Unfortunately none of these worked for me , spent hours trying to fix the problem, turns out if you have avast free anti virus the web shield is the cause of blockage, I disabled avast web shield and the Internet was back up and running immediately. Hope this helps for anyone with the same problem.

the CMD ip configs worked for me. my case was that after doing a few changes on my internet router CODA 4582 from rogers, some sites werent accessible, luckily, RUclips was! Thanks again!
I tried all 7 of these methods and restarted PC between each method. None of these worked. I was hopeless and about to give up. I ran across something that said update your drivers. So i booted up a program i have for updating drivers, its called "Driver Booster 6". I attempted to scan my PC with it, but of course Driver Booster had a problem connecting to it's server because of the internet problem i had. Then it asked me If i wanted to let it repair my internet connection. I just hit OK, thinking whatever go for it. Then it did its thing and a message came up, "You internet connection has been repaired" and connected to its own server. I was like wow let me check chrome to see if websites are working again, and they were! So whatever Driver Booster 6 did, fixed everything. I fucking love that program. Try it out if these 7 methods dont work for you!

hey guys so i was geting this problem to the point not even youtube or google worked. I was going crazy!! What worked for me was basically #1 clearing history then I went onto my CCleaner and cleared it again (which is a second way of getting rid of data). Do both. Also updated my security (I'm with AVG which I guess AVG and Avast are the same company now). Hope this helps someone!

I did this....i entered this i command prompt: netsh winsock reset catalog .... Then restarted.....then netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log Then the websites started working......but that was only for few minutes after then it again stopped PLEASE HELP

those Windows 10 users who do not have installed any anti virus and still facing the same problem they should disable the network support from the windows defender. this worked for me.
I have watched 3 videos trying to figure out my problem and nothing has worked. I am stressed from it and I have no idea what to do or if I have a virus. I have restarted multiple times and all that works right now is youtube. My anti virus software (Norton 360) says there was an error found but whenever I click restart it just brings me back to the same thing. I can't even update my laptop because of it.
