Thank you for this video. By chance do you have the service notes for this version? I have the same Taiwan version "DD-3C" board and cannot find service notes anywhere. I actually need the "Rotary Mode switch" but am unable to find the correct part number as I cannot find service notes for this board. The only service notes available are for the DD3A, B, and T. Where or how did you find that POTENTIOMETER replacement? None of the Boss Service centers are any help. They all just say throw it away and buy a new one.
I'm wondering the same thing - the rev T schematic is the latest I've been able to find. It seems the mode switch is actually just a potentiometer with 4 detents. The pedal I'm troubleshooting has a fault whereby in L mode you have to hold the pedal down to get the delay effect (instead of the foot switch toggling the effect).
My “Boss DD-3” turns on and appears red LED but no fx come out. My Power Supply’s @ MXR ISO-Supply- I’ve always used a 9v power supply/one-connect/daisy chain/9volt 🔋 but it stopped working one day. Now light comes on but again, no fx. I plug fx in front of amp w/power from (ISO). Signal passes through, LED turns on/off, but fx signal is useless. Any advice where a good place to begin troubleshooting, learning etc? Anyone got #’s to boss? Let’s get it!

What's the specs for the Level pot?
