- In this video I show off my recently acquired 3DS XL with some background information about me, a lookthrough of its previous data, decoration, and a full mod tour. I've decided to make this video due to the spike in the 3DS's popularity and spotlight, sharing my little slice of history with this console as I too revisit and upgrade :)!

I have been playing a 3ds since like 2014/2016
For your splash not working, load up the Luma Menu on boot and make sure that game patching is on (it shouldn't be technically required but sometimes it being turned off messes things up) and also make sure the splash setting is set to "Before" hopefully you can get it working!

@@shorkbork_finnGlad I could help! Last time I updated Luma, it turned my Splashes off and I had to do the same process :)

I love my 3DS consoles. My new 2DS XL is modded and some other systems too. I just subscribed and I also enjoy doing nintendo content. Good job!

what a lovely video! i also got the same console in the same colorway just recently and most decorating videos are for the white versions so this was great inspiration ^_^ love the ocean theming

Any of ur 3ds got wobly hinges ? my o3ds and new 3ds got it
@@homina.hominaI have a DSlite with a completely broken hinge I’m trying to get fixed currently but that’s a super common problem with those. When it comes to any of my 3DS’s they all work, though my og 3DS’s definitely don’t have the snap that this XL does.
Overall though hingewear is a common problem unfortunately.
hi how did you get fire red to show up on your homescreen like at 16:43 i’ve been trying to find tutorials all over the place but can’t find any😞😞 i hate going through the gba emulator that you could download on universal updater so if you could tell me id really appreciate it🥹
@@chimpacion5258 I would be super glad to help!! I personally found a .cia download of the game here,

after you install it to you SD card you can download it with CIA
If you want to do this with any other gba games you can also use the New Super Ultimate Injector to make your own .cia files to install the same way
@@shorkbork_finn when you downloaded the cias what folder did you put them in and where did you go to download them
@@chimpacion5258 Once you install them from either the link I put in my previous reply or a different website you can find by looking up “Nintendo 3DS CIAS” you will want to put it in a “Cia” folder on the root of your SD card. Then when you open FBI you can open that folder, click on the cia, and download it to your Home Screen!

If you don’t already have a Cia folder on your DS card you can make it yourself!
