you dont need needle nose pliers to install the yokes on traxxas driveshafts. The traxxas trucks comes with a silver tool to push on the yolk so you don't have to mess or weaken the plastic yokes. so smart Pro-Line Racing

I think this build is for entry level dragster racers who just want a drag car to race or practice with and get good steering before upgrading. I think what people miss when racing is practice. My cousin once told me dont even worry about upgrading the car till i can drive the track flawlessly.

If there any other cheaper options or Drag Slash RTR I have a old slash but I can't see putting 300-400$ into something made to do something else! Its like buying a air plain to build a rocket out of it

Buck Val yea you might need a few parts, I know the rear arms on a slash are shorter and probably a couple other little things but it shouldn’t be too much, I’ve converted between slash, stampede and rustler a few times, it’s a fun change if you can’t afford another truck

Buck Val rear arms and is replace all the plastic links with turnbuckles, I can’t think of what else but if you google stampede to lcg slash you should find a forum that explains it

Hi, can this be converted to a drift/basher instead? If yes can I use the Slash A Arms instead? What tires you recommend? And also what's the part number of the Hinge Bracket as it's not showing on the list/link you provided? Thanks.

      Hi @Bok Pescasio,
We have not tried this. This set up is specifically for Drag Racing.
Here is the Hinge Pin Brace:
