This episode deserves to be watched again and again. It’s really practical and useful. Many thanks for your time and effort. You two did a great job indeed.🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊😊😊
I am from Bangladesh and i start my speaking journey because i am a beginner hopefully i will ensure to you my successful speaking journey after a few years later .
Very useful phrases, efficent lesson as always. Thanks teachers❤ For me, fast food but snacks in particular are really hard to resist. I try not to eat too much but every now and them, I can treat myself to a nice bag of chips, a bar of chocolate 😂 During pregnancy, I cut them out for good. I am trying to keep my kid away from them as well. But from time to time, especially when my kid is not around, I and my husband love indulging ourselves in those treats 😂 when we buy naughty things from grocery, we store them in a place out of his sight and reach 😅
I indulge in boba milk tea which is a famous drink from Taiwan. Have you tried it before?^^ I appreciate your amazing podcasts which also make me indulge in☺
Thanks a lot! I'll admit, it's sorta hard for me to speak about food becouse there are a lot of specific words and phrases, and expressions, you name it. I'll try to fill the gap.)
Very true. Even though we cover a lot of "easy / beginner" topics, there is still a lot of vocabulary that many students aren't aware of - hopefully you learned some new ones in this video!

Fabulous 👌 Just a question, Can we use *hit* this way in the following example: Having had a hit of sugar, I felt fresh again and could go through my project.
Yes definitely! - "A hit of + noun." A hit of sugar A hit of nicotine A hit of caffeine As you can see, we tend to use it with specific ingredients, or things that make you feel better very quickly!
Well, I think my comment deleted. So, once again to ask . Do we use articles before food? I think you said the odd kebab, but fish and chips? Thank you!
@teachersara7025 do you mean the word " food " itself? Then yes , to my understanding, food is uncountable and is not used articles before it, but when referring to as the specific one, I think it is possible to use " "the "article. But I meant before the names of food .I think the same rule applies to it as well, but anyway asked. I am sure , they will answer, so let's see.
Good question! The reason we need an article is because of the adjective: "odd". It's also needed when you use similar adjectives like: - "I enjoy [the occasional] bar of chocolate." - "I enjoy [the odd] kebab at the weekends." BUT *not* with these ones: - "I enjoy [a rare] treat at Christmas." - "I do enjoy [a little] treat after work." Articles are a total minefield in English. Even we're not sure what the logic behind them is half of the time. It's just a case of exposure and reviewing frequently enough to refresh your memory. Hope that helps!
Hi, you should say Sb indulges in sth My kid indulges in chocolate ... Although you are on a diet ,you can indulge yourself once a while in some cookie 🍪
Good question, and the above reply is correct. You can [indulge in] something. Every now and then I like to [indulge in] some nice chocolate. It implies that you really really enjoy it and appreciate it, most likely because it's really really delicious!

May I call it a " Confort Food"?
Yes definitely! "Comfort food" is often unhealthy, but super super delicious!
