Curious why did you texture the patch when the rest of the wall isn’t textured? All that effort to blend in the seam but now it’s pretty obvious this area sticks out? Is there a functional purpose to the texture ?

There is a texture on the rest of the wall. The compression of the video makes it hard to see sometimes the texture on a white surface since white is often very compressed in video. It’s easier to see on the surface patch because of the color. The purpose of texturing the patch is is to make it blend in with the rest of the wall and the texturing will look very similar to the original wall after priming and painting.
