It’s so much fun, maxed out my thief yesterday, moving on to spearhead, then magic archer after.
Hopefully they don’t nerf anything in a single player pve choice driven game.
using formless feint to cancel out the burn damage you take from blades of the pyre is awesome too
It’s cool but on any boss hundred kisses and skull splitter does more damage than blades of pyre even gut and run upgraded does more damage then blades of pyre. It’s only good for like aoe small mobs when surrounded. But you have so many other things you can do then use that skill,

Love this feels like a phase shifting assassin
To fully complete this build, look into mages secret special spell! It completely stops stamina from draining for a while, so i would combo this, with that, and then set the support mage with Kindhearted or Calm.. on the Help me! command during every fight (meaning they will focus adding buffs or defensive stuff. At least i think thats how calm mages works)
Quick note you can put shortcut for healing/stamina potion so you don't have to go in inventory
I use formless feint and blades of pyre. Formless negates the self damage from blades of pyre and does massive damage. Smoke screen to get backstabbing. Draw and quarter for massive damage on large creatures

Is it worth to go for low weight for the increases stamina regen to fuel Formless Feint for longer? It seems the threshold for the lowest weigth class is 48 kg (SS), but this limits character height to around 165 cm. The threshold for the second lowest weigth class is 64 kg (S), but you are limited to a character height of around 185 cm. The next threshold is at 84 kg (M) and allows character heights up to around 205 cm. Having high stamina regen for low weighth is nice, but having low movement speed for low height is not.
Would the augment from Warfarer that makes your skills use less stamina make the drain slower? Not seen that answered anywhere online.
What daggers u suggest?
Crazy that they put this in the game. I thought we would have got gale wind the attack speed movement speed skill from assassin in DD1. We already have quick step! You can just spam carbs into twin fangs and spam quick step anytime you think you’re gonna get hit! Or quick step into carve or quick step into twin fangs does insane distance gap closers with the tracking! There already was best class without this skill it just took more skill to be at that level! This skill just makes a bad player become god mode 😂
where did you get the weapon ur using?
I do 4Thiefs with lots of potions that I don't use because drakes die in less then 1 min. Splitting skull enough said.
The crazy thing is too.. if your have stamina Draughts you can just keep popping them and the stamina just keeps goin 😂 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally set myself on fire with blades of pyre because I thought activated it with weapons sheathed and I didn’t lol 😂
What level should you be to fight the drake and do you have to have Max gear to fight it?
I started killing drake around level 30. Definitely didn’t have great gear yet, just stay away from his fire breath attacks and don’t be under him when he lands.
Killed my first lvl 27 was very long but I'm 61 MA now and the fight ain't even lasting 40sec
I'd say go for 40
Killed my first around lvl 30, was a hard fight but not to hard. Very fun 2!
How about wayfarer build combos
Tbh the ability feels too strong because it lasts so long and it just trivializes the hardest fights but it’s cool af.
Crazy that they made something even more broken than pre-nerf Temporal Mantle was in Monster Hunter World.
I expect this to similarly get nerfed.
Use blades of the pyre while active the ability and u'll thank me later.

Op early kill the 1st drake at the village with ballista and get op spearhand weapon really early
I find spearhand hard to play. How are you liking it?
Not the village it's the ancient battlefield or something like that and in the ruins above you'll find the weapon that's a monster for spear guy

Some cool looking armour for thief also but when you cant be hit it seems poinltess. When combined with smallest charcater model and no armour can take advantage of very light weight which consumes less stamina all round , climbing on monsters, running ect, and allows you to run FF longer. Seems like formless feint is the ultimate armour....just sad my character looks like a bum. Would have put more effort into crazy body tattoos if i had known 😢

I'm soglad thief gets the love it deserves. Planned on starting with it and probably ending with it as main vocation. After 4h in the game, man i just diped into fight er and archer vey fast to get my thief even better, best vocation!

I mean. Cool for sure . But mystic spear hand trickster mage your gonna be 50-60 in new game plus. So I think the reality is a lot of these builds will just be super strong , not stupid strong lol

Mystic spear hand can literally stand there and make the entire squad invincible indefinitely. Way more efficient

Just pause the video and tag the location on your map. You can go there straight away without being assigned the mission

Yeah all the points you made, mystic spear hand does it better AND applies invincibility to the entire team lol
But only for like 5s at the cost of a lengthy animation and a chunk of stamina.

I'd imagine they might consider changing it to consume stamina for every attack evaded instead of continuous drain. In the first game they also had the OP Assassin vocation which received some nerfs with the DLC "Dark Arisen"

Archer is very good but thief is just super busted. also spearhand shield is busted. I don’t know why they put these easy mode skills in tbh
