"Why the long faces boys?"....(Classic Brocs and Donks lingo) Once again... not a swear word anywhere. My upmost respect for you guys laughing off the horse nonsense. Most horse wreaks and rodeos are accompanied by a swearing sailor. Keep up the good attitude.
I wish I was out riding with you guys. A month ago I lost my Horse to a leg infection. Well, my family needed money to pay the house bills so, we sent him to a girl. She's a vet tech! She came with a teal and magenta-colored trailer and she rode him. She liked him and took him. But just as we got close to home, she called. She said he scratched his leg pretty badly. She walked him back to the stables and my parents drove there. The girl who took him wrapped his leg up, TIGHT. The next day my parents called the vet over. The vet said it was infected. She braided his tail and cut it off. Then, they went to the back of the stables. The vet gave him medicine to make him fall asleep for centuries...... 😓😓😔😔 RIP Hunk
Can you imagion what these animals legs and feet looked like after this abuse? I would not put my horse or mules into this exstremly steep and rugged country. These are not men, they are animal abusers and want to be s and I am ashamed of them.
@@allanclose9684 are you joking 💀 how do you think people got around before cars? do you think they flew? they rode horses. horses and mules are literally built for this, and these ones are taken care of. it’s a tough job but they can do it.
In typical mule fashion the smartest one there (the mule) was all "These boys don't have a clue what they're doing, I'm outta here!" Gotta love a mule.
I've missed your videos! Now I realize it's YT doing their "punishment " for ridiculous crap of some people under the 'influence' of non reality. LOVE how your mixing w earth & animal
I don’t have the tolerance to deal with a horse that refuses to work and flips over. And is dangerous like that so good on y’all for being patient. But that would be a gone horse for me.
High expectations for a green horse is dangerous. They don't get any broker just sitting there. Getting them out and giving them a job to do is the only way unless you make them dumber. Depends on the person. If you do not have the tolerance, you do not have the skill. Working with horses and mules is all about tolerance and patience.
These guys are real cowboys so they can handle broncs. But I agree with the rest of you, too many good horses in the world for me to work with a dangerous one.
You guys are so awesome!! It would be so much fun to go on a hunting trip with you guys! Love all your mules and horses. Also I love all the names you guys give them 😄
You guys should get a highland pony! They may be ponies, but they’re literally bred/built to pack big stags off the Scottish highlands! My mum bred my girl when I was a kid and being bred to haul heavy stags, meant I didn’t need to upgrade in teens/20s! She’s retired now, but gave me years of long daily hacks, lots of champ ribbons at English and western shows (was always fun beating adults on professionally trained, imported QH’s that had won prize money in US, as a kid on my self trained chunky highland pony 🤣) and when she was fit, she’d keep up with leggy hunters and p2p tbs all day out fox/drag hunting! Sadly not much of a cutting scene in England, as she would have excelled in that too, getting a lot of practice rounding up constantly escaping cattle we met out hacking lol! Would have loved to have taken her to states to get into more fun side of western riding, but unfortunately my body gave out on me at 18, so plans of moving over there for a few years in 20s and getting chance to do some ranch work and do mustang training/colt starting competitions, before getting my own yard to train from, went out the window. Just glad I’d put work in to get experience to start training solo by 18, so at least got to prove I could do it and no regrets about wasting my short working life on a job I hated lol!
Never met a mule, but I think a highland would give them a run for their money! They are tough, strong, full of character and have no trouble of difficult terrain! Riding around us was practically all steep hills and some of them are scary going down in a car or on foot, let alone in saddle, yet I only came off her on steep down hill once and that was because I hadn’t done girth up enough and was still an unbalanced child, so bloody treeless saddle spun under her lol! She only went down under me twice, one was out hunting when we cantered into very deep bog and other time there was oil on slick but of road and she went down, but both times she jumped up unscathed and while I did have to vault on her after the bog, she did stay slow enough for me to get up before charging after the pack, and with oil she hopped back up and stood still while I scraped myself up and checked her and tack over (I noticed my knees were huge and bleeding a few minutes later while leading to make sure she wasn’t hiding injury….turns out I’d fractured both knee caps 🤣), So didn’t even get theatrical moments after these falls! Think 2 incidents over many years of being taken out 6-20miles most days (occasionally with a days showing between 6-10mile hack each way) isn’t bad, especially when even roads had scarily steep slopes lol!
Unless the Ponies name is MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE? I doubt it Emily. Besides this is the Rocky MOUNTAINS not the Scottish HIGHLANDS. 3,000" is a little bit different than 7,000"-11,000" elevation. Those are Colt MUles on first trip or two. Just Remember Emily? CAN'T NEVER COULD. YOU THREW IT OUT THE WINDOW NOT YOUR BODY

I’m glad to see another video, Tyler! Looks like a fun trip. Take John Cena to town, though. Too many good ones around to deal with that sort of thing.
Hey guys love your videos and u inspire me to follow my dream I love horses and farming and I have always wanted to be just like you guys . Out in the country like real cowboy you guys are amazing.
So, I've seen hooves go through a trailer floor. I 'very seen two good horses ruined. One had to be put down after he couldn't pull his hoof back up into the trailer. The other lived but never could be riden again. Get some full cut sawmill planks and replace those dam boards in that piece of junk stock trailer y'all got. Dam brother take care of your gear and your stock !

The string of horses Luke and I saw on the horse trail in to Tuestemenia lake had halters on. But I think we both assumed they were wild. No time to string them up as they passed right by. A horse string with no rider. In case anyone thinks there aren't any wild horses in Alaska. I don't know much about blankets and such, but I was good with a knot that stayed tight and comes untied when they go to water.
I trully believe the Cena mare has some kind of problem, maybe when she gets stressed out her body shuts down or she has some kind of weakness on her joints, i don't believe she's doing all that just because.
This video was very entertaining. That horse rolling over and laying down. My mom used to talk about this horse they had when she was growing up on a farm in North Carolina how it would lie down to keep from working, and I thought she was making it up since I'd never seen such a thing. The steep hills you climb and the harsh conditions. Whoo. Makes for some interesting videos for sure.
I live near the snowy mountains in australia as in the country they filmed the man from snowy river in and we always used crupper to keep saddles and packs from slipping forward onto the animals withers when going downhill
You guys should have a look at Australian stock horses,I have been mountain riding with my stock horses and they did great (just something to look into) btw love you vids glad that my brother showed me you RUclips channel
Yup. Australian stock horses are the ducks nuts. There's not much they can't do. In saying that though, as amazing, sure footed, all rounders that they are, I'm not convinced they as sure footed as a well bred, well trained, mule. They'd be close, but not quite.
