People’s hate for isagi is so unwarranted. It’s like they missed the chapter saying he is a “genius in terms of adaptability”. They just want an MC who never gets a W. Isagi rarely ever gets complete wins, he gets technical wins like scoring the last goal by outsmarting, never really beats someone on pure individual skill. But the moment he starts to do well, everyone loses their heads and says “he needs to lose” 😂
I completely agree, like now all of a sudden because the MC is consistently playing at a high level as he should be at this point then it's plot armor, but when another character does it then it's fine?? Doesn't help that now Isagi is even getting hate because he has supportive parents (total bullshit). The writing of the whole of Blue Lock is predictable 80% of the time since the beginning. Call it a super complex manga with plottwists around every corner would be literally a joke. It's funny that people call it "lazy writing" when things don't turn out the way they want. Idk why, but Blue Lock fans in the comments are for the most part a bunch of super childish shounen-die-hards, crying around, insulting around and trashtalking around when their beloved mc doesn't get the spotlight or was attacked by someone. Instead of being happy for a character in the show that gets more interesting than before because he stayed too hard in his character, they cry around instead of being glad that the show turns in new directions. I mean football fans aren't meant to be very intelligent, but BL comments always get me second hand embarassment. A manga isn't interesting at all if the main character can smoothly can through anything. It would be damaging for the plot if Isagi would get the things he desires even beforehand in his thoughts. The new gen 11 were even portrait far too weak anyways until this point. Absolutely unrealistic growth from the characters on OUR BL side makes the plot pretty one-sided and predictable.
