I can confirm this method works lol and is way easier than lexan scissors. Love informative videos on anything rc. Even if I know what the person is doing I’ll give it a view. Now I kinda wanna get a new body for my drift car😂
I always use knife to trim out all the edges of a lexan. Then i use the straight scissor to cut out the lower extra lexan off from away from where traced. Also using those curved scissors suck alot.
Oh my God yes! I love doing a nice fresh body and painting but have always hated using body scissors! Tried a dremel, way to aggressive, and tried sanding edges etc, this leaves a perfectly glass smooth edge, had a new proline body been dreding cutting for 2 months, just did this (went straight across wheel wells, then scored those second) and finished rounding the edges with body scissors of the fender/wheel well. Took less than 10 minutes going super slow as I was worried it wouldn't follow the line when snapping. Thank you!
Nice!!!! How do we soften the body in areas where you want to bend it to custom a exterior fender? I have a RGT Challenger truck 1/10 and I want to bend the rear fender to add a custom wide fender to cover rear wheels😢
You should advise people be extremely careful with an Xacto knife. Those damn things are sharp! Like 10x sharper then a razor blade. I got myself pretty good a while back haha.
Being left-handed looks like the job is easier cuz I tried it and with my right hand trying to balance it it's pretty difficult although it could be done👍🔥😎🔥👌
Just watching your technique of cutting directly over the top of your supporting hand does not fill me with confidence for myself. I can TOTALLY see things going very badly. Glad you're able to do it so effortlessly.

Sweet video. This axial body has deep cut line guides. I guess that makes this technique super easy. Here goes....
