Like seriously this is armour what the hell is all this! Girros, Baroth and Baan do look better though. First one is just sick while and the cutting down on the original's personality means it gets to dodge the stupid ass plague doctor mask+cowboy hat combo and the other two manage to do what I was hoping for in female armour, ie they cut out the overwhelming 90's action figure looking bulkyness while also avoiding the cardinal sin of boob plate+ thigh highs. Also I'll give kodachi, Lumu and Kirrin a pass since while they're goofy as hell they're goofy in a way that's consistent with the male armour and excepting kirrin obviously, avoid the stupid female armour design tropes I mentioned before. And Zorah magdaros since it is pretty similar and dodges boobplate since its a scaled leather on the front anyway.

I personally like the butterfly armor, Kadachi armor, and the Lumu armor. Also, Vaal is feeding my inner edge (Only a small amount remains, it mostly vanished post-high school).

Wish there were something like you can pick the best armor in the game but have armor in a different slot like WoW or something akin to FFXIV with its glamour system so that you can choose which armor you want other people to see
If you get to HR 100, or finish all optional missions, you’ll unlock a quest that’ll grant you a “Commission Research Ticket” that’ll unlock one last set of armor. The HR 100 quest is against all 3 tempered elder dragons, and the optional quest involves 5 large monsters in the arena area. (Finishing all optional give a really cool extra goodie too) Happy hunting!

If you finish all optional quests and the extra quest killing all 4 apex predators in the arena you get the handler's armor set for females which you missed.
I definitely regret making a female character first. Like she looks badass with the Oda set, but the male versions of the sets are so much better looking
I wish that for each set where a fenale has a bra armor while the male as an actual armor, they'd given us a delta set where ut displays actual armor plate on female and bare chest and belts or something on males... EDIT: tho my biggest disapointment is that on Odogaron HR alpha the tint only changes the hair bow while on that hideous beta version it actually changed the whole hair color... and that pisses me off cuz I use the Odogaron and wish I could use similar color to my character's hair

Baan: Both but I like β more than α. Looks like a space cat armor suit, funny and cool. Ingot: α for this one, but I assume the color scheme can be changed. looks elegant and empress like, that is truly nice. Legiana: This one... α too. I like the elegant style and the cape that gives a true feeling of being a leader. Odogaron: Only the β one. I like the "masked murderer" scheme, moreover, it seems great to hide in the dark! Teostra: Only the β one. I do usually not like Teostra's armor set but this time, crown and shield emblems... Nice! Special mention to the β Vaal Hazak helm because I really like the roses... Too bad that this one sounds like a grief rose!

I'm currently trying to decide what gender to play while I wait for the PC release. I want to play male cos I'm male, but I don't like how all the male armor makes you look bulky. Is it weird that I don't like how male armor typically goes for the full plate look with full helm and all that? Why couldn't the male version have the hood like the female xeno jiiva armor or something like the veil of the female vaal hazak armor?
That's not really the issue I have. I'm just saying that Male armor seems to have generally less variety than female armor. E.g, when the female armor has a hood in xeno jiiva armor, male armor has a helmet. when female armor has a veil in vaal hazaak armor, male armor has a helmet. Don't get me wrong, the helmets are different and are designed in a way that is noticeably different, but they're still helmets.

The great hornfly used to craft it is most commonly obtained from the botanical research when obtaining materials from it.

I think Nergi beta and Xeno’jiiva alpha look awesome
You guys are complaining about the fucking looks and how it's bulky and shit but that's the point of armor. It's suppose to protect you not make you look sexy.
From start to post game,I just went from the Kulu armor,to the Rathalos(a classic set to me 😄)to the Zorah and then all the way to the Xeno'jiiva armor 😂 I have no interest in any of the others, but I can't wait until the Vangis armor comes out,miss being a green motorcycle chick lol 😆

You don’t have the Commision armor or the guild armor
How do you get the a and b of the armor? I am only able to get one of each set. I dont have the two different options. Im also a male character not sure if that makes a difference.
the alpha and beta are only for high rank
You haven`t reached HR Quests , meaning you can only get low Rank armor for now
