bears or wolves or pumas or elk, deer, bison, etc… they let a % of them be taken each year, so if you hunt legally in the u.s. you’re actually helping the environment.
Yea just be careful, I honestly didn't know it was so common! I ran into a bear twice in one day ... I didn't have anything to protect me from it! I also ran into the bear at NIGHT~ imagine that!
