Why didn't you use a primer on the bare hot mud after it dried?? If its a time thing just use Zinsser Shellac based primer. Dries within 35-40 minutes. GREAT STUFF!!

I thought so, I watched someone in Europe repairing the plaster ceiling cracks paining the areas with glue as the person felt it was the only way to prep ceiling to paint with a latex. I never heard of that. I would be crushed to go to all that work and have those areas peel off.
You can use bins that stuff is good too
Have you thought about teaching people in person? Like a live class or something, everyone doing their own repair, like all those Karen's that get together and drink wine and try to paint the dame dumb picture, only for real people, Bob Ross style!
